The Uni Pins come in nine sizes actually, I know because I have the set I got on Amazon. There is also an American version and Japanese version of this pen. I have the American one's.

Cool. Why do you draw mandalas? What does mean mandala for you? Why do you love it so much? It's just lines and circles

every drawing is just a bunch of lines not just mandalas. Drawing and coloring mandalas is relaxing to me.

Thanks for this great review, Tiffany. One question...do you find any one of these to hold up better when used with a ruler? My pigma micron nibs seem to really take a beating and don't last very long if I'm using the ruler a lot. Thanks, again!

+bossasuz Evil rulers will chew up any pen but I think they dislike Pigma Microns the most. I will say that my 04 and 06 Pigma Sensei have held up quite well. This is my second set of these pens and I use them with a ruler all the time. You can buy them individually on jetpens.com if you don't want the whole set.

a great review ! I will stick with my Faber castell pitt artist penns and brush penns. I have got also Faber castell ECCO penns to. They where recommend to me because I use them in a watercolour painting and they won't react to water. it uses a different kind of ink. I have got one steadler pen to but it seems a bit blue on the paper I use.. so I love the others more.

The Pigma Micron makes a nib even smaller than 003. The Pigment Liner does make a chisel tip. Why no Artline or Shinhan or Edding? It would have been good to test them too.

The Faber-Castell Pitt pens are my favorite, and have been for years! I know the size labeling system can be confusing. Pretty sure it's more of a reference to traditional pen nibs: extra-superfine, superfine, fine, medium, broad...soft brush, soft chisel and 1.5mm bullet tip.

I typically use Microns. Is the ink in the Uni Pin really black. I love that pure black look. Woot!

+poetspice Actually all of these pens were really black. The only pens that I reviewed that seemed slightly less black were the chisel and brush Pigma Microns.

My least favorite pens are the faber castell ones.
really angry bias towards that company. their ink is indian ink , which is actually super terrible ink that isn't very suited for some art supplies. it's also SUPER cheap ink.
I hate how they over price those pens when they are such a low quality.
the only thing I can say i like about those pens is how many unique colors they have.
also the pitt markers are made just like children markers , so streaky ! actually i think kids markers are a bit better then the fc pitt markers! and yet they are so overpriced!
