Awesome list! Man, there is SO SO SO much to do in Queenstown. We were there 10 days, did an activity (or 2) every single day AND still only did about half the things you mention on this list. We did do Skippers Canyon jet though which, we agree with you, was pretty awesome thanks to the whole journey getting there on that ridiculous gnarly road, but we have to warn you guys to NOT underestimate the scariness of the Ledge Bungy! Running and jumping into the abyss is so surreal and Robin (part of our backpacker squad here on our channel) nearly passed out! Had to get the doctors in and everything. Haha. Anyway, awesome content - we love what you do here on YT :) Can't wait for more NZ videos!
there are other places in nz you can do these activities on bit cheapest side, i don't know why i never like queenstown, probably too crowded over price even parking cost me $16 for less than 3 hours and took 30 mins to find parking, rather go west coast or mt cook
Sneaky wee fact for ya. The jet boat, bungy, and canyon swing are all kiwi inventions. I just think doing those things in NZ makes it all the bit better.
The Bungy jump is actually something that was done in the Papua New Guinea or Vanuatu areas first, before it was done in the U.K, AJ Hackett just improved on it.
How would you compare Milford Sound to Doubtful Sound? I like the idea of the journey across Wilmot Pass and the smaller crowds for Doubtful Sound. Is it as beautiful as Milford Sound?
I've done 3 out of the first 4 mentioned - Nevis bungy, Jet boating although mine was the KJET the yellow one which was great fun and milford sound is amazing - I love New Zealand :)
Hey! This is by far the best video I have found during my research for Queenstown. It’s a once in a lifetime trip for me and my friends. One quick questions would Mid-March be ideal to visit Queenstown or should we prepone it, we do want to do the Wanaka Lavender fields as well along with the gorgeous hikes. Please guide us know how to plan it well.
This has made me so excited to get to queenstown and get some vlogging done there!! Currently in Christchurch right now but will. Be heading down in September 😍
WOW and more!! We just visited during the first week of February 2020 and mere words cannot describe not only the beauty and liveliness of life and activities there, but much has to be said for the wonderful outgoing and friendly residents. If I had my life to live over, New Zealand would be my first choice.
Best star gazing near Queenstown is at a sky slope called Cardrona. Make sure you go. It's $150 which includes transfer and dinner. Telescope experience and no light pollution!!!!
We are on hols in Queenstown right now! We did the TSS Earnslaw today. Epic. That engine room though. The scenery looks painted on it's that good. Doing the gondola/luges tmrw. Also, not adrenaline, but Arrowtown is worth mentioning. Not too far away n the food there is insane n the Historical Chinese settlement is so worth a look Xx
Walk up to Ben Lomond . Cost you nothing, amazing walk with incredible views. Can get fairly technical in the snow up to November so don't take it lightly. strange that no natural/low cost activities were mentioned in this presentation considering how awesome nature is in this area
Kawarau bridge is where I went bungy jumping and maaaan what an experience! My highlight of Queenstown for sure, other than just its complete and utter beauty! Skippers canyon was epic, definitely added to the experience by driving on that crazy road haha.
Yay! More Queenstown!! As a pilot, my bucket list would include the flight into the Queenstown airport. The mountain approach is beautiful and can be challenging for some pilots. I believe you have some video of that on Facebook... Nice drone footage in the video...(oops, maybe I shouldn't have mentioned that!) Great video as always!
Bill McCaleb Yaas the flight into Queenstown is soooo beaut! My favourite in the world for sure! 😍 Hahahaha 😭😭😭 drone is always a touchy subject but I couldn't resist including the footage 🙈
Did bunjee jumping 43m one🤪😍Shotover jet.. Milford Sound⛰😍 Helicopter Ride to Earnslaw Burn through Heliworks!! Amazing waterfalls. 😍😍😍😍Loveeeeed our trip to Nz. Expensive yes but worth every single penny!!! Must do atleast once in your life!! 😍👫😃
Thank you very much for this, I am also planning on going to live there for a year, currently in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. Muchisimas Gracias. Lovely eyes btw.
This video is so helpful! Heading to NZ soon, and am now definitely unsure of which of these amazing activities to do in the only 2 days we'll be in Queenstown T.T
You should of mentioned the remarakable sweet shop, the beat sweet shop in the world, i have been to over 30 sweet shops, and the remarakable sweet shop there is the best, especially the fudge, it is truley amazing
How would you compare Milford Sound to Doubtful Sound? I like the idea of the journey across Wilmot Pass and the smaller crowds for Doubtful Sound. Is it as beautiful as Milford Sound?
Great video. Going on my first trip next week. This was extremely helpful! With the restaurant on number 8, what's it called and do you recommend booking?
Honestly I moved around so much 😅 I lived on Queenstown Hill, out towards Frankton, in Fernhill, in Arthur's Point, right in the centre of town... I experienced it all! Haha
It is good enough for sure! But you can skydive in many other places around NZ and the world so it is not quite so 'unique' to Queenstown. That's why it didn't make the top list 😊
@@BackpackingBananas I ll be visiting Queenstown soon and I want to skydive, should I skydive here or do that in some other place in New Zealand or elsewhere?
omg I love new zealand IS THE BEST COUNTRY IN THIS PLANET * - * and you haves many activities there, I'm from Chile and my dream is fly to NZ and study english because in this country we only learn spanish :( but well that is my reality from chile: 3 U HAVE A BEAUTIFUL COUNTRY and the best lenguague in the world

