The Figure is perfect But I am not a fan of this version of carnage It was not a good interpretarion of carnage both design wise and characterization wise
Love carnage but the movie carnage was way too big, carnage shouldn’t tower over anyone, especially venom. That being said I like the movie a lot just not the up scale on him. Great vid as usual ninja 🤘🏻🤘🏻
I thought the same thing when I opened mine. It's impressive, not $135 impressive, but also the back holes. Just an eyesore on an otherwise great figure.
Hands at the ends of the tendrils is sick beyond reason. I wish the inside joints were black. A movable jaw or a removable tongue would have been a plus, but I can't wait to get him together with my tall AF marvel select (D.S.E. with all the cool heads) Carnage which was basically the prototype for this fig. Plus He's become such a seething engine of evil he needs back vents like a Xenomorph warrior, so I don't mind the back holes.
Wow that's a lot of money for a figure. Gonna have to say the Marvel Select Carnage is the ultimate Carnage definitely from the comics, the Sony movie Carnage is weak. To get eaten by the Venom symbiote is just bad writing! Plus the Marvel Select is $29.99!
Nice... I was looking for a good Carnage at a reasonable price. I got the Marvel Dimond Select with the Cassady head. I was going get the S.H one, but wss looking for price. Maybe one day "IF" it goes on special. Awsome review. 👍😎💯
Thanks for the video Articulated Ninja. It would appear this product is destined to be the consummate Carnage for any collector. What is your perspective of spending premium dollars on a premium action figure knowing you won't have to update it for a long while?
I know you harp on the price, but god damn he puts legends to shame. I'd rather pay big to get a figure like this than to pay mid and get low tier like Hasbro puts out in comparison.
Man, I still can't believe they made a Ned figure, legit makes me want to make a CEO of Sex custom, cut that hair off, give him a bald ass head, stick him with my Amazons.
I dont like carnage being as big as venom. His comic look has almost always had him as smaller and more slender, like a normal human to help differentiate him from Eddy's huge frame.
6:38 that is maybe a stupid question to ask but where did you get that throne did you make it or did somebody make it or it's something I could buy or is it somebody who made and they are is sell it because I really like to get that throne but if this throne is something I can't buy that's okay but throne looks cool
yeah SHF tend to be pricey and from time to time they do have a hit or miss but lately they have been doing good i have this and the yamaguchi and they complement each other nice review though but price wise you should try figma their a heart attack but since they are the only one who make a large catalogue off anime stuff well you get the point again nice review till the next one
@@ArticulatedNinja before i thought revoltech would compete but no as for SHF they have the same if not more expensive price range the only good thing being close to china we get flooded with either over runs or "copy" for nearly a fraction of the price and i get them for replacement parts to harvest and custom fodder
Unfortunately I’ve got one with a lose in the waist. Used a little nail polish and that fixed it up real quick tho. Kinda sucks because it’s an expensive figure
Damn that's suck , is it like loose as in wobbly or does it pop off easily ? Maybe you can apply some joint tightener to fix it (kikis loose joint fixer) or look up on RUclips there's tons of vids to fix loose joints , not that you should have to at that price.
Nice review! The price is so muthafucking high, but the figure is a masterpiece. I'll never recovery financially from this purchase, but I'll take it. PD: you are the master of posing bro 😎
The price of this figure and the Venom figure made me pass on them. I’m not a big enough fan to buy either at that price, despite growing up and reading comics in that era.
The stuff you do in your videos is cool, appreciate the effort, but what I'd really like to touch on is what you covered in basically the 1st minute. "This figure is over priced, but it's good"(paraphrase). I think this is something that's missing in a lot of reviews. It's ok to say that a figure is overpriced and it's also ok to say that an overpriced figure is done well. I feel like too often we see things put in either the overpriced (so it sucks) bucket or the it's good (so it can't be over priced) bucket, but it should be looked at more like a ven diagram than buckets, they can overlap. Hopefully my kinda convoluted and poorly worded comment makes sense. And I hope you keep doing reviews, I appreciate your takes on stuff. I generally agree with your, but even when I don't you seem to have good reasons for your opinions or you don't have good opinions, but openly admit that.
Thanks I appreciate that and agree it can be both 2 things can be true at one time ofcourse and most collectors I watch don't view it that way. You worded everything well man thanks for taking the time to share those positive thoughts.
im going to say off the bat . this is a really nice figure. but im my mind he is way to big to be carnage . to me carnage is the same size as spiderman but it is the movie ver. now if they did a comic ver ill be all bout it . but the figure is nice . hey get you some kiki fix loose joints "yes that is the name . it will tighten them joints . and it does work.
Tbf, all of sh figurarts are expensive, but if anybody could make a better one it would probably be amazing Yamaguchi if they were to make a new figure.
I love anything carnage but man that price....after currency exchange and shipping plus import fees, this would be in 1/6 scale price territory and at that point I'd rather just buy a 1/6 figure with the money.
I would go with Furay Planet Veteran William. Much cheaper at around 100 bucks with shipping depending, and the figure is truly awesome in every way. I understand this is completely outta left field but hope it helps anyway. Have a good one
To be fair, the original price was $104 if converted to USD so BBTS basically jumped the price like they do with all of their imports which while understandable is still a major yicks. But regardless, it is still pricey with both prices either way and I would only pay around $80 to $90 for this at best. Thankfully, I only collect Kamen Rider when it comes to SHF even if that also still comes with some hurdles.
Is it taboo to say I don't like how companies are pricing some toys but at the same time I cannot judge a consumer for wanting a figure of much higher contrast? Yeah I have purchased some higher priced toys and thought ( wtf!?) But It all comes down to as long as you're happy amigo✨✨✨

one of the best figures of the year in 1/12 scale
The price tag is a small price to pay for endless enjoyment in my collection

I swear Sh figuarts wont stop making Spidey fans happy. 2023 has been crazy.

I didn't think I needed this figure but after watching your video it appears I now need to have tnis!
Great intro. Thanks for the review. Looks awesome

Great review my man👍🏽 Can I ask who makes that black skull chair you got Carnage sitting on in a couple of your shots??
I’m sure that’s the Mephisto chair from marvel select

Hey :) what is that throne that Carnage sits on ? Is that a custom ?
It does look really good but at $134+ a bit pricey.
It would of been cool if the figure included extra parts to give him a tendril-less back like the Venom figure did
Where’d you get that throne at?
It's a great figure but still the price is too much
I would love a SHF figuarts Riot figure. I wonder why they never made one.
Why would it have the wrap around head if it never happens in the movie?
