If someone I had only been on one date with showed up uninvited to my grandfather's funeral hundreds of miles away, I wouldnt think that was sweet at all. I'd be terrified.
@@mrod87 I can understand though because I'm sure she was in a vulnerable position with her grandfather just passing and he preyed on that. 😔 it's some monster level stuff.
imagine being pissed that you have a rich wife... when I was a kid, my mom worked and my dad stayed home and took care of me, my sibling, and the neighbourhood kids. He never acted like it emasculated him, because it didn't. He wasn't the 'mom', he was a dad, and the best dad in the world (I may be slightly biased). Don't be like Stephen. Be like Brian.
I grew up poor but my parents have kind of switched off being the “breadwinner” now they’re doing really good because my mom ended up with a PhD and they both stayed above water and happy the whole time
If mothers who work don't love their children because they're not staying home with them all the time, does that mean fathers who work don't love their children either? Of course not, because that's ridiculous. People with this mindset need to get over themselves.
I remember this case. It was all over the news here in Michigan. My mom said he looked guilty as hell. When he was convicted my mom shook her head saying "There are times I hate being right. This is one of them." She felt so bad for the kids, as she was a teacher (retired after 43 years)
It’s pretty satisfying irony how Steven claimed that he did more for their kids than Tara did, yet those same kids continue to love and honor their late mother for a good cause while most likely wanting nothing to do with their dad after he destroyed their family.
Tony Todt also tried to make it seem like he was the primary household caretaker - when he was only with the family on weekends, and there’s indication he stayed separately at a condo even then.
The fact he got mad at her and started accusing her of an affair reminds me of an abusive relationship I was in.. I always knew when he was doing something wrong because he would accuse me of it..
My best friend lived right next door to them for years. And Stephen was never friendly. They always thought something was off in that house. I haven’t seen anyone do this case yet but this was HUGE in our town. We never thought anything like that could happen in our small town. Turns out there’s scary people everywhere. Thanks for sharing this one 🙏🏻
@@JSMNmann idk what that one is but I want to know now lol! I’m around there and have never heard of any murders in the area😳 when was the case you remember?
Small town? Sterling Heights isn’t small but I totally get what you’re saying. You don’t hear about things like that happening there (especially of all places!). Maybe in the sketchy part of Shelby or warren or Roseville but not Sterling Heights lol . (Teasing about Shelby and warren though).
@@rachell6296 the Stephen grant murder actually took place in Washington township. Which is QUITE tiny haha. And yeah Sterling Heights is huge. They probably didn’t disclose the correct address in the articles she was reading to do the video
His comment "after I dropped her I definitely knew she was dead" makes me feel like he didn't use the belt to move her from the bedroom to the garage because he couldn't carry her but rather making sure she was dead for sure. He is one sick and twisted man.
I did not know Tara personally, however I know someone that worked with her. This case shocked everyone. All I can say is that she was an absolutely wonderful person and did not deserve what happened to her.
I like how he asked her to marry him at her graduation ceremony, (because his manipulative traveling hundreds of miles to attend the funeral when she, a normal human being, would be vulnerable and susceptible and perceive this narcissism as concern and good heartedness), because there is no way she could have her very own thing going that day, her very own reveling in this important personal accomplishment. Nah. He's gotta steal that thunder, too.
