The “enabler” is a great idea, thanks

Hi Csongor. Have you tried this using Matter, I mean if you bridge to another platform e.g. Alexa or Smartthings, do these virtual switches show there?
I'll soon have my iHost delivered so I can try then, but I'm just asking if you know about or have tried this. Would be a powerful feature if this enables triggering on, or vice versa, being switched from, another platform.
    Regards

I have used Sonoff and compatible devices controlled by EWeLink scenes with the trigger sunset or sunrise for a few years now, times which the app controls automatically by knowing the location of the device. This means that the EWeLink capabilities for this trigger are not used in the IHost internal app or you just wanted to use Node-Red?

Yes, or at least now. Sunset and sunrise was not available in eWeLink for many years. iHost is a new product and it looks like it is not possible yet.

I know I am late to the party with this but whenever I turn the enabler back on, it fails to turn the big timer back on. No amount of tinkering will fix this. I noticed some of the options have changed in Node-Red so have replicated your flow as best as possible but I can not see what is wrong. Any chance of some help?

What I sometimes notice that the change device node forgets what device or action was selected. Please check that. Or the event node. Maybe add a debug after the event output to verify that the message is received in Node-Red.

Hello Csongor, Does iHost takes other device that are not made by Sonoff? I want to migrate to ewelink, i have invest on tuya zigbee device. I have a Sonoff zigbee hub

Yes, most of them will work. If Sonoff have a similar device (like temperature and humidity sensor, door sensor, motion sensor, switch, light bulb) it will most probably work, but other devices (like radiator valve, water leak sensor, etc.) will most probably not.

is this fully local, or does it need cloud or ewelink account?

iHost is fully local. iTead does not even provide an app, or access the iHost remotely. You need an eWeLink account if you want sync wifi devices. But for Zigbee it is all local.

In my attempt to create the virtual device in Node-RED, I encounter an issue. Despite selecting the 'Switch' category, the 'Power' capabilities are no longer available. Consequently, it fails to function properly.

What version of iHost and node-red component are you on? I did not look at this since this video, and I wonder if anything has changed...
