This brotha sounds good. I love the mellow setting in a hammond I think it is superbly overrated. Such a nostalgic and calming sound when the leslie kicks in. And great playing overrall you sound amazing man.
Nice! I managed to find a 145 last year and was sooo excited but it sounds like my washing machine when I've left all my loose change in my pocket :-) Just waiting on the local techie letting me know when he can give it a good overhaul.
Also here is a silly question. Or is it? If the Hammond SK series organs have a built in Leslie simulator, why do you need to play through an actual Leslie speaker? What other amp/speaker combination would accurately reproduce the organ’s sounds just as they are produced?
Well, a real leslie speaker sounds more realistic than any simulator. I think it’s like guitar players and their tube amps. You need to sit down and play a real leslie to really get the sound.
Wow... this is quickly becoming one of my favorite pieces of music... what great sound and feel!!
Thank you very much!❤️
Love that chord at 0:18.
Thank you! Some kind of D minor.
Love it … I wait my xk5 classic

Thanks! Much appreciated!
Nice playing! How do you connect your XK5 to the Leslie?
Thanks! This leslie has a 11-pin connection. That’s the main reason I bought it.
Very soulful playing, Rickard! Love your style of chord structure and phrasing. Just beautiful!!!
Thank you very much!
Just brilliant. Love it
Thank you!
That tone is majestic right from the start. Loved those runs too.
Thanks! The XK5 is really great but the 145 is the real deal!
Very soulful with sincerity! LIke the B and W vid and the Xk-5 tones. I'd say that dual manual XK-5 clone is the one to beat.
Thanks! It’s a really great organ indeed!
Grymt. ❤