Ugh, you are so right! I thought the same. And the voicemail after he unalived her really had me seeing red. He played the victim from the very start, "You owe me and the kids an explanation." I can't with him and his creepy crazy eyes.
Especially Hope you were able to leave, if not, I support you one hundred percent, it can be so hard not to believe death threats... And give up on the amazingly well thought out fake facade he made you fall madly in love with him
The interview in the beginning of him "crying" made me cringe 🙄 arrogant jerks like him really do believe they're smarter than everyone else. Cant wait for this one! Happy Valentine's Day Danielle!!❤❤
I just looked at his face and thought “ew”. He’s just so fucking fake. I’m typing this now while the video is paused on him crying again because I couldn’t stand it.
Narcissists can only 'think' like they do. So if he questions you on YOUR affair, it's because he has no concept of fidelity ( he's cheating on you) he thinks everyone acts/behaves as he does and he's always above everyone else
right this is why that whole “i’m a nice guy but women don’t like nice guys” doesn’t sit right with me cause it’s giving “woman should throw themselves at me because i treat them with basic respect”
@@barbiele4339For once, I agree. People forget though, that applies to BOTH parties. Which is why people need to be safe, smart, choose wisely and be more realistic about life and their journey, ya know? That's all.🙏
@@massivel I mean, hey. This is planet Earth, not a Disney fairytale. People focus too much on what can be ideal instead of what's real. All I'm saying.
Out of all these stories. When you said “unfortunately” and began to speak about what happened to her, I vocally said, “no.” I really loved Tara without truly knowing her and I think that probably speaks of how loved and loving she was. It also shows how great of an informer/storyteller you are Danielle 🥰
This happened really close to me. In fact, Steven's shop was very close to my family's business and he had an account with us. I interacted only a few times with Steven when he would come into our store. My Mom, without thinking, went to an estate sale shortly after Steven was convicted only to realize it was their home. My Mom couldn't walk by the staircase without feeling sick and seeing all the kids bedrooms brought tears to her eyes.
I’ve lived in this area my whole 26 years of life and I never heard of this case, why didn’t anyone tell me?!? I have friends that live 2 mins from that park!
@@Pandcake123 Did you hear about the child murders back in the early 70's. The murder threw one of the little girls bodies right on the side of the road at 16 mile and 75. No one saw a thing. Don't think they ever caught the guy.
Imagine thinking that the normal reaction when your wife is missing is to say “you owe us an explanation” and not “where are you I’m worried sick.” Dude couldn’t even *pretend* to be a normal husband who cares about the mother of his children even when his freedom depends on it 🙄
I can't even imagine how his father felt - knowing his son not only murdered his wife, but used his father's shop to cut up her body. That must have torn his father up.
The way your face lit up when you said Tara’s sister raised them and all that they do for their mother shows how much you really care. It definitely put a smile on my face and a tear in my eye 🥹
We’ve had a crazy ‘husband-killing-wife’ story here in Russia recently. A guy killed his wife end of summer or beginning of autumn 2021 and than he pretended for almost 6 months that she left him and went on a long trip abroad. He posted on her social media, occasionally sent massages to her friends and family. At some point he posted that she traveled from the UAE to South Africa and than she stopped posting and contacting people as if something happened to her in South Africa. During that time he also sent his daughter to live with his wife’s mum claiming that it was too hard for him to take care of a small child. So in January 2022 his wife’s family started putting pressure on him to report her missing. He wrote to a Russian Embassy in South Africa and they told him to go to the police in Russia. And he did. Very soon the police found out that she actually never left Russia and that her phone that she allegedly posted and texted from pinned at her house in Russia all the time that she was gone. The police arrested him and he confessed. But because it’s winter now and there’s a lot of snow everywhere they couldn’t find her body at first. So he took his confession back claiming that the police made him confess. But than after several days of extensive search they found her remains were he initially said he buried her. So he had to admit that him initial confession was true.
