!!!READ BEFORE BUILDING!!! :)
If the farm is not working, make sure you have equal numbers of villagers, beds and workstations. If you do not, the farm will break. For example, 30 beds. 30 villagers. 30 work stations. There should not be any other villager tech within 100 blocks of this farm as it will extend the village and break the farm.
After building this farm, regardless of it's working or not. You need to recenter the village. In order to do this, with all villagers in the farm, break every bed around the area. Place the red bed down first in the very center, then place the rest of the beds down again. This will recenter the village. If you have golems spawning outside of the farm, please watch the full tutorial. This is due to you building the farm improperly and the farm either needs to be lower in the ground or the surround ground needs to be higher.
Thanks for checking out this simple and easy to build iron farm! This farm configured in the 9x9 format will give you 350+/- iron ingots per hour. If you extend it to the 17x17 format then you will average the max rates of 404+/- iron ingots per hour. Keep in mind this is an average rate and not a "max" rate. Also, if you plan on not using a campfire. Place a button on the side of the block there instead. That will keep the fence gate from burning. If you have any questions, feel free to drop them down below! :D
A couple of remarks.
- 404 is not the theoretical max iron you can get in Bedrock, that is actually 411.
- 3 golems with 30 beds, 30 villagers, 30 job stations is not the most you can get on Bedrock. The most is 4 golems, with 40 beds, 40 villagers, and 40 job stations. However, note that there are brutal diminishing returns between 20,20,20 and 40, 40, 40, and it is as a consequence usually advised to use 20, 20, 20 as the gold standard. 20, 20, 20 provides over 92% of the theoretical max achieved by 40, 40, 40.
- to max out spawning success, you need at least a 13x13 platform around your central bed. This is sort of covered in the last seconds of your videos, but very briefly. A 13x13 platform ensures over 99% spawning success, since iron golems attempt to spawn 10 times per round. A 17x17 platform ensures almost 100% success.
- The fletcher thing has been patched a few versions ago. They no longer keep working during the rain.
It is easy to verify in creative. Just create a space with a bed and a fletching table. Place a roof above. Type "time set noon", your villager will start working. Type "weather set rain", and it will stop looking at its job station, meaning it has stopped working. If you break the roof block above its position, it will run away and seek shelter.
Note that villagers stopping to work during the rain has very little actual effect on rates, unless you get really unlucky (as in: put your iron farm into simulation distance on a rainy morning, and have the rain last until night time).
@@oaretv First, Thank you for pointing out the fletching table. I'll do some more testing with it! I must have missed them updating it. However, this is of minimal effect since most rain storms will never last 1 full minecraft day. But it is still important! Secondly, we are talking average numbers. Which is 404. Verified by my testing as well as the official Wiki here: minecraft.wiki/w/Iron_Golem
Thirdly, The best spawning success will come from a 19x19 platform. This is to ensure the golems that spawn at the very north west corners can spawn on their block chosen and not have a solid block scrub their spawn. As the golems spawn in a 17x6x17 area around the village center. A few further notes, You'll never exceed 98.3% spawn rate as per the Wiki, Because the highest possible "average" iron ingot drop is 4. So if you do a little math, 4 x 3600 seconds = 14,400 divided by 35 = 411.428 then times 411.428 by .983 = 404 Which is also stated on the official Wiki linked above. Furthermore, 4 golems is not the max on Bedrock, You can have farm more than 4 golems spawn at a single village, if you have supporting beds/work stations. But Nobody makes a 4+ golem farm because the math doesn't work for it. Like you said, Very diminishing returns. If I were to start this tutorial by saying "you'll need 40 villagers".. yeah, nobody is gonna watch it. 🤣
Also, 13x13 will not allow you to reach maximum spawn rates, as you will drop significantly below that 98.3% maximum due to scrubbed spawning attempts. To achieve the maximum on spawning you'll need 19x19.
also, Going from 20 to 30 villagers is diminishing returns. But I think the gain is worth it, as 30 to 40 is not. But as far as all the technical bits, Lets strip it down to the basics which is output. 404 is the average, not the highest number that makes up that average. If you wanna say "well you could add another 10 villagers and get an extra 5 iron ingots per hour". That's well within the swing of the average bracket and not really tangible. Kinda like saying I could have made it 19x19 instead of 17x17 to gain an extra 0.25% of spawn chance. At that point, your splitting hairs and would be better off spending your energy making a multi village iron farm. But again, for 99.8% of players, I'm sure 404 Iron ingots per hour is just fine. Most people just alter their AFK time. Thanks for the comment!
