I know there are some updates, but I have not tested it yet. For Xiaomi, I am not sure. Maybe there is a Xiaomi integration with Node-Red and you can do it that way.

Yes, Sonoff iHost is only local at the moment. I think there will be some integration with Alexa/Google Home in some time.