Omg as if he did all of that. I have read some horrid crime stories that have happenend in your neck of the woods. And oh my gosh some has sickened me. X
An Au Pair is usually hired for a year...so if they went through seven of them, I suspect he may have hit on these young women and they left prematurely because they felt harassed. He was probably just bragging about something that didn't happen (at Buffalo Wild Wings).
Stoney Creek is a beautiful park. It's huge with multiple beaches, trails, trees and woodland to hike in. I was 21 during this case and it was awful to not feel safe going to one of my favorite places to relax. This guy was a creep and a monster. My heart goes out to Tara's children and family.
I remember this case... He was even passing notes and talking to women in Macomb County Jail. One of them actually killed her kids and the pets they had. There is way more to this case like how he was trying to have the kids live with his sister instead of Tara's parents. The phone conversations he would have with his sister while he was in jail were horrible. The book "Blood in the Snow" is about this case and gives way more detail. He is a horrible human being. Also he was known for that deer in headlights look.
Proposing at her graduation ceremony already tells me he wanted to make that day about him and not about her and her success. That's a red flag right there and not sweet at all
My dad died unexpectedly last Saturday... It's been a wild and painful week and it still hurts like hell, even more so after the funeral. When pink eyeshadow is done right it looks great...Danielle is a perfect example of that...she nailed pink eyeshadow and it looks fantastic especially with her pink sweatshirt.
It's so rare that these cases have some-what happy endings. I think that Tara's Walk is an incredible thing to honor her and support stopping domestic violence.
For years, I made more than my husband. I once asked him how he felt about that. He was soo supportive. He said, "You go for it." We both had the attitude of *we* are making the money, we supported each other....through lay-offs, etc. (Most of the time, he made more than me, but we were fairly close most of the time.)
Congratulations 👏🎉. But that's an an anomaly. A rare exception to the rule. Not the money most men are concerned about. Just the TRAITS themselves. You're more than likely old school, but even then, it's been proven throughout human history a king can meet a peasant and give her the title of a queen, but a queen isn't looking a peasant's way. Just saying. Just in case you were curious as to why most , maybe not all, but most guys in general want to be the breadwinner as they should because they're gonna have to ANYWAY. But congrats 🎉🎉 I salute
This irritates me SO MUCH because I use to be in a situation where I made more money than my ex, I NEVER rubbed it in his face, but he demanded complete control over every dollar I spent until he made his way up in his company and he was the one making more money. Then he kicked me out of my own house and reported my car stolen to try to get me arrested. What an insecure ass.
@@2degucitas he was probably hoping the police wouldn’t do their research and they would just throw her in a holding cell while he could do whatever he wanted to do in her house.
I never understood who raises people to be such pieces of sh*t. Also, economic abuse is so common it almost seems normal in many places. People don't even question it. Good riddance to that guy, I hope you're doing well now

