I think what’s most astounding about this entire build, is the fact that you were able to make it happen in SketchUp. The only thing I was able to create in that program in the 10+ years I used it, was problems.

Poor diagonal cutters :))) You could use some solder at the end of that steel wire, to make it less fuzzy and sharp. Cool project!

This is very good. But as it runs in gas engine, the impact force during collision is great, metal frames are more appropriate, or the longitudinal pieces need to be at least. I remember that, when I was young 40 yrs ago, I implemented front wheel drum brake on a 1/10 gasoline off-road car, but, as the tire width was thin and car weight was light, the dragging force effect on the ground was not great. When I grew up 20yrs ago, there was 3d printing, but it's not as popular as today, I used my working company's one; an industrial SLS type to print parts for my design SUV R/C car as for my leisure fun toy use. It's an electrical motor operated some diy designed 4 speed gear shift one. I did less on gasoline engine R/C car, you are good and suceed to build it, it is more realistic than electric type. You done a smooth surface modeling in car body. Nowadays, it can be done easier as seen the type of better software you used. Back in that year, I used ProE's Pro-surface, it was a parametric one, it was much difficult to use and the outcome was not so good

You need steel roll cage with hand made fibre glass body panels and brass sub frame for front middle and rear with 30 % nitro methane for full power at around 45000 rpm and between 6 to 8 thousand rpm to the wheels with a custom high rpm friction clutch ,, I’m just saying I kinda know first hand

    Love it!
Cant wait to see it run!
For the brake wires, maybe you could put a screw with nut throug the brake wire hole. drill a hole in the screw head(sockethead). and put the wire throu the head. then thay are induvidually adjustable.
Do you think it will handle the torque, or are you planning to drive it carefully?
Can you turn down your music? I manually controll the volume to switch between too hear what you say, or quickly turn down the volume so i dont wake up the hole house

The brake works good so far, I will have to test it with engine to know that, sorry about the music, it was low, but after render, it came out high, next time will be better

@ajahniepemberton1860 I would recommend waiting for the transmission and clutch stuff. Rn the clutch is mounted to the body while pushing into the engine causing the engine to be pushed on the mounts ebeyrtime you engage the clutch which is weird
