On CES, DeepCool showed off a CH160 standing on its rear on a skirt with display/readout called CH160 digital next to regular CH160. Could you, pretty please, ask them where did that disappear? It had breathe through side panel with AIO support rails, ability to do a proper chimney effect and made more sense than whatever ITX tower you were able to review on the channel so far..
EDIT: I failed to notice it at 7:07.. Probably in the pipeline still

I'd have zero problem having the chassi on the side to see the cool pixel stuff that you've made. I'm not a big fan of see through glass to begin with, I feel the emphasis is too much on the LOOK rather than functionally with modern chassis. I have an older computer from around 2008-2010 in the closet and it was so easy to understand and disassemble that even I could do it. The computer I have now is so ridiculously overworked to look "cool" that I bet I'd have trouble taking it apart and putting it back together if I ever needed to.

@@michaelg9188 Thermalright is no doubt the budget king. The QA for the dollar you're getting makes it very worthwhile. The heat pipes and fin stack alone are worth it and the two fans are just a bonus that are easily replaced whenever they fail, time will tell but I'm guessing around 4~5 years which is my experience with mid-tier fans.
It's interesting because from where it looks today, performance can't get much better - consumer CPU's will likely get more efficient rather than demanding yet more power like intel's current path. So brands like Noctua are going hard into that reliability + service promise but you have to wonder if it'll last or if budget fans can make the same advances for cheaper. Like, if Thermalright becomes or is really successful, is there much stopping them from offering excellent service on Noctua's level? What does Noctua do then?

14900K owner here. I really hope air cooling evolves because quite frankly, for my specific use as it stands, I just don't like aio's (or water cooling in general). Don't get me wrong, water cooling builds (aio or custom loop) look awesome, and for thermals it's almost always better, but I like the reliability and peace of mind of never having to worry about leaks or pump failure.
I am almost tempted to wait for this new crop of air coolers, see how they do in testing, and figure out a way to direct die cool on air. Perhaps with that I can maybe get somewhat similar thermals to an aio with an IHS.
High (albeit realistic) hopes for these air coolers, truly.

I have tried generic double tower heatsink solutions - they have 2 major drawbacks compared to aio systems, the tubes at the base spread a lot of heat and the ram is closeby, I had to build a custom fan solution to remove that heat with a fans card right below the cpu, and the other is they spread heat inside the case instead of directly outside as the aio does ... Given a way to generate a fixed amount of heat regardless of output temperature, (aka a calibrated output heat load, not a CPU with all its parameters locked down and a known repeatable workload), I'd say the ideal method to test coolers would be the following:
For the "absolute performance" metric of air coolers, you would simply set the fans so that they would run at full speed, and measure the cold plate's temperature rise over ambient.
For the "noise normalized performance" metric of air coolers, you would instead set the quietest cooler's fans to 100%, set the fan speed of all the other coolers to match that noise level, and then once again measure cold plate temperature over ambient.
This seems to cover the two most common use cases for when someone wants to upgrade the cooling solution for their CPU, namely:
    1. "I want my CPU to not throttle as often/be able to be overclocked more"
    2. "The speed of my CPU is fine, but I want my PC to make less noise"
These are really just two sides of the same coin, and an increase in cooling effectiveness will achieve either one roughly equally well assuming a linear relationship between fan noise and cooling performance (per each cooler, the slope of the line relating the two variables will likely be at least slightly different for each cooler, with larger coolers that use slower fans being better at noise lowering, and larger coolers that use faster fans being better at absolute performance).

I would have thought the biggest challenge would have been structural, Vapour Chambers are not nearly as solid against super high pressure as a solid block of copper. Due to orientation; CPU's coolers are under a lot more bend stress near the thermal contact than GPU coolers; where the pcie connection is the break/bend point if anywhere. lol.