Being a trophy husband is the dream. I totally understand wanting to work and provide just as much as your spouse, for your kids and one another, but it’s absolutely ridiculous to envy and bitterly resent them for it. Such a weird thing to be mad about
One correction, Danielle. Stephen told the police he was just walking the dog, so they let him go do that. He walked to a friend's house instead and borrowed the friend's vehicle. That's how he made his escape.
That and they had a search warrant for the house and not an arrest warrant for him, so they couldn't hold him. They had to find the evidence for probable cause first to arrest him.
@@InteriorDesignStudent Ikr. They were probably looking for blood or indications of a fight that had happened...finding a decomposing torso in a storage bin 🤢
Him showing up at her grandfathers funeral was purely predatory. Manipulators know to move quickly and love making their move during moments of vulnerability. Tara like most people who haven’t dealt with a manipulative abuser, would’ve thought it was a caring gesture. Having been with an abusive narcissist myself, it is clear he found out early on that she was financially successful and well connected and did his best to attach to her. Even when he succeeded in securing her as a beneficial source of supply, it wasn’t enough because the very success that attracts people like him, is what causes extreme envy in a narcissistic person. She was damned from the start.
I’m glad my father drilled a ton of street smarts into me, if that happened to me I’d have told my brother and father and he’d be dm politely asked to leave and make no return. That freak me out!!!! Sorry.
I'm from the Metro Detroit area and this was so shocking when this happened. He makes me sick. Stoney Creek is a big park with woods, trails, lake, beaches. I haven't gone there since this case happened...it creeps me out too much.
The 4 minute strangulation is an eternity. Like Danielle said, he had to have known it would cause her death. The thing that got me too though is the T-Shirt. He had the presence of mind to cover her face because he couldn't handle looking at her so he had the presence of mind and 4 whole minutes of opportunity to change his mind and stop.
“You’re a mom, you should have to stay home with the kids.” Ummm… sir… I’m not really sure if you know this but…. YOU’RE A DAMN FATHER. Your children are a priority!! …sorry y’all, that went right through me 😅😂 and lastly I want to say, Rest In Peace Tara and my condolences to her family ❤️
That media appearance he did was so bad, what a terrible actor! It's always when they go on TV that they show themselves as the prime suspect, because no one ever gives a genuine enough act to get away with it. Police and media are used to seeing people lying like this, it's so painfully obvious. Murderers are rarely as clever as they think they are 🙄
I make 4x what my husband makes and I don’t make him feel bad for it and he champions my successes. If I married for money I’d have married my last boyfriend, who was nice but not the love of my life like my hubby. A man being the major breadwinner is SOOOOO out dated. If Stephen made lots of money he would still be a creep and he would’ve been worse to Tara and probably still killed her.
Wow this was a horrible story. I can’t diagnose anyone and these days the word “narcissist” is thrown around a lot but if I had to guess that’s what we are looking at here. Sounds like he had a nice, loyal and hard working woman who didn’t mind earning the money and let him stay home. He wanted to have his cake and eat it too. I feel horrible for those poor kids. I hope they are doing ok. Great video Danielle! That pink look was amazing.
I think we only feel like SO many people are Narcissists because we watch a lot of True Crime though and unfortunately Narcissistic Injury can act as an intense fuel for awful acts. Everything is a spectrum, Narcissism included, and we're all on that spectrum - the only difference is severity. There seems to be no EXACT threshold to qualify as having Narcissistic Personality Disorder (the frustrating beauty of Psychology, haha), but if someone's narcissism is a hindrance to their (*or more often observably to those around them's) life, then it's pretty safe to say they've earned the title of Narcissist.👑
I worked in a domestic violence shelter for 2 years as a children's specialist and music therapist. We partook in Tara's walk, and knew of the campaign, even though I'm in Arizona and it originated in Michigan. Their impact and work is pretty well known in the DV Advocate community! Love your honor to the innocent and your storytelling! 💕
SCREAMING THAT YOU COVERED THIS!!! I've been dying to hear someone tell this story because it was the first true crime story that really hooked me growing up- especially bc I was watching it unfold in real time. It happened a few miles away from where I grew up so it was absolutely WILD to recognize all the places this story took place at. I remember watching his horribly awkward news interviews (which 14 yr old me found VERY SUSPISH) as well as the man hunt. As far as Stony Creek Park goes, it's fairly large and has a lot of densely wooded areas. I highly doubt anyone would be hanging around the area he accidentally dumped her body at, esp during a cold Michigan winter! Anyway, Stephen is a total garbage human. I'm so happy to hear that their children seem to be doing alright and have been speaking out on domestic violence.
So many narcissists pretend to cry, but can't manage a single tear. Like, I cry at freakin' commercials where dads drop their kids off at their first day of school . . . how can you not manage ONE TEAR???
If he didn't intend to kill her, he could have used the time it took to realize he didn't want to look into her eyes while he strangled her and grabbed the t-shirt and put it over her eyes (which I think would be a moment of clarity if we are to believe he snapped) and...let her go instead.
Flying is exhausting she really sounds like she loved her kids a lot doing that every week and with how much people were concerned when she stopped talking, it sounds like she cared a lot for people
Many of us. Why don't these people seek help, when it's as close to the therapist as they are... I'll never understand. This guy is a textbook narcissist. And I'm dealing with one such who's stalking my disabled ass. They really think love bombing works, holy crap are they delusional.🤦