@@xRsBuiltx Thanks for your reply.
Allow me to add a few counterpoints.
- on a 30, 30, 30 design, or even on a 40, 40, 40 design, 404 ingots per hour is practically impossible to reach on sustained sessions (>100 consecutive hours) without using lava blade spam. Or the little " dump village trick" described below. With just 1 lava blade, you can't reach that average without a lot of luck.
- When I said 17x17, I meant dry land with no walls. But as you point out, most designs will require walls in order to place water streams, so in reality, 19x19 skewed 2 blocks towards NW is indeed the platform size that will ensure maximal spawning rates.
- It is possible to go beyond 98.25% spawnability. 98.25% supposes you have one lava blade in the center of your platforms with 4 open fence gates around it. However, here is a little trick. You can use water streams pushing the golems towards the outside of the platform, along with ice in the center (ice has a number of very interesting properties regarding path finding, I discovered and described them in several of my mob farm videos), combined with what I call a "dump" village underneath, where you drop the golems to die.
With such a setup, you can achieve 100% spawnability. I will gladly admit it is very much a fringe case scenario. But it is possible nonetheless. I have some contents planned for the future on the subject (although it is low on my priority list - but if you are interested in the "dump village" idea, there is a whacky video on my channel called "Death by W" where I put it to use).
EDIT: Let me add that you should consider joining the Analyzing Minecraft Discord server by Rufus Atticus.
He has a tool that allows you to measure and predict extremely accurately the output of an iron farm.
His contents are more reliable than the Wiki.
One thing he has calculated as well is that 13x13 is actually the ideal platform size for an iron golem farm. This is due to two factors:
- First, the fact that golems repeat their spawning attempts 10 times before declaring them a failure. With 13x13 blocks, you have very, very little chances of hitting the "failure" point.
- Second, 13x13 shortens the distance between spawning and killing spots.
13x13 is tied in efficiency with 11x11. Those are closely followed by 15x15, and then 17x17. 9x9 falls behind, albeit not by much.
This is all supposing one central killing lava blade, of course. Having a different lava setup can drastically change the values.
@@oaretv thanks for the reply. The golems getting out of the village on bedrock does not effect rates as long as the iron golems are killed or removed within 30-35 seconds. If they are in the farm over this threshold then it will slow future spawning. But since a spawn attempt occures every 30-35 seconds, killing them faster than that time frame gives no benefit. This is why drop farms are a lot more common on Java rather than Bedrock. Because Java has much more sophisticated spawning mechanics. Furthermore, a 13x13 platform has no benefit in time to death if the golem dies in under 30-35 seconds. This is the same with the single lava blade. Id encourage you to build the farm and rate test it for yourself. All rates are listed from my testing in the pinned comment above. Thanks for the comment. :)
@@xRsBuiltx Thanks for the reply.
Much to my shame, I have absolutely no knowledge of Java. I had no idea golem dropping into dump villages was a thing there as well.
In Bedrock, dropping golems definitely does have an impact, albeit small.
The reason it works is that the faster you remove one golem from the cap, the faster the next spawning attempts can begin. Dropping golems into a dump village cuts off the entire killing sequence (usually performed by lava, which isn't fast), thus allowing for the next batch of golems to spawn a little faster.
The difference is not much. I tested it over 120 hours, and got a steady 7% increase in yields.
But like I said, it is a fringe case which is basically only relevant to one specific design choice - which I happened to be testing.
