My name is Brittany and I am a native English speaker from the United States of America.
I am an experienced English teacher with a Cambridge CELTA certification and a Master's degree in Language and Literacy Education (with a specialty in teaching English to adults) from the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, Canada.
I've taught English in the United States, Canada, France, Japan, and South Korea. I currently live in Canada with my husband (a native French speaker) and our son, who we are raising bilingual (English-French).

Brittany, can you give soma advice how to teach speaking skills to children?
@@1YouCanSpeak1 hi! I think my biggest piece of advice would be to be patient and keep it positive. In my experience, my son just wants connection with us and to play.
He’s learning English and French at home but we never force him or insist that he speak one or the other. We just try to make what he is doing in those languages meaningful and fun (it’s not always easy!).
