Thanks for checking out the game! The dueling does feel a bit odd at first, but it's quite easy to get used to - also, if you find the Duel Spirits are getting in your way, you can toggle them off in the Settings. Again, very much appreciated for playing DDX, and I'm glad you enjoyed it :)
Also, as for tournaments, we host "DDX Locals" every so often, usually bi-weekly if the hosts can. We actually have one going on today at 6PM EST (quite late, I know, they're usually earlier), and I'm pretty sure we still have a couple slots open, so if anyone is interested feel free to check it out on our discord.

DDX is unironically the best yugioh format out atm.
Having a custom banlist is actually pretty cool gives you a reason to play this over like duel nexus aside from the social aspect

DDX is unironically a good alternative to play Yugioh manually, with a great social aspect. And the customization options and events are actually engaging.

As someone that plays duelist World it is confusing at first but we are adding updates for cards and whatnot soon.

Very nice video! Just a heads up for next time, you can use your mouse to control your camera, instead of your keyboard. all you need to do is press and hold the right mouse button to look around.

Duelist world is for keeps who wanna play in a unique format and with the owners recent custom cards -_-, academia was the most popular for a few months until ddx came out and left academia with just the noobs who hate new cards, and ddx was originally just dd in like 2016 but got removed until 2 years ago

Modern Academia would've actually had a chance to partially rival ddx if it kept up the updates, but it didn't, and now ddx is the most played one (also I did play YMA before ddx, I loved the game a LOT, but as said ddx has taken over)
DDX is by far the best one, I love that game

You should play dimension duel x instead of modern academia it's mostly good and it has much modes and some to explore

ROBLOX yugioh is actually good, but definitely lacking of good players. modern academia and yugioh world by far the best in terms of play to win and the skill level of the players. Not to mention how easy it is to learn.

@@saif19845 facts, its easily beaten by duelingbook, duelinngnexuus and now master duel. But the cool part about it is that its a 3d world where you can physically walk around and play yugioh against other real time players. trade cards, buy packs, as a character in an interactive space. Yes its roblox, yes I hate the people that play the game, yes the graphics are terrible, but it brings to yugioh what every player has dreamed about, real life reactive duelling (a 3d duelling simulator where you have a playable character). Evan if its janky and shit and the player base is mostly babies with no yugioh skills, It can be harnessed in so many unique ways. And if lucky enough, maybe Konomi will work on an open world duelling world mmorpg.
