I loved how you used a bow tie to construct the face :'D
Your trick of using simple shapes to show light constuction etc is so helpfull
pro trick: you can watch series on kaldrostream. I've been using it for watching all kinds of movies recently.
@Westley Archer Yup, I've been using Kaldrostream for since december myself =)

your voice is so chill and relaxing that i end up zoning out and missing what youre actually saying lmao
Lolsry I recorded that at 3 am so i was dozing off too lol
Haha 😅 i though i was the only one, at the beginning of most of his videos I’m focused and learning and then kinda sleepy but so much good info and tips every single second

The brushwork on that portrait is nothing short of inspirational
lol really ? to me look like a 30m sketch of a decent artist nothing special
@@razym819 lol u think u can even do this
@@razym819bro is salty asf 🤣🤣
Ahmed explains his works as if he's cooking, talking about all the ingredients and all, and I love it! 😭❤️
He IS cookin'! haha
Man you just pump out extremely useful content
Mullins is an absolute master of pringling, really elevates his pieces above the rest
this was helpful, I was drawing along thinking of lost and found edges and overall design... would love to see more videos like this. thank you for sharing
I want to see your Sterno Cleido Mastoids
I wonder what I did right the past few weeks to be blessed with these regular videos.
This kind of video is incredible. I've always wanted to have a real teacher for art because I have trouble applying what I learn from online resources.
But your stuff teaches me so much and I'll always be grateful for people who put this kind of high quality content out there, especially for free
Learning HOW to study is so helpful and it's so nice seeing you do it. It helps us
Ahmed is the real deal
Ur voice is just so calm and the music in the bg makes it better
Got an Ahmed Aldoori ad before this vid, we are blessed!
I love the new uploads Ahmed! Awesome work. Please keep them coming.
Seeing those paintings inspired and bummed me out so hard, they're amazing.
When I look for value shapes the mighty pallet knife filter REALLY helps out. Kinda just stumbled on it by messing around. Now I try to use it every time I do value study.
As always great video.
Cool video! There's not enough content of professionals talking through how they do their own studies and their thought processes. Lately I've looking at Matisse for shape design and WLOP& Caravaggio for lighting!
Time to "face" the portraits, i was too scared of them, thank you for your wisdom Ahmed ^_^
Never thought about sharp and lost edges that way!
Thanks, video saved me from some pain. Keep up the great work!
Thank you for pointing out what Mullins did and breaking it down. This will be very helpful.
Finding those negative space triangles is a great hack! Now I’m seeing em everywhere
Miss watching your videos

Dayum he likes clowns... oh wait... wait... wait... there, magic.
I have a question: do you ever feel like the 'power level' in the art world has increased by a staggering amount in the past ten years? Ten years ago, when you uploaded your first 'digital painting' video, people were wowed even by those early attempts, Sinix was having success with his landscape paintings and so on, but today the bar where you have something to offer seems to be much, much higher.
It seems to me that Craig Mullins is extraordinary because he's a pioneer, one of the first who showed the potential of digital painting, but *today* the fundamentals he uses are more or less commonplace. I don't see anything extraordinary about that particular Mullins portrait - your technical level along that dimension is probably better than his, even. It's like how the original iphone was amazingly innovative, but today there's no real reason to glorify the modern iterations when other smartphones have similar capabilities.
There is no such thing as advanced drawing. Its all application of the fundamentals.
Really wonderful study!
Your brain is amazing.
You taught me alot right now, boooy am I glad i just stumbled on you video, wish you all the best.
حمادة حبيبي استمر .. صراحة انت فنان عالمي😘💕
This was absolutely what I needed right now, thank you for this amazing video! :D

Dudeeee I just got your ad before your video! :O
This is what quality education looks like. 🧘🏿
so good
Frick yeah
when i looking for how u draw eyes for 3/4 head, thanks!
The best trick is to not think of the subject in terms of shapes, but in terms of head, eyebrow, eye, cornea, suspensory ligament of lens, cells, atoms and the 6 types of quarks. This is how the painter views the world. Last but not least, do not treat what you read on the internets as merely information, no, treat it as something you know to be true. Yes, have a cigar, ride the gravy train.
@Alfonso The Lie Weaver You don’t know and feels like pretty much sums it up. Have a cigar, you are going to go far.
We always want them tricks
thanks share~~

curious, what is the name of the song that plays subtly in the beginning of the video.
Your style reminds me of sinx, did you get any kind of inspiration from him?
You have the Same Name as my father
What's your posting schedule? I feel like I miss everything!

Adobe sensei AI should be smart enough to warn us if we are working on a pasted or FULL pixel layer which normally a pasted or imported picture is.
I prefer to call that V-shaped highlight the Ohio-shaped highlight

if you retitle this as "Craig Mullins portraits technique analyzed and tested", it might get interesting algorithmically and comments gonna pour, all sweet, salty and sour!
FOR GOD'S sake, just copy the markings as a CTRL +SHIFT+ C or use the magic wand to grab all that you need before you go back in history because you made the mistake of doing everything on one layer!!!
DUDE!
Yo calm down lol
