A couple did this to me when I was 20, now 38 I'm still dealing with mental aftereffects. She was my co-worker at a new job and took me to party at her boyfriends. I had 1 drink and never even finished it. I came to the next morning with them raping me and I felt stuck in my body unable to fight back and frozen. I never went back to work and being young and naive felt it was my fault. These people need to pay the consequences. Especially bec they have money, power and privilege.

It's obnoxious how people go about their lives doing selfish and creepy crap and they don't even fricken care. I carry a pocket knife everywhere I go now. It's bad. Nobody should ever be in such a horrible scenario. This one coworker who talked behind my back constantly harassed me until I texted a creepy guy. She acted like he wasn't creepy and she knew he was. She was just as creepy really. I gave in and finally texted him just to have him tell me I was sexy and he loved me, grooming, disgusting BS. I'm sorry you had to put up with that BS. Still, it's sickening hearing the reporters/police emphasizing looks as if there has ever been any evidence that physically attractive people are any nicer than anyone else. Why would they be? The same thing happened to my mom, we where in Galveston on the beach and this lady came up to us ( already had a few ) and was being friendly. ( she was alone ). But she seemed upset about something and invited my mom back to her place after finding out she was only a couple streets away grown where we were staying and I kept telling her not to, we didn’t know this lady. The lady got passive aggressive with me when I wouldn’t come inside her house so my mom drove me back and my brother decided to stay with me, then she headed back, when I woke up my mom was heading inside and she was covered in scratches and marks and she said the lady tried to rape her and that she came out of nowhere and was super strong, like body builder strong. My mom used to fight before she had kids so that’s how she got away but still she shouldn’t have gone.

The comment about the woman luring in women is so true. I was travelling in LA a few years ago, driving a rental, when a man and a woman told me I had hit their car. We eventually pulled over to access the damage, the woman was so kind and asked if I was okay, kept saying it wasn't a big deal. Then they robbed me of everything at knifepoint. I hadn't hit their car, they had chalked it while I was in a 7/11 - and I never would have stopped if the woman hadn't been there. My heart goes out to all their victims.

Don't get me wrong I think vast majority of medical professionals are good & professional. But I too have begun to wonder about this myself, whether there may be a higher proportion of narcissism or psychopathy in doctor field as compared to other professions? I could be wrong or misperceiving it, but there are some high profile criminal cases that you seem to be referring to, taking place in doctor population that is much smaller than overall population (granted a number could be false accusations, but I am referring to the cases with strong evidence & found guilty) but yet it does still seem too many & particularly there seem to be a number of doctors that turn to grifting because they can actually make more money selling "supplements" or "miracle cures" or whatnot, despite "magical 'thinking'" & reliance on false "cures" can hurt or kill people no different than Elizabeth Holmes' fake "blood tests"... you'd think anyone who took the Hippocratic Oath would not engage in this kind of grifting behavior yet many do... I mean, this isn't just level 1 grifting where you do some kind of shell game & walk away with someone's money. but the grifting when done by "doctors" / involving people's health, that can be life or death. & anyone with actual medical training must certainly know this or be aware of the reality. so such behavior by someone who certainly knows the harm of one's actions implies a high, no limits level of absolute psychopathy. this is very concerning to think it's possible some percentage of doctors out there are like this. anyway, the concerns you mention, I've started to think more about this too, whether more narcissism or psychopathy or as you say insanity in certain professions, like doctor as you mention. What would you think explains what might be going on with a percentage of doctors?

Still, it's sickening hearing the reporters/police emphasizing looks as if there has ever been any evidence that physically attractive people are any nicer than anyone else. Why would they be? I have been sa'd by a medical doctor while in the hospital where he was practicing as a doctor while sedated but I was aware and awake enough to know what was happening. If I ever need anesthesia I will need someone to be in the room the entire time

The same thing happened to my mom, we where in Galveston on the beach and this lady came up to us ( already had a few ) and was being friendly. ( she was alone ). But she seemed upset about something and invited my mom back to her place after finding out she was only a couple streets away grown where we were staying and I kept telling her not to, we didn’t know this lady. The lady got passive aggressive with me when I wouldn’t come inside her house so my mom drove me back and my brother decided to stay with me, then she headed back, when I woke up my mom was heading inside and she was covered in scratches and marks and she said the lady tried to rape her and that she came out of nowhere and was super strong, like body builder strong. My mom used to fight before she had kids so that’s how she got away but still she shouldn’t have gone.

I hadn't hit their car, they had chalked it while I was in a 7/11 - and I never would have stopped if the woman hadn't been there.

I said it before and I will say it again as a medical professional after all my years in the business I still look at some doctors and wonder what's really going on inside that brain I think in a small amount of cases some doctors are insane it's unfortunate we don't find out about it until they do something devastating the days of wanting to marry a doctor are over I would never marry a doctor I don't give a damn how much money he makes
Don't get me wrong I think vast majority of medical professionals are good & professional. But I too have begun to wonder about this myself, whether there may be a higher proportion of narcissism or psychopathy in doctor field as compared to other professions? I could be wrong or misperceiving it, but there are some high profile criminal cases that you seem to be referring to, taking place in doctor population that is much smaller than overall population (granted a number could be false accusations, but I am referring to the cases with strong evidence & found guilty) but yet it does still seem too many & particularly there seem to be a number of doctors that turn to grifting because they can actually make more money selling "supplements" or "miracle cures" or whatnot, despite "magical 'thinking'" & reliance on false "cures" can hurt or kill people no different than Elizabeth Holmes' fake "blood tests"... you'd think anyone who took the Hippocratic Oath would not engage in this kind of grifting behavior yet many do... I mean, this isn't just level 1 grifting where you do some kind of shell game & walk away with someone's money. but the grifting when done by "doctors" / involving people's health, that can be life or death. & anyone with actual medical training must certainly know this or be aware of the reality. so such behavior by someone who certainly knows the harm of one's actions implies a high, no limits level of absolute psychopathy. this is very concerning to think it's possible some percentage of doctors out there are like this. anyway, the concerns you mention, I've started to think more about this too, whether more narcissism or psychopathy or as you say insanity in certain professions, like doctor as you mention. What would you think explains what might be going on with a percentage of doctors?
