  • Acoustic guitar kerfing (generically, "linings") reinforce the sides of the guitar and provide a gluing surface for the top and back. In this video, I demonstrate how a series of perpendicular lines can be used to create 4 kerfing pieces at once, then use a table saw for the final refinement.

    Man you got all the cool toys to play with at your house. 🤣 I would be having to make that all by hand AFTER I built a miter box

      Yeah…when I got the CNC, I figured I’d make all sorts of cool, not-possible-by-hand types of things. As it turns out, I’ve been using it like a “super jig”.
      Sure, I could’ve made a miter box, but that’s one more thing sitting around. Next, I need to make a radius dish…another jig sitting around. Pretty soon, the shop is full of jigs, no room for working!

      @@zwitchguitars Tool collection is just the sneaky way to getting the wife to think you need a shop upgrade because the tools spread and encroach on the "girl" space in the house.🤣
