Dark Souls 3 - Soul of Cinder, SL1 No Damage

I think SoC is the toughest base game fight, he has a lot of attacks with follow-ups and bad luck can really screw you. Awesome boss, but he can be rough with his complex patterns
For first phase, he starts with the greatsword moveset and I actually prefer this one. I'll try and roll backwards on any second followups because he can do either a quick slash or a delayed slash which can roll catch you. If you dodge back, he'll often do a third thrust as a follow which you can easily punish.
He has two 2-handed attacks, a quick golf swing and a delayed one, but it's too slow to roll catch you. For the golf swing, he can chain another one if you attack him too early, so wait until he finishes it. The delayed one gives you loads of time for a hit.
Lance form isn't too bad, he can use a few miracles and has some quick attacks. To dodge the spin move with one roll, just wait until the last second and go on his left. It can be a bit more awkward if he does it right next to you though. He has this quick swing at your feet, so don't stand too close, just far enough to get him to thrust/charge or spin.
Curved sword moveset sucks; he can parry you, and he can be really aggressive. Wait for his R2-style attacks or when he uses pyromancies to get a dodge R1 in. His sorcery phase is super easy, just get behind him and the soul mass will always miss, whilst soul stream lets you just wail on him.
The Gwyn phase always starts with a jump you can punish, followed by his explosion combo. I prefer to stay at mid-range and bait out his jumps or his spells because they're super easy to punish with a dodge R1; he can follow-up the jump with a 2-handed slam btw. His ult (?) is easy to dodge, just sprint to the side. The real challenge is minding the plin plin plon
