Nah, they aren't underrated. I own both of their albums and this, Border on Border, Family Tongues, and Colored Emotions are their only accessible songs. Everything else is super country music and ok but not the best.

Isn't it "Ohh you've been around, ohh you've seen". Using "all" just doesn't make sense.
It's especially clear the 3rd time it's sung in the live version (around 3:13) because you can see his mouth as he sings it. Definitely saying all, not oh. But it is less apparent in the first couple of times. Maybe some are "Oh"s
For the live version I posted the lyrics with that "well" you mention. It's clearly not in the radio version. I agree with you both that it sounds a lot like "oooh" in the radio version. Guess we'll have to find out from the lyricist himself.

My daughter and son in law had this on a Playlist today, Thanksgiving 2021, and I was like who is this? Yeah....was pleasantly pleased. We just saw a show at the Vogue in Broad Ripple last night so we're on the same page musically. They keep me young, even though I see this about 5 years old. It reminded me slightly of Ship of Fools by World Party, back in the late 80s or early 90s.