In other words, if doing normal farms, you'd be better off building a second iron farm.
Worked for me on bedrock 1.20. Thank you! Awesome farm. Golems spawn really fast. I just had to make sure it was outside of my normal village. Awesome design.
Edit: for anyone having trouble: i used the 9x9 design, and outlined my 16x16 chunk by finding coordinates to a block that were divisible by 16 to a whole number. Once you find one, mark it. Then use a compass to find which way is north. The block you marked should be your north-west block, in the "top left" corner of your chunk if facing north. Then mark out 15 blocks south of original marked block, and 15 blocks east of original marked block. Then connect them. Now you have your chunk laid out.
Make sure nothing is within 20 blocks below your farm. I built mine on a rocky shore above water to ensure this. Golems cant spawn in water higher than 1 block and require a 2x1 platform with 3 blocks of height to spawn.
Also when people say make your farm at least 150 block away from any beds, villagers or job blocks, dont ignore it.
Last thing, i had a tough time placing the lava on my fence post until i realized i just wasnt up high enough like @xrsbuiltx was.
Hope this helps
At first the base 9x9 wasnt working for me but expanding in to 16x16 fixed everything, im on bedrock and im throwing this out here incase anyone on bedrock finds the 9x9 troublesome!
If it's wasnt spawning golems, you need to follow the pinned comment. :)

@@xRsBuiltx i did everything it wont work
@@lieutenant8968 is it still not working? I did recenter my village but golems still spawned outside of the 9x9 area so that’s why I expanded it to 16x16
@@lieutenant8968 Not everything, or it would be working. Id check around the area for beds, Make sure that you have the exact number of beds per villagers. (30 each) Make sure you don't have any pending raids. Etc.
Loved the video this was my first ever iron farm I've built and I'm really happy it has worked! 🙏
Dude, I've tried a couple different iron farms now, and this one is easily the best. Incredibly efficient for how simple it is. Minus waiting for baby villagers to grow up, took less than an hour to make, and then could just afk overnight for over 5000 Iron!
Im glad you like it! Make sure you read the pinned comment to get the most reliability and output out of it. Thank you for the comment!
Started working waaayyyy before i finished, very solid farm💪🏻💪🏻
Worked in realms, somewhat. I expanded the extra tiles but they spawn a further 3 blocks on top of that. I’m gonna try remake it closer to my base and in the air to force them to spawn in the hole. Apart from that, great tutorial and sooo many cats, definitely need campfire
5/5 ⭐️ 🏴
Thank you. Make sure you read the pinned comment to center the village. It's quick and easy to do. If the farm was built low enough in the ground you should never have any golems spawn outside of the farm.
I missed the pinned comment, I have now replaced beds and it works perfectly. Thankyou 🙌
@@scottynorse awesome! I'm glad you got it working!
@@xRsBuiltxi did this and no golems are spawning what have i done wrong bro 😂
I rebuilt this farm in my new world, and afk overnight (9hours). I got almost 6 stacks of iron! It still works very well, altough 10 villagers did die when I checked the inside (probably the thunderstorm). So I'll add the lightning rod this time. But it still works!
worked for me in a hard mode realm server, thanks cuh
Does it work on normal for realms?
@Despairinqq yes.
Finally a tutorial that actually works,,, Thanks man!
This helped so much thxs and a tip for other people watching it’s better at night it’s so fast
Works great! Thanks for the iron farm
Great farm but getting those 30 villagers was such a hassle😭😭
Ikr?
Just needed 2 villagers and several stacks of potatoes/carrots or bread. Throw all of the food down at one of them and they will populate.