So so so happy to see you on a wet a miserable Sunday. I love how you tell your story with so much respect for anyone involved and how you give every story all you have. Such a lovely and kind hearted person ❤️
Love bombing can also be especially insidious for people who already grew up in abusive homes or with parents/care-givers who never showed them what an adequate amount of love is supposed to look like. So they may not be able to recognize this as a red-flag later in life 😔
I was an Au Pair, so yeah, they're kind of like live-in nannys. The mostly have no formal childcare education but have experiences and get a crash course upon arrival. Au Pairs are hired for a year with a 13month special student visa, the 13th month is often used for travel. The host families (they're not called employers) are required to provide room and board, pay two or three (community) college courses and a weekly stipend (in my time in 2000/2001 it was 150$/week). The Au Pair was in turn required 45h/week of childcare and participating in reasonable household chores like keep the kitchen/kids room/playroom clean/tidy, doing the laundry. The hours were completely up to the family, they only had to ensure you could go to your class. But some Au pairs I know who took care of school children had to care for them in the morning: get them up, make breakfast, get them dressed and ready for school, take them to school or to the school bus, then had several hours of "free time" and then continue caring for the children, homework, dinner etc. after school. Some were treated more like family members, some more like the help. Seeing as all Au pairs are young (you have to be between 18 and 28), often pretty girls, yes, there is some fetishizing going on. I was at one time hit on by the dad and I know of others with similar experiences. I mean, think about it: you have these family men in best midlife crisis age and then you have young, pretty women. Some of whom are quite impressionable. It's often their first time away from home, on their own two feet. It can be quite flattering in that situation to have an older man seemingly seeing you as an "equal".
Thank you for that info! I’ve always wondered how the au pair situation works. I hope your experience was all you hoped it would be. Definitely sounds like a great opportunity to travel abroad, learn about a different culture, and get an education.
I'm so happy your success has grown so big so fast. U absolutely deserve it. If everyone on social media was like you I think societys overall mental health would be so much better. It happened a few years ago at Humboldt State University and everyone knows who committed the crime, but he’s free because of his connections to the cops. It was racially motivated and really sad, and all of us in the area and the desperate for some justice. so hope spreading the word will help
as soon as you mentioned that none of the au pairs lasted long i immediately figured the dad was abusing them. this is the exact reason why i never looked further into becoming an au pair because that shit scares me 😩
I feel so bad for her, like yeah she was sleeping with him, but the power dynamic is so exploitative. She may have been worried about being left jobless and homeless in a foreign country if she didn’t or if she spoke up.
that's so true. i've always wanted to go abroad as an au pair (im american, but there's a surprisingly high demand in some other countries), but that fear has always held me back.
“Steven didn’t want to work so he got a job with the Democratic Party” 😂 I’m not a Republican or qualified to speak on the status of American politics but that make me chuckle out loud.
The only thing different between a creep and someone who’s sweet and thoughtful is if you like them or not. Why didn’t her family tell her it was weird that he showed up to the grandfathers funeral?! I’m glad that the kids turned this horrific incident into a positive one to help others. I couldn’t imagine.
The fact that he calls her phone immediately after murdering her saying she owes him an explanation as to why she left is insane. And his press conference plea was so awkward. Suspicion all over his fake face. Those poor kids and poor Tara.
The moment he decided between domestic battery and murder is the tipping point for insanity. Anything after that is not at all shocking. You should only be shocked if he would willingly want to go to prison. This isn’t the UK where you only do 8 years for 2nd degree murder. Here life is life.
I live in Detroit and had a family member that was part of the law enforcement team on this case. The police were legally obligated to allow him to take his dog for a walk because they had no legal reason to arrest or detain him yet because they had not found her torso yet. Also, Steven Grant walked his dog to a friend's house and took the friend's vehicle to drive to the woods up north to commit suicide. He was basically already on his way when the police found the torso. As for Stoney Creek Park, it is a wooded area for hiking, mountain biking, and cross country skiing, so there is a very high chance of no one seeing him. You should do the Bob Bashara case next from the Detroit area, if you haven't already done so! Love your channel!
CIAO, fellow Michigander. OMG THIS CASE!! I remember watching coverage of this case ON THE NEWS as a LITTLE HUMAN! My parents are the street from STONEY CREEK where her remains were scattered, we’ve been there hundreds of times. My mom said while running-years ago-that she felt Tara’s presence. AND TO TOP IT OFF, my sister’s driving instructor lived NEXT DOOR TO HIM. Thank you for covering this case, and serving a slice of Justice to the this slimeball of a human. LOVE YOUR CHANNEL 🥰 Keep it up 🤟🏻🤙🏻
I would absolutely love to see you cover the case of Elizabeth Fritzl. She was kidnapped and held captive by her abusive father in her basement. I think you would be so good at covering this case, and I hope you do a video on it!
Thank you for doing this. I was a senior a few towns away, and used to disc golf where she had been dumped. We were always so scared we might accidentally find something. Such a sad case.
When you described Tara, I got so sad because I knew what was coming, and to hear how lovely she was made this story all the more sad. And as soon as you said that Steven wanted a job in politics, I knew where that would be going.
Amazingly wicked as always. However, as soon as you said the word "au pair," I knew exactly where this was going. I'd say it was premeditated since it's easier to just jump into the shower than it is to get rid of his clothing.
I wonder if killers like him consciously use emotional events to create a bond between them and their victim. Like anyone is going to be emotional during a funeral or graduation, which would be a perfect time to slip in and manipulate those emotions of someone else for your evil intentions.
He cheated, he had no work ethic, he chose to date and then marry someone obviously way more ambitious then he killed her because of it. The ego is a powerful thing

