The internet is pretty freaking cool and it has opened up opportunities to do creative things, share them with a larger audience than ever before, and even make money doing those creative things. This is my experience with making money through photography, blogging, and freelancing.
Before I started RUclips I didn't really understand HOW RUclipsrs actually made money so being the data nerd I am, I prepared some numbers and bar graphs and pie charts to shed some light on how all this works.
The purpose of this video is to inspire you to create something of your own. You don't have to have a "passion" yet, just pursue whatever interests you and see where it takes you. At the very least, you'll pick up some skills, and maybe you'll even be able to design your own career. I always say if I could give any advice to my younger self I would say "start RUclips earlier!!! stop procrastinating or telling yourself you're not good enough and just start!!"

There is space for everyone in any area of field. There is no need to hold in knowledge for a fear of others excelling, also no one does it the way you do... I’m glad that you acknowledged that comment in the beginning to kick off your vid. You’re such a light✨🥰
I think it's pretty cool that you're always sharing your knowledge, I don't see a point in making your knowledge some sort of "industry secret". If someone has the patience and passion for a craft they will use this knowledge for good, and if not, it's literally not harming anyone. You're not creating more competition for these already established photographers, you are simply helping people who were already on their way to becoming photographers, because if they weren't on their way there they wouldn't practice these tips with time and patience in the first place. Knowledge doesn't increase in value when it's hidden, and only revealed to a select few. It's not like aging wine. It should be accessible, and people who are smart and creative will make something new out of it. Thank you for sharing so passionately Bliss Bean!
THIS!!!! i feel like so many youtubers gate keep because they want to claim their aesthetic and not be open about it to help other smaller creators. this is the first youtuber who tells all her youtube "secrets" ie. money she makes, how she edits, etc.
Love that you shut down the perception that we need to conceal our methods to get an edge on the competition. Equal access to information/opportunities makes the community better. Hoarding industry secrets seems like a way to compensate for a lack of new ideas.

I am literally am so excited to take notes for once! Growing as a content creator can be difficult, especially staying up to date with a certain social media platform. I completely agree with the concept of community over competition especially here on RUclips. I see this platform as discussion between creator and viewer, the money just being a nice added bonus if you are lucky enough to get to that stage :)

Hi Bea, I noticed you don't have ads on your blog...so how do you make $$ on there (besides offering the digital products).
I'm still learning too about this whole youtube thing. I think in the long run, getting paid $1000 or less is 'little' for a sponsorship. Maybe you need a certain number of subscribers and it depends on what you are sponsoring. But I have come across other youtubers who say that they ask for a minimum of $5000 for a sponsorship deal. Just wanted to throw that out!
