- I absolutely adore giving my newborn baby a bath! It is such a fun time to bond together, allow your baby to (hopefully) have some fun, get them clean and create a solid bedtime routine. Today I am reviewing 3 of the most popular baby bath tubs on the market so you can get a better idea which bathtub to add to your baby registry! I needed to watch this video several times because a new born is amazing :) they are so soft and tiny GOD BLESS ALL THE NEW BORN BABIES :)

My daughter had a hot pink, hard plastic infant to 1 year old baby bath tub. It had a water proof cushion on the inside and it held a lot of water. I'd put baby bath shampoo in the water and made sure the water was not too hot or too cold depending on the weather. The baby soap/shampoo I used for her bath and hair washing was Johnson and Johnson baby soap because it does not hurt the eyes if the soap and water goes into them. It also de-tangles longer hair and makes her smell good.
After the bath, I pick her up from the water and dry her off on my bed. I'd apply Johnson and Johnson baby lotion, put on her diaper and pajamas and prepare her for bed. She was a happy baby. What a good girl I have. My blessing!

I love the skip hop moby tub it’s my absolute favorite and my baby loves it!! I’ve tried soo many and this one is by far the best 😍 I did not like the angle care my baby would just slip off unfortunately. The white tub has a sling that is not durable and my baby was not comfortable!!

I wanted to get the angelcare but when I realized it uses alot of water, I changed to skip hop.
Thanks for the review now I can see if Amazon can return my money 💰 for the Angelcare Baby Bath Support, I bought a while ago😢 I won't be able to use it to bath in the tab for the baby I'm having next week
I wish i would’ve bought the skip hop when my baby was a nb, there was no tubs but the hopscotch at walmart at that moment and i hate it😭 i was barely able to get my hands on one but my baby is already gonna be 4 months, i feel she would’ve enjoyed her baths more on the skip hop 🥺 i hate that there’s so many things i wish i would’ve done differently but i can’t turn back time😭

How did you clean the cloth seating, mine is starting to grow mold spores ?!
I would throw mine in the washer machine every so often and never had any issues!
Wash with bleach,and detergent..line dry..easy peesy

Hi Briana :) I loved everything from Tubby Todd for the first year for my daughter. The all over ointment, body wash, lotion, everything was amazing. The AOI helped a ton with her newborn acne too. I always wanted to try Bubbsi too but never got around to it. Now that she’s older and goes through soap like crazy (bubble baths every night) I use Cetaphil baby wash. It’s a lot cheaper and I love the smell.

How did you take out the sling so that you could roll it into the second stage for baby to sit in for the skip hop moby? I just recently got the skip hop moby for my baby girl and it’s been hard to take it out of the slot it goes into. She’s using it in the second stage and I want to unroll it so that I can hang the tub up on the shower head and dry it, but it’s been difficult to remove 😩😅
Hi Mabo! I agree it is a little difficult to remove the sling. At 01:18 you can see how I pull up on the tab to then roll it up. That is the one thing I wish SkipHop would improve because allowing it to dry after each use is annoying due to the latch system. Sorry that this isn't much help but some solidarity that it definitely is a pain in the butt to connect the sling back!

3:00 I love this tub! $20 @ walmart or Target and it's been amazing. I'm sad the baby has outgrown it 😢
Sling fabric dries fast and my only complaints were 1) I drilled holes to run a rope to easily hang it on the back of my door, & 2) it has these deep troughs where the feet are and they are hard to clean w/o a bottle brush or tooth brush.
Otherwise, great product for all stages of development

I have the second one. And now that my baby is out of the sling her little butt just slips n slides everywhere. 😂 it’s scary yet exciting for her it’s like a slip n slide. 😂
Omg my daughter does this now as a 20 month old just like swimming in the tub and it gives me a heart attack every night but she’s just all smiles 🤣

Question about the "Skip Hop Moby"... Do the stickers on the inside bother you at all? I've read some reviews about it being messy and hard to remove?
Hey Jasine! Honestly I haven’t tried to take them off, they haven’t come off so far while bathing my baby. If I do, I always use olive oil and Lemon essential oil and that always works pretty well. Hope that helps! 😊

How many months onwards can I use the first bathtub?
Hi Sharon! I personally used the Moby tub from newborn to about 3 months old. Now my daughter and I just bathe together every night. You can use it up until baby is 25 lbs though!

Wash the sling with bleach and soap,line dry...no need to buy another tub
