Five years later in the same month my youngest son was killed. I would sit and watch The Trio on VHS with him. I miss them both and I will see them again.

Andrew Pernia You are correct! Anthony Burger was an amazing talent, not only as a musician, but he had an awesome baritone voice to sing with. He overcame many obstacles during his short life, to achieve what he was able to accomplish. I really feel like he was a child of God and He is now at rest.

unfortunately Kirk was diagnosed with abductor spasmodic dysphonia in 2010, it affects his ability to sing which is heartbreaking, he had a beautiful voice and was especially good with these two guys.

Our faith allows us that freedom to ask and also comforts us in knowing God knows the beginning from the end and what will bring glory to Him in each and every situation. Parker and I co-wrote I Am His And He Is Mine on January 13, 1973 as we sat in the airport in Haifa waiting for our return flight to the United States. The first verse and chorus were written by me in Flemish and the second verse was written by Ivan C. Parker in Italian. We worked on the translation into English as we flew home.
