It's not chrome, but like a darker nickel. Not black, but looks very good in person. Not as shiny as chrome; they picked the right match for this guitar.
I'm about to order this 5150. Need a little help on the fingerboard. I prefer maple fingerboard; I see they offer 5150 ebony fingerboard, and a 5150 Slime Green w/maple fingerboard. Do you find any difference in feel or tone between the two fingerboard woods?
I only ever tried the guitar we had in the video so I can’t really say much about it…plus I am someone who always seems to prefer rosewood or ebony boards over maple! To me it’s definitely more of a looks thing…I’m just not into maple…unless it’s roasted maple

These are great guitars. Kill Switch is fun and the neck is very comfortable. Pickups are good too. Like this 5150 over Wolfie's new guitar.

Totally agree! Gonna get one of these one day, and definitely will put a black Floyd Rose and black tuners and nut on it.

With black hardware it would look better. I like the sounds of this guitar. The color is not my favorite.