Happy Valentines Danielle and to everyone as well. Stephen Grant sure is a very, very messed up husband. The fact that this whole tragic incident coincidentally happened around Valentines makes it even more disturbing than it actually was. Tara Lynn Grant had everything good going on in her life, and her own husband just had to ruin all of it as a result of his own selfishness.

Hey Danielle : ) I love your videos and your sassy moments!!! Since you ask for viewers to request cases, I was wondering if you could cover the case of Kayleigh and Kim Buckley that happened in Wales in 2012. It's a very tragic case where three generations of the same family were killed by a man who groomed Kayleigh, a child. I would like Kayleigh and her mum's story out there for people to understand the signs of online grooming. Thanks :) - Nikita!
The park is a decent size park with lots of hills. I walk there all the time. I remember this case so very sad. From what I understand her sister did a stellar job of raising Tara’s children I think in Ohio. What an awful piece of work he is. Love your channel! ♥️
My dad served on this jury. It was crazy the amount of reporters that were constantly at our house. Not to mention when I finally got my first job at a bank, Stephen was a former customer at the bank. 😬 Memories
This happened very close to where I grew up. I remember watching the news about it, I was barely old enough to understand, about 9. My mom would turn the tv off or switch to a different show if she saw me watching the story. People put up missing posters in my mom’s workplace and stuff. From what she said everyone knew the husband was sus from the jump. A kind of dark humor thing evolved out of it…. my family now has a house rule to “not get cut up and thrown in Stony Creek”

