@@itsgbi alright i tested the round pool with the fountain thing and it does work, you have to make sure the fountain is the right level tho, raise it up until it's just over the surface, then it works, if it's higher than that it doesn't

This is next level creativity.
They updated the game and changed some features, like the foundation used on the first pool to make it transparent was updated, but it’s still there under a different name.
It seems to be titled Foundation_GENshell placeholder name and it’s the only solid grey square in the base game foundation list. If you filter for only base game you should be able to find it. I don’t know if it was renamed or if the creator of this video had her game set to a different language (it’s a name made up for game developers to catalogue items, so it’s sort of nonsense to everyone else in any language; just looks different).
Unfortunately, it didn’t work for me, but that is probably because I built a custom indoor infinity pool on the second floor. Since it’s not on the ground, it’s not technically a room to which a foundation can be applied, so for this technique, at least it seems not to work. That doesn’t necessarily mean it won’t work for you.

Это не реально сделать, я строю по несколько дней и по сто раз все перестраиваю. Даже не знаю возможно ли это так смонтировать чтобы это можно было нормально смотреть)

@@SIMSTOPIA А всё, начал шарить, ты снимаешь стоп мотионы. Спидбилды удобней, хотя ты уже сказала что по 1001 раз всё перестраиваешь. Ну сетка нужна, тем более если монтаж не просто ведёшь стенку, а как расширяющияся комната.

I’m glad these are actually useable too, would have been boring if they were only decorational.
1:40 You don't have to draw a fence around the pool just to apply foundation to the pool edges. Hold down Shift to apply foundation to one side at a time. :)

I think shift applies it to a room, and alt applies it to a wall. I'm not 100% certain though.

This is so soothing and satisfying to watch...
I love these because most famous simmers complain they don't have 'enough things to build with', but they never make use of the debug menu or other things available to them and their builds end up being so damn boring. Always the same shaped houses and colors. It's refreshing to see builders like Simstopia and Schnuck push the bar! =)

Builds like these blow my mind. I wish i could build stuff in the sims that actually looks realistic. I mean obviously i could if i follow these tutorials but i wish my mind could come up with stuff on its own. Every house i make just looks so flat and like the textures dont go together, I usually build traditional looking houses but i think the sims is made for more modern designs cause they look the best in the game. Im just so unfamiliar with modern architecture and decor 😓