Great farm and tutorial
I’ve built this with about 25 villagers (they got carried away while breeding), but I only have a golem spawning every minute or so, and really inconsistent. Sometimes it’s 30 seconds sometimes it can be like 2 minutes. I’ve also expanded the otherwise platform by 5 blocks on each side
Golem spawning is random and will start spawning 35 seconds after the last golem of that number spawned. For example, If you have 30 villagers, 30 work stations and 30 beds. Then you will get 3 golems every approximate 35 seconds. So if golem #1 spawns, itll have to be atleast 35 seconds before golem #1 can spawn again. when golem #2 spawns, itll have to be 35 seconds before golem #2 is able to spawn again. At this point you might as well get 5 more villagers. Make sure you dont have any nitwits. That way you have 30 villagers, 30 work stations and 30 beds. There cannot be anymore villager tech around the area within 100 blocks. This includes beds, work stations, villagers, etc. Make sure you dont have any golems spawning anywhere underground.
Thx for the tutorial! The iron will be very helpful when making an underground subway to my skeleton spawner
From experience, this won't get max rates. Pretty good rates, just not max. The villagers will often disconnect from their workstations and sometimes from their beds. There will be MC days where no golems spawn. Plus your spawn platform is quite small.
Fantastic early game iron farm tho
Did you watch the entire video? 30 beds + 30 villagers + 30 work stations = max rates as long as spawn location is maximized. Which it is if you add the optional part of the farm at the end of the video. Disconnecting is cured by allowing them to walk around and work at their workstations freely. You can visually see this with no particles. For this to effect iron production, 25% of villagers must have not worked or been unlinked in that given day. Beds do not effect rates as they don't need to access them. Beds will only effect the farm if the village center (red bed) shifts to another bed. Also, you may be using a work station such as a barrel where villagers stop working at certain times of day, such as rain storms. Using fletching tables will keep your villagers working continuously every day. Please remember that this is a bedrock farm, not a Java farm. As they are totally different. 😊
@@xRsBuiltxthere are no workstations that cause work rates to be affected by rain or storms. That mechanic hasn't been in the game for a long time.
You assume the red bed will be the centre of the farm. The only way to ensure this is to have only one bed when you bring the first villager in, then not bring any more villagers in.
As a result, the centre of the village isn't where you think it is, thus your platforms, even with the extension at the end of the video, aren't maximised. The only way to get 400+ is with everything maximised.
@@Acadewolf respectfully, I think you have a misunderstanding of the way villagers work. The center of the village is created when the first bed is placed and a villager links to it. I did not do this in the video due to trying to keep the video short and should have done it, but corrected it in the pinned comments. However, I would certainly encourage you to do more testing. If what you are saying is true, there's no way this farm would be producing 400+ iron ingots per hour with the max platform. I encourage you to build it for yourself and do your own testing. All rates listed in the pinned comment is from my average rate testing of the farm. :)Thank you for the comment! Also, you can find the bug report here for the villagers not working in the rain. bugs.mojang.com/browse/MCPE-121902
@@xRsBuiltx my tests show that none of them work during rain, whether fletcher or any other. That's why I said there's no difference between workstation types. Sorry for the confusion, I was unclear. That being the case, farmers are currently better as it's a lot easier to make composters early game than gather enough flint for all those fletching tables. I guess I misinterpreted your "they will work all day" to infer that fletchers work during the rain as they used to.
@@xRsBuiltx the center of the village is the pillow of the bed of the chief, yes. However, unless you put down only one bed for the first villager, that bed could be any you put down. The chief will sometimes change if a new villager is brought in, in which case the center of the village will shift. If the center of the village shifts to one of the outside beds, you'll lose a lot of your spawn points.
Edit: I see you've put that in your pinned comment. Just noticed it. We're saying the same thing on the initial condition, but that's often not how it stays if you bring in new villagers or the chief disconnects with his bed while there's another free bed, which will always be the case if you build the 10 villager version.
Thanks for the great buils
Works great! Thanks!
I would put a water elevator for items to float up to a chest so I don't have to dive down holes 😅
@@greggorman5537 ideally, but the purpose of this farm was to be a day one iron farm. Not really the most convenient by all means. I do have a few other iron forms that are a lot more convenient and more targeted for later game.
still works really well, the part that takes the most time is probably breeding 30 villagers but besides that it's extremely easy. 10/10 would recommend you build this
mines not working any ideas why?
