He joined the group The Kingsmen when he was 16 and while with them played a guest performance with a group called The Gems; the site: "Glory Road Teddy Huffam and the Gems w/Introduction". My wife and I would go over to my mother in law's home for dinner on occasion. She would usually have these videos playing. My Mother in law is now in Heaven. I am sure she must be listening to the gospel singers who have passed.

I had just regained consciousness after an anurism. The son What A Lovely Name was originally written in Flemish and translated into English by my mother. I gave the copyright to Howard Goodman.

I wrote What A Lovely Name in May of 1970. I was severely abused by my step grandfather and had to be hospitalized for brain bleeding. I sang this song 🎵 in Flemish to comfort myself. My mother translated it into English. Vestal Goodman is my mother's aunt and when the Goodmans came to visit I gave them the copyright ©️. God healed me and restored my mind to normal. Praise His holy Name!
