A very needed post for many, especially focusing on the Supremacy mode gameplay. The amount of players who through genuine lack of knowledge, don't understand the importance of caps. So often I have seen players drive through caps with no enemy near hand, with cover available should one come closer, yet they miss the opportunity to cap and assist the team in garnering more points. The killing of an enemy tank also helps bring points down held by the enemy, so if cap points are close, that kill could be crucial. Stopping the clock in caps is also important, especially in the end game stages, but as said, they drive past or through looking for the kill, even worse when the enemy has full hp and the last man standing, and the player attacking is a one shot with hardly any HP left at all......A great post filled with good intel, well done.
Thanks for the input :) you are actually bringing up a good point there, i didnt really explain such specific playstyle too much, could have done so :D but i guess it is just less of a "how to" for beginners than an essay about what is better as the question comes up over and over again
Thanks :) but if you liked the quality here, then maybe check out one of my other recent videos on my channel in the blitz tactics playlist - the edit there took about 10x as long :D
Personally going through a phase where I'm trying to open up more to supremacy. Hate the mode and how teams prioritize caps over team play at times. I've even told my clan that I'll disengage from toons after 3 games if they are playing supremacy only. Forcing myself to play it more for some of the reasons you mentioned and needing to address a bias I've developed. Love how you mentioned the RUclipsrs you've learned from. Our clan have dipped our toes in on the tournament scene and being aware of supremacy game mechanic is super important for that.
I've also had multiple periods of time where I only played one or the other mode only and hated the other. That has switched depending on my mood and the meta. Atm I'm fine with Encounter as well, but I quickly get annoyed when playing it exclusively with some platoon mates, so opposite to you :D But good that you are also experimenting, it's definitely worth it and such a challenge can reignite the fire for the game :)
I prefer Supremacy. More options in game strategy, no draws (sort of), and never play on Mines. In saying that, I only ever set the mode if a mission warrants it. Otherwise, I'm happy to play both. It is possible for draws in Supremacy. It only happened to me once in 4 years of playing, and that was when the points of each team were level when the timer reached zero. The only annoyance with Supremacy is people not knowing the rules, notably leading on points when the timer reaches zero means you win. You don't need to reach 1000 points.
One big difference is. Mobility is needed in supremacy more. In encounter you get get away with more armour slower tanks. Trying to get cap points in a Maus in supremacy is going to hurt
I wouldn't necessarily agree. Yes, a light will have a big advantage in a 1v1 in supremacy on most maps. But so does it in encounter. There's a good point to be made about armor, as outtrading is more important than relocations in encounter games. Yet I prefer to play super heavies like a Maus in supremacy, because I will have enemies a bit closer and more likely to be on the heavy side, which is an advantage for me as I can face them there more quickly and effectively.
@N9O Fair point. But too many times in supremacy the meds-lights will start off my zipping around map capping. It becomes a game of cat and Maus. If your too slow to react, the points will tick away. Counting on your med teamates to hunt them down is luck of the draw. In
From my experience I can tell that it is ofc the worst case scenario, but realistically I'm more effective early on and have a higher chance of winning in supremacy. Don't care about the meds that much, don't chase them in slow tanks and don't cap bases, just fight effectively and you can still take caps in the end.
If you wanna play for stats such as damage then encounter is better than supremacy. You won’t have one of the teams capping all 3 bases thus game ending in few mins and you’re unable to farm damage because of that, in encounter they can cap only 1 game and you can decap it while running around, and actually use your skill to maximize the damage farming. If you want to grind winrate then go for supremacy, you can play aggressively with platoon mate and cap some bases at the start to increase chances of winning.
I have the tendency to agree theoretically, but I practically got my best dmg numbers in supremacy only nonetheless, just as specy who is among the very best. Yet I've also heard of more people of the top dmg farmers to prefer encounter.
Amazing video about this topic, also nice comparison of ufpnjh and nickace there. Personally I prefer supremacy because I feel like average game is a bit slower there since people yolo less because of the caps
Thank you :) yes, while yoloing teams can happen on both game modes, it feels like on encounter you are a bit more likely to have a team just yolo push one side. Otherwise you might be super stuck in front of some strong hulldown tanks as well and have less options of working around them.
This is a damn good info, sure I wish I knew this sooner in my 3.5years of playing WoT-B. This was very helpful to me and will be to other players too. Thx for such great advice, and @N9O keep up the good work.
I think 1 vs 3 situations are easier for average skilled players like me, in supremacy modes. Ace Mastery is also easier, due to active action by decapping enemy bases.
Is ok video but when i see some streamer not cap bases and when they lose battle bcs points and then blame teammates bcs for sake they are 50 or below they must cap bases,😂in rhat moment i wish take device on wich these pro players play and smash in the peaces 😂😂😂 and say "play now" 😂😂😂
Man blitz is too much in my fed up life Its so much work I want to quit but cant This game gives me mental problems that i can afford to solve And advise on quitting ? Please ?

Love the quality of your video, and the idea of putting your head on a circle. Might try it out for my videos as well!

good video thanks !
Me on personal...
I like both but depends on what's teammates doing especially the upcoming 10v10 mode is the way harder than random battles.

Great that you enjoyed it, thank you :)
Supremacy ruined so much 8k+ games that im never playing them ever again in public
Supremacy makes the games more predictable and I feel its somewhat easier to carry games in them if I play solo. But encounter is way more fun.
I play supremacy cause top players play encounter mostly 🤣🤫
ive also got the feeling like that might be true :D not necessarily top players, but many above-average players in well armored tanks.
Why are you playing with 35 FPS?
I'm playing at 60 fps. You only see a replay recording here.
Encounter is more predictable than Supremacy....my opinion

i thought everyone below 50 was happy to take caps? 👀
I hate encounter draws
Especially when people don't even try to win and just camp or run, it's so annoying. Don't want them to feel rewarded for not fighting..
Man blitz is too much in my fed up life
Its so much work
I want to quit but cant
This game gives me mental problems that i can afford to solve
