The mistake many Jamaicans make when relocating is thinking they can move back to the same neighbourhood they left and associate with the same people. Don’t underestimate having a strong support network when you move because if you don’t, you are extremely vulnerable. Family and friends can switch up in a minute! Be careful of who you put in your circle of trust. Also don’t move to JA with just savings, secure stable income. Building a house can easily be a money pit. Got money, spend money on the right neighbourhood - not just the cheapest land you can find. Don’t move to Jamaica with rose coloured glasses, I love Jamaica but it is not for the naive and trusting...
Factsssss Jamaica is hard af....Annesha sounds like she has everything set...her mom owns several properties so I guess they are living off that income and they travelled there on a regular basis so there community is used to her! And if it ever gets too hard she can always go back to Canada.
Michelle Gove I would recommend anyone moving back to JA to consider the neighbourhood they are moving into. It is not to say that everybody inna JA badmind but you have to take precaution. The president of the Returning Residents Association has advised against moving back the 2nd year in a row. I’m just rightly telling people to be careful.
I'm so happy for this channel encouraging us to return back home, when I watch other channels discouraging our people from returning home, and foreigners are moving in to Jamaica and buy up lands and starting businesses, if Jamaica is so bad how come these people are coming by the boat full and plane full?
You can send money through western union to yourself, because you get a better rate when you're in the state's, then when you're in Jamaica, i did it and it was so easy to get my money.
I wish I could move to Jamaica (I'm Haitian descent) I have a friend from Montreal who moved to Jamaica and she now owns an Air BnB down there . I want that freedom and the SUN especially at this time of year.
The transition for you wouldn't be hard because Jamaica is not only where you visit often but you have very close family members. I enjoyed this video and it's very informative for anyone who is thinking on moving home for good. It's not easy for those who don't have family out there, and if you own your home you only pay property taxes each year. I bring my phone and just get a Sim card. Traveling with cash you only allowed $10,000, unless you have provided prove of business, even Western Union have restrictions..lol looking forward to your next video ❤️
This is true cause I don't have family there any more but I've friends but not friends who might be ok with me living in for a while cause they have spouses etc

Buy a house house/apartment in a proper gated community. PLEASE DO NOT BUILD, TRUST ME ITS A NIGHTMARE and there is an issue with finding professional builders .Not all so called gated communities are truly gated. If u choose to build u need to be on site every single day otherwise it could end in tears. You are hearing from a Jamaican and a victim.
How to move to Jamaica: Step 1: Sort out housing, better to do it in person. It might take a couple trips. Excellent advice. Step 2: Be a Jamaican citizen. Sigh...
Question? How much is it to get hair washed and blown in Jamaica? Nails too ..manicure/ pedicure...also eyelashes....can u do a vlog for pricing for womens beautification in ja please?

It maybe cheaper to buy the furniture here, from small businesses owned by the Indians, than shipping down furniture. Well in Mandeville that is.. Also, with renting either make sjre you have a car or it is easy to get taxi. Also, moving depends on the area, negril, Kingston St Andrew, ocho rios montego bay all scream expensive.

There are different ways to get citizenship. Check out the Citizenship section on your local Consulate General of Jamaica's website. Annesha did citizenship by descent.

cost of living is very high here in the usa as well...i think some of these people do not follow current affairs...notice what is going on in the world...
She has a wonderful personality and wisdom but she's also somewhat naive, her mom already built her a foundation (homes both in Jamaica and Canada plus possibly other things) all Annesha has to do is stand on that said foundation, if she had to pay rent or build a house, she wouldn't be this chirpy, especially with her job as a vlogger, she also has access to the Canadian health and social care net, let's (God forbid) see if she were to fall ill, if she would be able to get it done in Jamaica and PAY for it....her mom is wonderful, built a solid foundation that Annesha and her siblings can eventually inherit, "young bud no know storm" imagine all the young people living in Jamaica with a basic or no jobs...how they cope only God knows...cost of living is brutal in Jamaica....😑😑😑😑😑😑
