Watched your saturation 101 recently. With headphones....first time I heard sat very clearly so...thanks. Went immediately to my studio to check out some of my various saturation options. I was very impressed with the saturation in the Schepps Omni channel strip
Dude im sitting here with 12 songs i recorded during the covid19 lockdown. Everytime im about to convice myself im done mixing them i stumbe upon one of your videos...
Hello Chris, thank you for your new video. Regarding filtering, you put the filter before the saturation and this way the low frequencies are removed from the beginning. I guess it is worth to experiment with the filter after saturation, too. In this case the low frequencies can generate harmonics when the saturation kicks in. After that the lows are filtered and their harmonics are kept. If that is good for vocals I have no idea, though 😺
Thank you so much Chris for all this presentation its wonderful Could you please make an episode and explain to us the right and effective way to record rhythm or sound from keyboard like korg pa 4x or whatever you suggest and get the sound as close as Library sound Quality and clarity thank you so much again

😂😂 At some point, if your mixes sound good and feel good, it's time to Bounce and Release 😉
@@mixdownonline i know... I know. 😬
😂😂😂😂
It’s on here ages ago that I saw something the quote is “ You never finish a mix …you just stop mixing “ 😀
It’s a must to have a community of people who can at least provide feedback, isolation is a great deterrent 😢😂

Great video, thanks! Only question - are you still on Windows ? If so, how are you satisfied ?
Yes I am! And yes, I'm still satisfied. I actually like both, Win and Mac
Hi Chris tnks for Tips, Which Cubase version are you using?
Cubase Pro 12
From Rwanda
Brother
Then i use grove agent or hellion sonic my window pc crash hang problem
Pc has I5 4th generation 8/GB ram
I'm using cubase 10
8/GB ram seems a bit low, I have to say. Still workable, but with limitations
does anyone remember Karlette?
Nop!
@@mixdownonline that was a quad tape delay in cubase vst pretty fantastic an nice saturation as well. Your use of Echoboy reminded me of it
I remember it from the 90's when I was working then with Cubasis VST.
@@sunpointstudio4472 oh, in the nineties Chris was still a little child.
Just get some analog gear
I have some, and Analog gear is not a miracle mixing pill, talent is.
quebec accent spotted lol
😅😅😅 Hard to hide 😂😂