I like that you talk a lot but not spoil too much by showing only little video footage. Also you have a nice energy! I like it!
Queenstown owes you bigtime. Well done Pom
Been saving for a nearly a year and I'm finally visiting NZ! This only makes me more excited for the 4 days I'm spending there :D nice video x
there are other places in nz you can do these activities on bit cheapest side, i don't know why i never like queenstown, probably too crowded over price even parking cost me $16 for less than 3 hours and took 30 mins to find parking, rather go west coast or mt cook
For me the drive into Milford Sound was more memorable/beautiful than Milford Sound itself !! Absolutely breathtaking
Best Queenstown to do list ever.
Sneaky wee fact for ya. The jet boat, bungy, and canyon swing are all kiwi inventions. I just think doing those things in NZ makes it all the bit better.
bungy was actually invented in Bristol, UK but you have the others :) Queenstown however is awesome and is like Disneyland for adults
@@chazthehoon Your right, however, A.J. Hackett took it to the mainstream,
The Bungy jump is actually something that was done in the Papua New Guinea or Vanuatu areas first, before it was done in the U.K, AJ Hackett just improved on it.
@Spark1275 Aj Hackett did it in the 80s.the English guys did it first in 1979, it's not a Kiwi first i'm afraid.
Year it's all good until it all goes wrong
I concur... Its all go in Queenstown. Loved the video. Thanks.
I live in Queenstown NZ for about 14 years, I love this plc but it's a bit expensive. This plc is like heaven...👍👌😊
It is heaven indeed 😊
I live there too, kinda sad how much it's changed over the past ten year because of tourism, almost kinda ruined it in a way
How would you compare Milford Sound to Doubtful Sound? I like the idea of the journey across Wilmot Pass and the smaller crowds for Doubtful Sound. Is it as beautiful as Milford Sound?
Jealous on you. I finally live in QT now.
Queenstown is a place more beautiful than the paradise in my dream.
Thanks Christianne, great video :)
I want to go there so badly, there’s so many incredible things to do 😍
I am living in NZ. And the queenstown is one of the most beautiful place in the world!!
Thanks for all the advice. Will be visiting next week. Can't wait!!
I’ve been in Queenstown and it was absolutely beautiful and an amazing experience
WOW, you are a "daredevil"...the bungee jump looked awesome!
HAHAHA I love how you backflipped off the swing HAHA
We loved our trip to NZ! Awesome video :)
Still planning on making the winter activities video? Can't wait to do a bit of snowboarding when I head over there next year!!!
I've done 3 out of the first 4 mentioned - Nevis bungy, Jet boating although mine was the KJET the yellow one which was great fun and milford sound is amazing - I love New Zealand :)
Ah cool! You got a good few ticked off 😁
Backpacking Bananas Yeh :) did the luge to was such a brilliant place just such a trek from United Kingdom haha
The skippers canyon jet boat is amazing. It's a drive but it's a tour. Same as the Milford Sounds one too
Queenstown looks amazing particularly Milford Sound! I have travelled all across the north island, but apparently need to go to the south now!!!
Kieran W yaaaassss🙌🏼

I just like snowy mountains and staying indoors when its cold
I went there in 1987 during Christmas and I’ll tell you what a place. I was USN Navy and that place about tops it.
So excited for the queenstown content coming !!

Heading to Queenstown with my clan for our first time next week...To tick that bucket list box!