Found a giant cave system under my farm, so my iron golems aren’t spawning. I’ve built this farm before and it works super well…
I just don’t know how to go about getting rid of the cave. If it’s no cave within a 20 block radius do I only cover up the cave up to that point? Can I place slabs down instead of filling it in?
Not sure how to proceed 😭
@@ashlynnehawkins7758 the golems will only spawn in a 17x13x17 block area around the center of the village. (The main beds pillow) So make sure there are no spawnable blocks in that area. This would be up to 6 blocks below the pillow of the bed. You can fill in where there is no 2x3 area for it to spawn, mine it out where there is no spawnable blocks or you can spawn proof using leaves.
Finally a farm that actually works. Thank you
This is amazing, thank you so much!
WARNING:::: IF YOU CHOOSE NOT TO BURN THE CATS THEN YOU HAVE TO PLAY WITH FIRE TICK OFF. THEY JUMP OUTS AND CAUSE THE GATE TO CATCH ON FIRE
Incorrect, the gate catches fire because there is a air block under it. Follow the pinned comment and place a button down on the hopper under the lava. This will fix the fence gate from burning. You can also use a nether wood fence gate that doesn't burn as well. :)
gonna try this out soon, we'll see how it goes
Turns out the middle of the farm is on a chunk border, or close to it but its still producing fine. Does it just slow down rate of production? Thanks btw it works just asking
It doesn't affect the rates, but it can cause it to be more likely to break.
Hey man can you help me why only cats are spawning and no golem spawning in my iron farm there's no cave in underground either i already read your pinned comment but it's not working
Me too
same here
Tame 5 cats that spawn from the farm
thank yu bro it worked
I built it with 30 villagers within one whole chunk and is only spawning one, do i have too wait a full minecraft day for it to work fully or have i done something wrong? great farm just not working too it’s full ability yet
There's a pinned comment to fix this.
W iron farm.
Thanks man
For some reason, the iron golems only spawn on solid ground and can't spawn when there's water. Can someone help me with this? I'm on the Minecraft PE 1.21 beta for reference.
Farm is built to high in the world. You need to move the farm down or raise the ground around it. Only the spawning pad can be the only spawnable blocks in the 17x13x17 spawning box around the village center bed pillow.
@@xRsBuiltx the iron golems only spawn inside of my farm if there's solid ground, so does this solution work in that case?
@@BeingMikhail the water is solid ground. The golems pick the highest place to spawn. Since the ground is higher, they are spawning there instead of the water.
All the iron golems are spawning outside the farm, what do I do? Like 20 blocks away from the farm
if you have golems spawning outside of the farm, please watch the full tutorial. This is due to you building the farm improperly and the farm either needs to be lower in the ground or the surround ground needs to be higher. (copy paste from pinned comment at the top)

Just built this, nice simple farm thanks for taking the time to make this. Is there a way to upgrade this so that I can get like a dozen golems at a time? I think its possible but I wonder if you have a good strat for it
You can add a bunch more villagers, beds and work stations but there's diminishing returns. It would be more benificial to just make a stacked iron farm.
@@xRsBuiltx you got a vid on that? Stacked iron farm. Particularly a way to upgrade this farm into a stacked one
really good farm, works very well
Thanks worked great
Guys I don’t know if I’m just dumb but I need a lot of help how do I place the lava I’ve failed 2 times and only have one more lava place nearby
make sure your standing on a block, that way you don't have to jump around and try to hit your mark. then crouch and place it on the inside hitbox of one of the fence gates on the inside where the lava would go. Make sure you are crouched or you'll just open or close the fence gate instead of placing the lava.
Bro thank you so much saved my life I’m playing with my friends and they let me finish the farm while they sleep u are the goat but after a while no golems spawn for like 10 min do you know what the problem ?is also earned yourself a sub!
