@@nerissalewis3856 It works on Ea too, ive seen quite a few on EA. You just do the same thing except just use Ea, instead of Origin.
omg ... IVE BEEN TRYING EVERY TUTORIAL FOR 5 DAYS AND GUYS IVE FIGURED IT OUT!!!! so my issue was it said "download to use" and I did everything right EVERYTHING. turns out you have to put all your mods and cc into a separate file and drag it out of the mods folder then run the game and your packs will be there to play with cc just leave the game and add your folder back into mods
What if y haven’t downloaded any mods or cc and it says download to use ?
@@JasmineBlairr delete the file called “sims 4 pack” but don’t delete the dlc packs you downloaded then go to origin and “right click” idk what to call it on mac it should say “repair” press that it’ll redownload your new sims 4 packs file add the DLC’s to that file and it should work

Check if you gave your full disc access to your terminal. Watch the end bit of the video to see how to do it!

When I try to press copy on any of the zip files it says, “Error: User rate limit exceeded”. I closed all my tabs and tried again, but it still said the same thing. Do you know if I’m doing something wrong?

not sure if this will work for everyone, but when you get to the part where you put ur ep #3 (or whatever number it is) instead of putting it into the sims 4 packs folder, put it in your mods folder.

Thank you so much for posting this! I did everything and still couldn’t get the packs to work but your part at the end in settings was what I needed!!! Also just a tip you don’t need to select and redownload all the packs again just rerun the terminal commands and it will work!!
Is not working for me, When I tried to use Origin, it forced me to use EA App, and in the Terminal when I chose option 2, I got the error message "Couldn't find entitlement files, you were supposed to start the game". I don't know what to do. I really need it to work. HEEELP !! :(

so i’ve done all of the steps, did everything right, even got the “you’ll be notified when your pack is downloaded” thing but my packs aren’t actually in game if that makes sense. all of the packs and kits say already owned but they don’t show up in the saves i used them in
I had the exact same problem so when you go to sims 4 packs click on whatever pack you have and it has the EP01 or whatever but tap on it until you find worlds then click areas then move all the files next to the world file if that makes sense and also make sure you never quit the application because the worlds will go away but you only have to do the terminal steps then they’ll be back but whatever progress you have will be deleted but after you download you won’t have to do everything over again

1.tap onto whatever file you have it should say EP01 or looks similar to this
2.tap worlds then tap on areas then there should be a set of files that includes all the add ons
3. Take all of those files and transfer them next to the world file even though it’s a lot I had to take them one by one
And if you still don’t understand I can send you a video through insta DM or something like that

I’ve tried to reinstall origin, the problem is when you need to quit, because when you have to enter again to start playing it automatically make you use ea, if you never close origin maybe it could work

I have a problem with the DLC Unlocker, I do all the steps and it says "No such file or directory Couldn't find entitlement files, you were supposed to start the game!" and I did start the game and EA app (it was online) and then I closed it. I've tried doing this process in different ways and it never works :(. I have a Mac, the original game and the EA app and I downloaded the version 1.
there's are updated instructions on anadius's website above the original instructions for mac, just follow those

You need to repeat the process!
honestly all i did was download the packs and drag them, what i will say is dont download multiple at once, do one at a time and don’t do too many at a time either i kinda split mine into hours

I'm not really sure this is out of my current knowledge.
it could be becuase of where the file is being saved...if you have icloud sometimes it tries to save the files there which EA(origin) cannot access look in your documents in your cloud and move them to your regular drive!

Yes, open system settings and click on privacy & security, scroll down until you see security > allow applications downloaded from, click appstore and identified developers. That should work! Hope you have fun with your packs!

Hey! So I was able to do everything and it shows that I own everything when I’m offline, but it keeps telling me I have to download the packs to use them, but I can’t do it when I’m online in origin. Has anybody else had this problem and solved it?

I just had this problem and solved it. Make sure that the packs you put in the “the sims 4 packs” folder are in the folder with the right user. To do that you’re going to go in application search “user”. Click on the folder w an icon on it then click on “application”then “the sims 4 packs” if its empty that means you had put your packs in the wrong folder and put them in that one instead.

everything went smoothly, but every time i go to play they say that the pack is required for me to play the game as in the one where i downloaded, in this case the vampire pack... they tell me i need to buy it, if anyone could help on this issue...

heyy so i've had this issue in the 'add fake entitlement" command thing, so ive already reopened and quit both sims 4 and origin, but it still thinks my origin is still opened and all it says is "origin is still running, waiting 5 seconds before checking again." how do i fix this??
Try force quitting it like at the top left hand corner click the apple logo and click force quit to quit origin and for the sims for use command+q

Hi, sorry to hear that! have you given full hard disc access to terminal? If you haven't, try the whole thing again with the access to the terminal. If you don't know how to turn on full hard disc to terminal, watch the clip in the end of the video, I show how you do it!.

Maybe you didn't went offline, do the add fake entitlements thingy again and there you go. Just make sure you always go offline before getting in, that should work

hello, i'm having an error with the drive storage when I select which pack to get, please help asap.
for some reason, i only had 1.01GB on the website (tutorial had 10.97GB) so couldn't download anything.

Hi, what type of macbook do you use? Also have you given full disc access?
if you haven't try the process again with full disc access, I'm pretty sure it will work. If not, try watch the video throughly and follow each step. I hope this helps ☺.

do you need to go offline everytime you log back in to the game, because i went online and all my packs were gone after getting them.
Yes, you have to go offline every time you enter, but you can turn it online once you're in the app to access the library

Just create one. For me, I go to electronic arts, and there there is a Sims 4 organic folder, just create a folder called "The Sims 4 Packs" and put it inside the Sims 4 folder, and there you go, it works just fine
