    I went with the BX23s because of the much better snowblower and the dealer support is awesome from my dealer. The 1025r is awesome though my favorite feature was the loaders ability to pick up the mower deck.

    I like JD and I have owned one. Very dependable tractors. Now I bought a Bx23 Kubota because of the price. JD was to expensive. I like my Kubota so far.

    Only thing I had to look at was the dumb forward and reverse pedal on the kubota

      That is on factor for me leaning to a 1020R... I am a right leg Lower amputee "pegleg" and the treddle peddle would not be user friendly to me...

    You just flat out lied 🤥 ignoring that the Kubota in front of you has the skid steer style quick dismount for the bucket ! It’s right in front of you! Hence I have the BX !

    • @KoenigEquipment
      @KoenigEquipment  Год назад +1

      Hi, our apologies for the misleading statement. James was trying to note the difference between "most Kubotas" rather than this particular tractor, which does have the skid steer carrier you mentioned. We see how that was a confusing statement, but please know it is not our intent to bash Kubotas, rather, just give an overall assessment to help people find what tractor works best for their needs. We are confident you are enjoying your BX!

    James is a little confused. The JD tractor is really nice but his information on the Kubota is off. The Kubota has a quick detach bucket, its the two gray levers on the top back of the loader bucket. Also the loader assembly comes off without getting off the tractor. There is a lever you reach from the seat to release the stand for the loader, you do not get off the tractor. For me the Kubota was about $3K cheaper with the same implements, but that depends on the dealers you have in the area.

      Tyler, there are pros and cons to both models, and our goal with this video was to provide a helpful comparison so people can choose what works best for their needs. The Kubota model used in this video had pins holding the loader stand and required dismounting from the tractor to set them up. It also did not have the upgraded release for the loader stand as the newer models do. You are correct about the quick detach bucket. James was trying to explain that the quick release was more difficult to use than the John Deere bucket, but he should have mentioned that Kubota does have a quick detach bucket. Our apologies for that. Both machines are impressive and we're happy that you are enjoying your Kubota!

      The goal of this video was to convince people the JD is better..."Let's compare a lower RPM lift on the Kubota to a higher RPM lift on the JD" seems fair. How do you slight a machine for providing a lower RPM in the throttle? The TLB package is also no where near a couple hundred dollars difference.

    • @KoenigEquipment
      @KoenigEquipment  Год назад

      @@ericaskew330 Eric, our experts do believe that although these models are comparable and both are impressive, John Deere outperforms the Kubota. Pricing can vary depending on what dealership you go through, eligible discounts, financing, etc. At the end of the day, we recommend taking the time to research and find the brand, model, and price that works best for you!

    Hard to beat the 1025R in the 1 series class. Resale is 2nd to none as well.

    I’ve had a 1025R since 2015. It’s been fantastic and the ease of removing the loader and deck is worth it ! I hate mowing with the loader on. The ride is rough and it doesn’t maneuver as well. Also dangerous when not on flat ground unless you got real weights on. So the JD strips down to just a nice lawn mower with ease and everything can be put back on with ease to return it to tractor duties. It’s like a Swiss Army knife 🔪.
    My neighbor has the kubota and he just bought a 2nd lawn mower rather than deal with removing his loader to mow the lawn in comfort. Yes he can mow with loader on…it’s just not very comfortable. He’s like me and hates mowing with weight of loader on front and rough ride. He wishes he bought the JD. The kubota is a great tractor but if you want your compact tractor to serve as full time lawn mower too then the JD wins by a mile. Without the loaded on it rides and turns great and doesn’t feel heavy and tippy. And since it’s so easy to do you don’t mind taking it on and off.
