Ah the ol' coolant leaks on the beemers. Germany requires a certain percentage of their car parts to be recyclable, and unfortunately they choose to make the system that handles all that heat out of the recyclable plastic 🙃 Honestly man just rip out the whole thing and replace as much as you can with actual metal parts. Most folks redo the coolant system around 150k miles. I did the whole thing on my 330 including the thermostat and fan clutch and that sorted everything out. Cool recap of the year!
