That's why I love this channel. I'm in the US so a lot of the coarse fishing is a mystery to me, but it's fishing nonetheless and well presented. It's totally awesome.
After being struck really hard over the past 8 months with my wife's health disabilities and the whole isolation , my mental health and depression was at it's worst , loosing my job and not able to get out to enjoy my love of fishing, your awesome videos graeme have kept me somewhat near the water , so thank you so much for all the videos " Smith " Mable!" It's funny when you loose your marbles 🤣
The sheer amount of happiness on is face after catching that fish made me so happy, I have learnt so much from him over the years and implement them to my fishing and caught so many fish, he will forever be my favorite.
By far the best video I've seen in years. Stunning setting, stunning film and very much a beautiful mixed species lake with stunning fish (I would be quite happy catching a quarter of what you filmed. Apart from the prawn you demonstrated old fashioned methods worked just as well today as they did 50 years ago. Congratulations on your two p.b.'s and thank you so much for sharing this with us.
Wow Graham 😂😂😂😂😂😂not only was this the most education and peaceful fishing video iv seen in a while but your character when you hooked that big in the tears wer running down my face but also on the edge of my seat heart rate thumping !!!You remind me of a certain mr Wilson god rest your soul my dear friend with his infectious laugh but you’ve got these outrageous jumble words you stick together and there just comically perfect and makes you unique in your own right so please Graham keep doing what your doing and thank you for being you.All the very best from Scotland 🏴🏴🏴🏴👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Graeme - the last ~9-10 minutes of this video is honestly one of my all time favourite fishing clips on RUclips! “Holy sh!t monster time guys, monster time” 🤣; you are a totally awesome angler sir, (definitely not a ‘dangler’), and I have so much respect for how you played that fish. Keep up the great content, cheers!
one of my all time favourite videos , its got the lot........cold ravioli , a beautiful setting , a monster fish and one of the best fishermen ever spawned , thanks Graeme !
Well Graeme, what can i say? absolutely loved this session. I look forward to every single one of your videos but this one was a real treat! Fantastic location, weather and the lake to yourself! Its like you've died and gone to heaven. I must say the fish were in great condition too (not like the Jacky stallones we get in our local lake). Typical, the minute you put the food on the gas the rod fly's of the rest. Keep them videos coming Graeme its the only thing keeping us sane!! God bless you sir.
Just love your videos..been watching you for years..you keep it so real I find it easy to relate..I love it when it all kicks off at once..because that's how it happens..luckily you manage to catch it on film...keep up the good work..love your commentary reminds me of john Wilson.
Wow that is an awesome session well done graham breaking personal records all these years later the master of nylon and float rods for sure gotta be one of the most skilled float rod battles ive seen getting a 30lb grass carp in is one hell of a achievement! :D
This channel certainly lives up to its name , all these years you’ve been fishing and you still get excited like it’s your first trip , Totally Awesome, 👍👍👍 long may it continue,
Fantastic setting and venue, Graeme and a great session as well! A Billy Makin canal dart, 2 No.8, 1.5lb bottom, size 20 and single caster was always my go to set up on my local canal, Many 3 and 4lb tench were coaxed out this way.
Seriously really enjoy the fishing an all you do but then you do these random church visits an you no what it really does make it so much more worth the watch I mean TA fishing and TA outdoors are such wicked channels to watch keep it up guys well done 👍🏻 🎣 🪓
You know bud... You've put out a boat load of good videos over the years. But this one by far is your best. Grass Carp or not. You aced this one. Kuddos & thanx for posting.
Totally AWESOME Mr Pullen!! Beautiful venue, right time of year and I learnt so much watching how you played that huge fish :) Massive thanks for sharing my friend :) That really was TOTALLY AWESOME FISHING by the master !
How many different species in that small lake?? Wow so exciting! What a great video and a beautiful setting of tranquility!! Can't wait for your next amazing adventure!!!!
Once again enjoyed watching this brilliant channel, what a beautiful place to go fishing. Somerset is lovely place to live beautiful beautiful countryside like Graham said. Can't wait for the next chapter see you soon.🎣🍷
That last White amur topped off your great fishing video. I have been watching enough of your videos to understand most of what you are saying. Sorry for the language problem but that is my bad. Great show. Hope to do that here in Texas
Another, Totally Awesome video Graeme 🎣🎣👍. Congratulations on that gras-carp 👏👍omfgg 😲. So is that your PB, a Dame shame you didn't weigh that leviathan. 😉 would of been awesome to see the weight of it, compared to the 5lb line on the reel.
