- I do some inshore fishing near the main body of the bay and run into some huge fish patrolling the flats for innocent bystanders. I pitch a small plastic towards a couple big shadows and bite off more than I can chew. Happily.

Awesome video! You fought that Jack like a champ!
Crazy runs!!!! Nice video!
Thank you !
I’m behind you right now on the road
Great video, what is your rod lenght?
Awesome setup! Thats exactly why i mostly use a 2500 size reel because you don't need that much line capacity to land a fish for most inshore fishing
Thanks! Exactly. A 1000 or 2500 has all the line you need for inshore fishing. I prefer fishing as lightweight as possible.
@@ScottMikles I landed a 10lb sting ray from the beach with a 2500 Stradic FL 10lb braid. After that I was so amazed of what a 2500 size reel can do. It was a flat calm day with no waves. It probably would have been much harder to land him if the waves were bigger though.
I go 3000, might as well if you’re already at 2500
@@ainjuhl4509 3000 size reel is nice but your spending extra money on braid. 150meters of 10lb braid will fill up a 2500 reel. Thats all you need. The only time i would buy a 3000 is if your using 15lb braid. I personally prefer using 10lb braid. I don’t fish around alot of structure, plus 10lb braid has more than enough strength for most fish.
I have the 4000 FK. Nice reels huh? when reeling a fish, its like a pulley system, no?
What rod do you have paired up with the Stella
A 7 ft. Shimano Teramar XX
What brand of braid are you using?
That's Nomad Design Panderra. Changes color every 10 meters.
Your right ...Mr. Jack Crevalle is a bad man !
Is the 1k even practical or did you get it for fun? 2500 wouldn't be that much heavier right?
Under 2 ounces I believe.
What pound braid?
10lb.
@@ScottMikles awesome content!!!
Even at 30lbs I struggled against a Jack since its such a strong fighting fish that it straightened out the hook.
That fish will tire you out
