Asus ZenBeam L2 Smart Portable LED Projector is small enough to pack for a road trip and powerful enough to watch long movies! Buy it here: howl.me/cmEhojo38Di Via Amazon: amzn.to/3xSM8BH
I like this class of products! Like you, I coincidentally just purchased MY first projector. It's a different brand and model, though. It costs less than $100 goes only up to 720P resolution. A useful feature here is that it really sips electricity. Electricity in Hawai'i costs 2 to 3 times as much per kilowatt/hour as the mainland, so I do watch out for the electric consumption. I just put on my headless headphones, turn off the lights and make sure my $20 screen has no wrinkles in it. Then...I'm on Arrakis...or trying to avoid getting stomped on by Godzilla. A lot of entertainment value here. Mahalo for this review!
I have see an ad for it before and I would like to have this one or one like the LG CineBeam in it's class. But they are out of my price range. After seeing a few reviews including this one the price isn't bad, especially for it being portable and with a good built-in speaker system.
Please get a dedicated screen or painted wall, but hows the dB if the fan noise is significant? Some are as much as 55dB. I project to 60 inches because we don't have the room for something that big all the time but you can also get 80 inch roll away screens that don't hang from ceilings.
The fan noise isn't significant. The projectors internal speakers get loud enough for most settings. If you're using this outside or have an A/C or use it during a party, id recommend using external speakers
@@ShannonMorse DaVinci Resolve is free and is a good alternative to the Adobe. Else reinstall/factory reset Premiere. It could also be because of your editing process? Are your files stored locally or streamed in from a network/external drive? Its a long shot, but maybe it's because Premier can't stream the files fast enough? It's a bit weird because I'd expect a drop in video quality too, but I can't tell because of RUclips compression on a phone screen.
would have been nice to see this in a proper dark setting since its a projector, all the footage with it running was with the studio lights still on, albeit dimmed it seems.....
Thanks for the review. Seems like a cool device, but it's a bit overpriced for me. Great tech in it, but concerned about breaking it when using portable
My first impression is "you think THAT is a portable projector?" The one's I've traveled with for years are absolutely tiny compared to that thing. I am afraid I see absolutely nothing compelling about this device. Way too big to go in my travel kit, average specs overall and just nothing exciting.

Thanks for sharing. Nice projector. Blessings on your day.
I was looking at this at microcenter today. They have one left. I might get one tomorrow after watching your review of it now.

Something is off with the audio in this video
I was going to say the same. I know Shannon sometimes tests mics and wanted to provide the feedback. Seemed to face in and out at times
I don't know why my microphone does that. 🙄 It seems like an issue with premiere pro but I have no idea how to fix it.

Why not suggest some alternatives?
