Excellent breakdown of the mechanics of bagua! Thank you!

This proves what I have suspected, that bagua is useful as a healing practice. This will help me regain comfort and utility of my shoulders after surgery two years ago.

I had wonderful luck with this form as a therapeutic for my separated shoulder. My most favorite drill for shoulder rehab is this on ruclips.net/video/QyEr9g8ftaA/видео.html its a bit intense so take your time working into it.

Thank you for the detailed, details. Guess if there were a starting point for Liang, this would be it. Then single palm change and onward. We need a book!

That was an awesome breakdown. If you can treat the transitions with as much care as you did these postures, it would be a great resource.
Forgive my ignorance, though, but could you explain the eye patch?

Absolutely, I lost most of the sight in my right eye a year ago due to an acute shingles attack. I found that the eye patch helps mitigate the headaches from my lack of vision.

Sympathy for the shingles! I got the chicken pox as a kid, and I certainly thought it was no fun. My g'ma later had shingles, and I realize how bad - how much worse! - they can be. Glad you're finding ways to mitigate the lasting effects.