This one was extremely sad. I was nearly an Aupair in Madrid 10 years ago now. But in the end life took in on another path. There is a 8 part podcast on BBC news (I haven’t finished listening yet) about a little girl called Cheryl Grimmer, her family was originally from the UK but had just moved to the NSW in Australia a few months before the case when she was kidnapped from the changing rooms at the beach. That was in the early 70s. The podcast follows the journey of her brother who was actually with her that day, looked away, looked back and she was gone. It’s fascinating and very sad.

Ladies. I've taken self defense classes. A man is choking you. I understand instinct is grab their hands. Both their hands are occupied. Get your hand in their pants. Grab, pull and squeeze anything you find. They'll immediately let go. Testicles are best. IMPORTANT! DO NOT LET GO AND CONTINUE. If they attempt to hit you. Be strong and continue, but DO NOT LET GO. Mangle as much as possible. Or just avoid weirdos.

@@mrod87 I can understand though because I'm sure she was in a vulnerable position with her grandfather just passing and he preyed on that. 😔 it's some monster level stuff.

Right?! thats creppy af
How did he even know where exactly the funeral was???

when I was a kid, my mom worked and my dad stayed home and took care of me, my sibling, and the neighbourhood kids. He never acted like it emasculated him, because it didn't. He wasn't the 'mom', he was a dad, and the best dad in the world (I may be slightly biased). Don't be like Stephen. Be like Brian.
I grew up poor but my parents have kind of switched off being the “breadwinner” now they’re doing really good because my mom ended up with a PhD and they both stayed above water and happy the whole time
"Be like Brian," that is so sweet! And also, yeah be like Brian not Stephen.
Yes! Brian is Dad goals. ⭐️
be like brian.... brilliant your dad is awesome :-)
That’s a real man!!
If mothers who work don't love their children because they're not staying home with them all the time, does that mean fathers who work don't love their children either? Of course not, because that's ridiculous. People with this mindset need to get over themselves.
I mean...admittedly he was just using it to cover his tiny bruised ego.
@@MsBELLE7 He didn't come up with that, though. Working mothers have been told this for decades, at the least.

You can literally see the crazy in his eyes. Poor tara and the kids.
Yes! His eyes say psychopath, and his behavior says narcissist. I’m sad the kids lost their only loving parent. I hope he never gets out of prison.
Yeah rip tara
he reminds me of kevin mcdonald on mad tv when he used to play stewart. Red flag.
That’s what I was thinking.
His eyes are so disturbing and unsettling. It makes my skin crawl.
The fact he got mad at her and started accusing her of an affair reminds me of an abusive relationship I was in.. I always knew when he was doing something wrong because he would accuse me of it..
Yep!

Narcissists can only 'think' like they do. So if he questions you on YOUR affair, it's because he has no concept of fidelity ( he's cheating on you) he thinks everyone acts/behaves as he does and he's always above everyone else
I guess this is a warning that just because someone does a grand gesture for you, that doesn't necessarily mean that they're a good person.

Out of all these stories.

They're so sad, geeze...
"She finally grabbed my hand but it was too late." Is he seriously trying to blame her for not stopping him from killing her in time???
The way your face lit up when you said Tara’s sister raised them and all that they do for their mother shows how much you really care. It definitely put a smile on my face and a tear in my eye 🥹
This gave me goosebumps. Tara sounds like she was an incredible person, which makes this whole story even more painful.
Wow. I hope she covers this case.
Can you give me a name for this case or a location? Please.

The Tara’s Walk detail got me emotional. The violence and psychopathy couldn’t kill the love.

It is like our 51st state, unfortunately without state rights but that is a whole other conversation.

Sorry.

I agree with your comment!

I hope they are doing ok. Great video Danielle! That pink look was amazing.
I agree
I can't diagnose anyone either, but there are A LOT of narcissists in the world!! Including this tool.
The kids thrived with their maternal aunt. They are now about 21 and 17. Could be 22 and 18.

