This was what I was looking forward to when you were in Berlin and said you wanted to get back into RUclips. I think its super interesting to get those small tips and ways of approaching things base on work you have already done so you can see what it leads to. Also, its just amazing to see your sketchbook and your artwork in general. I see the "Episode 1" and wait in great anticipation for the next one.
The editing is soooo good! It's cool and fresh, without being intrusive. Obviously the art is amazing too

My favorite part about all this was ahmed looking at all these super serious and probably very story heavy pieces and just saying a goofy thing like "What do you mean were out of soup?!" or "This is MY stick."

I hate when a guy with developed drawing skills shows an amazing sketch drawing and says: "oh look at that, it's terrible", just to pretend they are humble about their art.
It makes the rest lf us feel worse about our own drawing level.
the more you grow in art the more expectation that you put into yourself, also you are more likely to find mistakes in your art and that makes it hard to bring yourself to like it except some few happy accident that you made. It's not really a "Pretend Humble" it's just the natural process of growing

Thanks as always for the great video, Ahmed! You always inspire me to keep drawing and look at my old work with appreciation instead of cringe (or maybe at least alongside the cringe). A suggestion/request? Diversity in your women. There are really cool shapes and characters waiting outside of size-2, 25 year-old, white and Asian-coded female bodies.