Fantastic as always Graeme, i have that fish at 18:30 down as a crucian hybrid. Has the colour, dorsal and tail of a crucian with the body shape of a common. Lovely all the same
What can I say Graeme, awesome fish but equally congrats on the skill with light tackle and line, it just goes to show all these tackle tarts you do not need 3lb test curve rods and heavy braid to catch monsters. well done. best wishes
The dadgum cottonwood trees are bad too in the spring when they start blooming, they’ve got these white fluffy looking things and they fall in the water then that stuff gets all over your line and cloggs your eyes up, on your rods and if you’re not careful you’ll reel that stuff right up into your reel, and then you’ve had it! Geez! Holy sht, what a grass carp! OMG! Good deal Graeme! I love it! I caught a 15 lb grass carp from a pond about that size and that damn thing took me all over that pond , my Dad went back to his car to get his landing net out of the trunk, which we were about a mile from his car, but he went there and back and I was still fighting that fish, actually I think it weighed around 17 lbs., the first grass carp I ever caught.
Graeme Pullen you could find a monster fish in a puddle. I take my hate off to you Sir. Excellent bit of fishing and another excellent video. I'd lost my fishing mojo after my recent heart attack but your videos are rapidly giving it me back. Thanks for all of your hard work, now it's down to me to put in some graft and recover enough to go fishing again.
If you hadn't have had an extra cast you wouldn't have caught that grass carp. What a fish well done G man. From Justin in West Midlands, England 🏴.
The carp are extra feisty after spawning. Even the little ones are giving it welly. Fabulous Grass carp and goes to show with a lot of skill you can land anything on lighter tackle.. Good Job Graham but you should have taken Smith with you
How have I only came across this video oh my well done Graeme I love watching your videos you make fishing simple and it has helped me a lot. Has that lake been closed? Saying permanently closed online I’m looking to take a trip to the mainland fishing as I’m from Northern Ireland and really want to spend a weekend over fishing some of your lakes :)
Had a grass carp take a size 18 spider pattern while targeting wild brownies that had found their way into a small still water i fished in Derbyshire had it on what felt like a lifetime managed to land it but was praying my Greys 9ft6 6wt wasn't going to snap under the strain, was told by the bailiff that it was one of three stocked between 15 18lb still today by biggest fish.
Hi Graeme, Such a relaxing video this one. Watched this in my bed. Been ill for 8 months now and i always make time for your stuff. Number one Graeme. Steve in Fife.
Proper deceiving grass carp, always look bigger than they weigh, looked a similar size to my last one about 20lb, I thought it was pushing 30lb. I only had my light course tackle like you aswell, made for a great fight, even broke my landing net, last cast aswell! 😂. Always nice to catch something different.
yeah that was definitely not a 30lb . I would of said around the 18lb mark. my best m8 had a 36lb grassy in France and the length and girth on it was incredible. should of weighed it Graham. so u wud know wot your new pb is. 😂
Love the video and always great to see that you don't need heavy kit to land a nice fish if your ever near Bedfordshire try wold farm fisheries some lovely still water barble
Graeme haven’t watched this yet, only because I’ve just bagged myself 5 carp today, all thanks to your enthusiasm for fishing (the main reason I started). Hope you are well, and yes I will watch this tonight with a takeaway and a few beers 🍻 👍🏼.
Learnt some new words towards the end of this video 51:38 - holyshitmonstatimeguys hahahahhaah wow amazing catch.
Please go fishing with Graeme , it'll be a hoot , we'd all want to see it .

I’ll definitely second these comments, would be a video to behold, although their styles of fishing differ
Link up guys . Would be great
Brilliant. Absolutely brilliant. I love this channel. No pushing of bait or equipment etc. Just pure, honest fishing with a genuine bloke.
That's why I love this channel. I'm in the US so a lot of the coarse fishing is a mystery to me, but it's fishing nonetheless and well presented. It's totally awesome.