LOVE YOUR CHANNEL 🥰 Keep it up 🤟🏻🤙🏻
after hearing this story i was wondering how i never heard about it and live right in the area LOL
I’m from Michigan too, but I’m on the other side of the state. I was 20 at the time, I don’t really remember this case though
Hey fellow Michigander
I remember seeing this story as a kid growing up in Macomb county and being terrified to go to Stoney Creek for years after they found her.
Her thinking it’s sweet he just showed up to her grandpas funeral…
Me: that’s the creepiest thing I’ve ever heard wtf
I would absolutely love to see you cover the case of Elizabeth Fritzl. She was kidnapped and held captive by her abusive father in her basement. I think you would be so good at covering this case, and I hope you do a video on it!
Thank you for doing this. I was a senior a few towns away, and used to disc golf where she had been dumped. We were always so scared we might accidentally find something. Such a sad case.
"Steven was a man who's ego was bruised" ...he did it 😳
When you described Tara, I got so sad because I knew what was coming, and to hear how lovely she was made this story all the more sad.
A suggestion for color : mustard. Odd choice i know, but hear me out. My sister ( who is also a Danielle K. ) has very very similar coloring to you and it actually works. It doesmt tirn jer yellowish, orangish or wash her out. It also makes her hair and eyes pop ( also red/blue). Try it out, and if you do i hope it works for you :)
I love using darker yellows. I have dark brown eyes and it just pops them off so subtly!!! I agree, Danielle would look great in a mustard color 😊
Exactly! Actually mind blowing how messed up her own husband was....
I've been watching your videos for almost a year now and I'm OBSESSED with how u combine makeup and true crime, which are 2 of my favorite things. You tell each case so well and pair it w an amazing makeup look. So happy I found ur channel!
I absolutely adore turning point, I’ve used their services before and they’re amazing
Also I just want to say it is so cute the way you say “garage” ❤️ one of my best friends is from England and she would say it exactly the same way and I always thought it was adorable and I would make her smile and laugh whenever she did. 😊
It’s so stupid to me someone to be that petty over silly things when your partner is being the provider and such a great person to travel every fucking weekend to see you. Damn
I've always hated Sundays, but you always make the end of my week! Thank you for being you and please keep making videos!
HEYYY DANIELLE!! Would you mind doing the silent twins case? I was watching the Swedish case of where the girls run into the motor way and I’m so invested in it and saw the silent twins case whilst looking around and thought it might be a good one to do :)
Shannon there is already that video done by Danielle , you should watch all videos what she had done and you know you can find it .
I watched one on them too! That was unreal....
@@Fogysoks4709 seriously it stuck with me and creeped me out so much
She already did that one I believe it’s called Motorway Madness, she did it about 4 months ago. You should be able to find it by scrolling down her videos 💕
@@aimeeduff8000 doesn’t seem like the silent twins are on her channel :) the tip was on the silent twins and not the motorway twins…
I love the way the look turned out, you’re such a pro for being able to tell the story & focus on your make the whole time
Him pretending to cry on TV looked the exact same as the routine Andy Kaufman did where he's crying and honking and banging on a drum.
nothing scarier than a hurt male ego
Happy Valentines Day Danielle and everyone! I had not heard of this case and it is refreshing to hear about untold cases! ❤️🙏✌🏻
I know there are a lot of true crime videos on youtube now but I have to let you know, yours continue to be my favorite! your story telling is spot on and I enjoy your own opinions/comments thrown in there! I get so excited when I see you’ve uploaded🥰
Hi Danielleee your story-telling is always on point ❤️
late watch, but knowing this was based right in my neighborhood as a child is mind blowing! love your videos btw Danielle ❤
I am so sad that I just discovered your channel less than a month ago.☹️ I have literally been binge watching your videos ever since and I’m just now watching this one today. I wish I would have seen it in time to get a hoodie because I sure would have bought one!! I just love your videos! I think I only have maybe two or 3 left and then I’m all caught up! I introduced you to my mom today and she LOVED the video we watched together so I think you’ll have a new follower soon!😁 Mannn I’m so bummed I missed the limited edition hoodie though but thank you for all the hard work and dedication you put into your research for your followers! You are amazing and your make up is so beautiful! I love how you always match your eyeshadow with your nails. Anyways, enough babbling, I hope you read this comment and it brightens your day! Thanks again!😁
Thank God the kids didn’t wake up. I have no doubt he would have murdered them as well. What a D-bag. And now those poor children have no parents they can lean on.
god my heart truly hurts for her children. i’d say their children but that pos isn’t a father. a beautiful life stolen all because of a sad, pathetic excuse of man. sick 🤢
Excellent coverage. This happened close to where I live. It was so tragic to live this search as it was happening. I feel for her family and friends. And how nobody could see this coming, he was a true manipulator!