Is it possible to put a building on top? Kinda wanna make a little factory on top, but i want to know if that would mess with farm efficiency
As long as it's not within 6 blocks up from the beds, it will be just fine! So just make sure your atleast 6 blocks above and you'll be golden. 👍
You say that it will never break, but have you met me? 😁Nice starter farm Built!
doesnt work golems no spawn
edit: i have a theory bc i built it next to my other villager farm game got confused and thought that it was the same thing and spawned all the golems in the OTHER farm.
So when building it make sure its not close to any villages nearby..
Pinned comment.
Yes, make sure there are no villagers or beds near by. If there is, it will extend the village. If you have golems spawning outside of the area, its because the farm wasnt built low enough in the ground. Or the ground level is not high enough.
ok ty
Yea must be, since it worked for me on Ps5.
Hi.
Puggonator!!! Hi!
Do you recommend bringing the villagers in manually or breading them in the farm?
I usually bring two in and then breed them. Just make sure you don't put too many villagers.
@@xRsBuiltxI was wondering if 30 beds would only mean 30 could breed. The only issue then might be if someone on the server places a bed near and they make another baby. Will see how it goes. Thanks for your help as always
Is it possible to have multiple of these farms next to each other? Thinking of making these in a 2x2 pattern.
You can stack villages next to each other. But there's certain things you have to do to make sure they don't all make one big village. I've never designed a stacked raid farm so I'm unsure what all needs to be done tbh.
@@xRsBuiltx Not stacked, side-by-side. All of them would be ground level
@@hazmathutty5262 yeah, that would be considered a stacked raid farm. Not so much physically stacked. But stacking their production.
theres no iron golems spawning but cats are

This works very well! Does having a zombie nearby the villagers increase the rates or nah
Nope. That's only a Java mechanic. And thank you!
It was working really good for a month but it slowed down, it’s 100 blocks in the air so they won’t spawn in caves is there a way I can speed up the iron golems spawning? Tysm
Sounds like your village center might have shifted. Break all the beds and place them back down placing the red one down first in the center.
It works somewhat? i have tons of golems spawning as well as cats, but im getting no iron at all. The iron isnt burning so im not sure whats wrong
Check your hoppers and chest. Sometimes they will glitch out and look like they are there when they aren't. Also make sure your settings are correct, with things like mobs drop loot in your game settings.

I'm a little confused... I loaded up my world's seed in a chunk finder to find where I can make the farm. But the numbers were showing 17x17 spaces. I thought chunks were 16x16, but your farm has a center block of just 1 space, so it's 17x17? I'm very confused
I'm building mine underground, but iron golems don't seem to be spawning anywhere ( i checked in a creative test server ), even after expanding to the 16x16, recentering the village and making the ceiling 4 blocks tall. Am i doing something wrong?
@@forminox6580 The iron golems will prioritize spawning on surface blocks. So cave spawns would come second to that, make sure that you have 30 villagers, 30 workstations, and 30 beds. And no other villager tech within 100 blocks of the iron farm.
@@xRsBuiltx thanks, that's probably why because i have put various job blocks (like smithing tables) in my crafting room. Hopefully removing them helps
What if it never spawns in? The first one I did they kept spawning outside than the second farm it just never spawned in

So I've watched the video + read your pinned comment. Built the farm to a T, even added a 10 block wide slab buffer and all the golems still spawn outside the buffer radius. Farm is 16 x16. Any tips ?
@@justinwallin2359 how much further outside? The max they should be able to spawn is 19x19 centered on the red beds pillow. If they are spawning farther than that, then there is some other villager tech extending the village radius. (A bed, villager, work station, etc) Make sure you don't have any of this within a 100 block radius. If all of this is good and your running into spawning inside that 19x19 block radius then your farm isn't deep enough in the ground. You can move it down by 1 or 2 blocks or you can build the farm up by 1 or 2 blocks in the surrounding area where they are spawning.
So, While I was building the farm, golems were spawning. But after putting the final touches on it, they stopped spawning. I broke every bed within a 200 block radius and made sure to check that there were no caves underneath, and also made sure to recenter the village with the red bed. I built the farm on a large mountain but it is still flat. Would that have to do anything with why they are not spawning?
