LOL at the ref punch. To everyone asking, this is a badass workout. I usually do a warm up round too. Once I'm in the fight I can easily max out my heart rate in 2-3 rounds. I have no place to give boxing tips, but a gamer tip would be to go on the defensive when your screen turns grey from getting punched; your punches will have no power during these moments because of the game mechanics. This saves your energy.
I've been programming myself to reply viciously when i get punched in the face. The reason is: you keep the advantage of surprise, because your opponent thinks he got you. But for this game, this is irrelevant.
Ooo look at all the space. I am not used to seeing you move and the opponent move. I play in my kitchen so when the bell rings I have to immediately clinch my opponent away from my counter so I don't risk hitting it 🤣🤣🤣
the only mild gripe i got with the game is that it doesn't reward good boxing form and actual effective moves. You could just there with your hands up and the A.I.s will automatically just drop their hands and stare at you and then you just throw a haymaker wide swing at their jaw or temple or smth and it's a yellow hit. Just keep throwing wide hooks from left and right and you'll eventually just knock them out. And you can't guard against body shots with your elbows cuz you HAVE NO ARMS, just hands. So it rewards you for DROPPING YOUR GUARD and moving your hands all the way down to your body to block body blows.