The Luge and th earnslaw is AMAZING because I basically go there every year or two since I live in NZ !
Done both, really good things to do
I was born in Queenstown. I’m surprised you pronounced Kawarau correctly! Good job. Also, NZONE and skydive paradise are the same company ☺️
The helicopter looks amazing!
Lottie Gibbons It was soooooo cool 🙈🙈
This video is so helpful! Heading to NZ soon, and am now definitely unsure of which of these amazing activities to do in the only 2 days we'll be in Queenstown T.T
It’s a tough one! Good to check the weather beforehand which might help you make your mind up 😊
You should of mentioned the remarakable sweet shop, the beat sweet shop in the world, i have been to over 30 sweet shops, and the remarakable sweet shop there is the best, especially the fudge, it is truley amazing
Skippers canyon jet actually crashed just a few days ago with 9people injured
Woooow amazing list to do, thank you
Can't wait to go
How would you compare Milford Sound to Doubtful Sound? I like the idea of the journey across Wilmot Pass and the smaller crowds for Doubtful Sound. Is it as beautiful as Milford Sound?
Street Fighter Alpha an overnight cruise on doubtful sound was probably the best thing we did during our whole trip.
What about an amazing surise Balloon Tour with Sunrise Balloons! Just got back and that was at the top of our list :)
I'm a kiwi and I rlly like this list but I dont get why Milford sound is in it? It's not in queenstown?
Queenstown is a place more beautiful than the paradise in my dream.
Hi guys I am going in june and wonderd how many of the above activities are available then as its winter thanks
Cool. You did that right 👊👍
Awesome list! Going there in a week's time!!!
Could you share the prices for these activities?
TIA!
Dart river jet boat or skippers canyon ?
You've certainly caught on to some kiwis humungis slangs.
Hi, is it possible to do Jetboat and Nevis bungy or Kawarau bungy in one day?
Just wondering what the weather is like Mid September
I love in New Zealand and my dad went bungee jumping in queenstown
Hey great video, thanks! Would you happen to know which side of the plane is best to sit on flying into Queenstown (from Wellington)?
Honestly either side is spectacular.
THANK YOU!!! so excited to go :)
veevee loe Yaaayyyy ❤️❤️
Nice 🎉
I went on the ledge bungee jumping last year when I was 11
I'm going to queenstown for my honeymoon in literally 3 days, and this has been so helpful!
Been there. Queenstown is fantastic!!
if i took a road trip to glenorchy what do you recommend me to do other than visiting the paradise? :)
Scratch bungy jumping for moi. I can never ever do though seems it will be a good cover photo
You forgot the Fly By Wire, epic ride as well.
Great video. Going on my first trip next week. This was extremely helpful!
With the restaurant on number 8, what's it called and do you recommend booking?
Question... Eyelashes are banging.. What's your mascara?? 😊😊
How many days are enough to cover those bucket list?
welcome home..awesome video
Thank you!
Where did u live whilst u stayed in queenstown for a year? I'm planning on doing the exact same but would appreciate a touch of ur experience!!!! X
Honestly I moved around so much 😅 I lived on Queenstown Hill, out towards Frankton, in Fernhill, in Arthur's Point, right in the centre of town... I experienced it all! Haha
It would have been better if you could tell us about the cost of every thing u mentioned!
I have to watch this for my english homework #🇫🇷
Haha that's amazing! Hope it's going okay 😊
@@BackpackingBananas yeah, it's going well, that's not so hard 😊
Oh me too what a surprise
❤️❤️
Going in 2 weeks from Ireland as a family trip. Can you recommend anything to do with kids. My daughter is only 6
Why did you not add skydiving in the main bucket list? Is it(skydiving) not good enough in Queenstown?
It is good enough for sure! But you can skydive in many other places around NZ and the world so it is not quite so 'unique' to Queenstown. That's why it didn't make the top list 😊

What about any mtn biking?
Love from mumbai ! (India) ❤🙌🏼
The video is good. But you forgot to specify the links and details about all the places you mentioned in the video.
People can do that themselves no? 🙃
HI!! I'm just wondering where are you from ;) btw i love this video, you could make some more NZ trip videos
wow I need to go soon
planning to visit in winter for 25 days, should i travel by bus or renting a car is abetter option?
Definately rent a car
How on earth did you miss mountain biking Queenstown is literally the best place for it
But what about the fear factory
Have been unsure if I would want to go to New Zealand, don't think all that campervan life is for me, but maybe there's other ways to do it.
Bo Stark I've travelled around New Zealand twice, neither times was in a Campervan 🙈 First was bus and hostels. Second was car and motels. ☺️
You definitely got me thinking. Going snowboarding in NZ would be an absolute dream.
How tf do you miss the ski field
I have been on some of them in new zealand
Born and breed nzer and never at all been to queenstown or southisland lol