Make sure every villager has a bed. If it has 31 and 30 beds it'll break the entire farm.
Wait you put 30 beds though

My farm isn't producing any iron golems and I'm only getting cats spawning... :(.I removed all beds in the farm and in the surrounding area and reset the center of the "village" and I increased the radius to 16x16 so I'm really confused to why its not working properly. Any additional help or guidance is appreciated. Thanks in advance if anyone has any tips

Heyy I’m sorry I watched the whole video a few times and followed it even reading the pinned comment and it doesn’t seem to be working me and my freind think it’s due to our villager breeder next to it so we raised it about 80 blocks and we’re gonna re build it is there anything else you could think of that may be the issue we have 1 golem that’s always walking around that may be the issue we also changed the block that the villagers work for to composters making them farmers could that be a issue? Other than that amazing vedio easy to follow
Yes, the villager breeder was there first. Which makes it the center of the village. So the golems will spawn around that point. There shouldn't be any more beds or villager tech around it.
@@xRsBuiltxdo i keep my other villagers from the breeder alive or kill them? there are about 12 villagers with no beds and only work stations
@@bakedbyacake you can only have the iron farm villagers in the area. There must only be 30 villagers. 30 beds, and 30 work stations within 100 blocks of that iron farm. Remove all villager tech that is not the iron farm and follow the steps in the pinned comment.
The tutorial is very useful
the bottom fence gate keeps catching on fire for me at random times, anyone else?
If you don't use a camp fire under it. Then place a button under it where the campfire would be. This will stop it from burning.
Took a couple minutes to start working but other then that it’s perfect
If I build this underground will it still work or do I need to be above
Building it underground will work perfectly! Just make sure there is at least 4 blocks of height on the spawning platform to give the golems plenty of room to spawn and move and make sure there are no caves in a 20 block radius for golems to spawn in and it'll work great. :)
I cant seem to add a dirt block on the fence gate

Will I also be able to have my above ground trading hall or will that break the farm? I would appreciate a response so I don’t waste time building something that won’t work
It'll break the farm. Your best bet would be to find a iron farm that is a combo trading hall.
@@xRsBuiltx I got it I just listened to some other guys comment and moved the villagers by minecart into a iron farm above the ocean lol
Does this have to be under the ground? I choose to build it right in surface of water where golem cannot spawn and at the beginning it was spawning fast and starting to slow down.
Haven't tried resetting the bed. Will that help?
No, it doesn't have to be in the ground. Yes, resetting the beds will help. follow the pinned comment. Also, golems can spawn in water. Make sure you don't have any that spawn in caves or around the farm.

It works fine but do you know why do golems only spawn when i am really close to farm bcs it is like 150 blocks away from my base?
And how can i prevent cats from dying?
@Zebra266 you must be close enough to the village to load it in game to make it spawn iron. If you want to keep cats from dying, you can pull them out of the farm and take them and sit them down. After pulling enough out, they will no longer spawn. Just make sure the cats are in the iron farm area.

Hi! Before i finished it i got 2 iron golems and now i have nothing just cats. Any ideas on what could be going wrong?
If you are in creative mode to test it out, I would put yourself in spectator mode and look underground and see if you have golems somewhere.

@@emmbalmer2267 did mob spawning somehow get turned off on the world settings? You need to have 100% of the villagers linked to a bed. So every one needs a bed. As long as the farm is built the same way, it will not break it.
The fletching tables are not really the most efficient work block I found that cartography tables are are way more efficient and maybe even better if you want to you could use cartography tables for a more cheaper work station
@@help_andre they are both pretty comparable. However since the cartography table requires 2 paper instead of 2 flint (gravel) it's more difficult to find in early game. if thare are any more then 30 villagers will it work?
It depends, spawning mechanics say 75% of villagers have to be working in the village for it to produce golems. 100% of the villagers must be linked to a bed. Keep in mind some utility blocks don't work during certain events such as the barrel (fisherman) with it raining.
