Great video Dennis Is there any chance that you could share where you got and the type of leather that you prefer for the black middle piece and the toe strap? I know you said it was veg tan leather but in my mind veg tan is raw and not colored like it is for the material you used? Gary Quedenfeld
I noticed that you no longer add the wooden “shank”. Did they not last? The hole through the rubber sole, I assume is to accommodate changing the toe thong. Were are they wearing out? Doesn't that expose the inside to dirt and wear? The nylon toe thing can be abrasive. Is it better than a folded leather thong? Thank you! M

when applying the wax coats would it help to use a hair dryer to help wax soak into leather?
Dennis,what heat gun are you using?
Is that beveler adding a crease too?
do you think its possible to put a thin layer of gel between leather layers for added comfort? or not really needed?
