Not sure if this is on every wix user though, but on mine I had to go and find the editor x templates. I searched for that in the template section of wix in the dashboard area! I don't think I like editor x as much as I did the editor before ( velo ) It's not a BEAUTIFUL template like a lot of those that we had before! I hope we can pick and choose!

What is the video format, codes, bit rate, size and so on to work best with WIX? 2. What video format when using a alpha channel? 3. Can you layer multiple full screen/BG video with alpha over a BG layer and have then all play at the same time? 4. Can a video when it finishes playing be replaced with another video automatically without a visible jump or glitch if both videos end and start with the same image and in the same position onto page? Or can a video play to a frame and stop and then start up again with a click? 5. Can a video start to play without a visible play button, just with a click? 6. Can you animate the scale and position of a video or still with a click, not a hover. Thank you.

I've been working on an editor X site and the main "bug" I guess that I've noticed is with the dataset icons. Some of them on some pages have been disappearing entirely (but the data is still connected, there is just no way to edit its properties anymore) and on a few pages I tried to add a new dataset multiple times and nothing seemingly happened. But if I chose an element to connect it would show all these unassigned phantom greyed out datasets in the dropdown but they cannot be seen on the editor page as icons, so I can't assign them nor remove them... The safest way to add extra datasets seemingly is to duplicate an existing one and then edit its properties instead. At this point I really don't get why they don't get rid of the dataset icons idea all together, they get in the way (on both editor and x) and with this new streamlined look Wix should just add it into the database section or as its own section on the top menu (there's loads of dead space to be used) where the datasets would show up like Masters or Layers as a side panel so you can easily see and edit them from there rather than using these annoying unwieldy buggy dataset icons that cause so many problems and don't really serve any purpose (especially in X) other than to get in the way on top of the page canvas and be very intrusive to the overall editing experience. Other than that and teething problems with the relationships between grid proportions, element proportions and stacking not always playing well together I've been getting used to X and can see it being a really great tool! I think in a few more months or so I'll find it really hard to go back to the classic editor! :)
Awesome video man. Just a quick question about Edotor X SEO… Wix seems to get a real bad wrap from web developers, has Editor X addressed these so called SEO issues/limitations?

I played with the editor x in the beta programme and was quite disappointed by the limited functionalities. IIRC only basic static non-dynamic pages were possible to make, no option for dynamic pages and dynamic elements - ie for me useless as I don't like maintaining static pages

Excellent tutorials. I'm an artist and I want to create a better dynamic portfolio that allows the viewer to enlarge each portfolio iimage on mouse-over or mouse-click if necessary for iOS. Enlarged image would appear in its own background with type using same background color, but isolating image so that it appears centered on page. Either mouse-click back to master portfolio or mouse-hover-off. Any suggestions for customizing an art portfolio would be most appreciated. Currently there seems to be little flexibility for tsatisfactory customization in Wix. As an artist/designer I want better creative design tools.
Can you guys recommend someone to coach us on a new Editor X site development a) Design, b) Functionality and c) SEO. Coach like train, on the job as we want to be able to develop this further ourselves....

There is certainly more of a learning curve than the traditional editor, however, Editor X is certainly responsive and that’s the way of the world at the moment (which won’t likely change).

HAS ANYBODY HAD ISSUES WITH RESIZING BETWEEN BREAKPOINTS. IVE MADE THEM FLUID, DOCKED VIDEOS RIGHT, KEPT TEXT AND PICS INSIDE CONTAINERS BUT THEN I LOOK AT IPHONE AND LAP TOP, WHAT IS SEEN ON X EDITOR DOES NOT TRANSFER TO ACTUAL DEVICES.
Make sure that fluid is set to percentage and not a different field of value and note that breakpoints and viewport sizes and not equivalent to the resolution dimension. Lastly, don't get expectations too high as Editor X isn't perfect and not everything works correctly.

It would be useful to learn about additional specific tools or effects that are new to Editor X and are not available on the standard editor.
Is this include with premium? Will I have to upgrade eventually when Beta is done? Will my site merge easily and not mess it up?
