Nothing personal to the YXZ guy… but this video is exactly why I went with an X3. Where the YXZ struggled the X3 cruised. Nice ride regardless, fellas.
It definitely seems as though it is more effortless for him with the low range on some obstacles but I get to rev out and bang gears like a race car. The YXZ was not designed for trail riding. I weighed all the options before and after my purchase (especially after swapping cars for a bit) but I chose to stay with the bulletproof Yami. Thanks for the comment and for watching!
Just got my yxz a few weeks ago. Waiting on my trailer now. I'm so sick of waiting to get it on the trails. I noticed a couple of times the dead zone of the gas pedal. That's going to be the learning curve for me. Especially since I will be riding on trails.
I feel you. Tough having something like that and not being able to use it. Is yours the sport shift as well? You get used to that clutch engagement delay after a while but it still can hit hard over obstacles. Weller makes the IRP which helps with that but good luck getting one right now.
It’s a nice place to ride and they are continually updating it. It has something for every type of riding but I prefer bringing the sxs rather than the 2 wheel machines (it tends to get very muddy after rain). Most of the trails are one way and are marginally marked with direction and difficulty. The views at the scenic location and the Atlanta overlook are gorgeous. Plenty of places to WOT. Prices are very reasonable.
Same here. I like the one way fast flow trails. Especially now that Durham town closed . its hard to find that type or riding. Look forward to checking this place out.
@@PumpkinvineATVClub , Yes it is, Iron Mountain doesn't compare to Indian Mountain. Durhamtown still the best if you want to haul ass. I put my 30" tires back on the car for DP.

Yeah cell phones never help show how steep something is. but it does show how wide canams are.

No offense but maybe when I'm 60-70+ I'll find myself doing something like this for fun! 🤙
You'll be saying "Damn, why didn't I do this sooner?"
They need more trails
It’s fairly new, give it time. Every time we go we end up finding more trails that we didn’t see last time.
He's going to find that the Yamaha makes hill climbing way more difficult.
To slow crawl a hill, yeah for sure but you just have to send it!
Is the yxz a 3 pedal or sport shift? Nice video
Sport shift sir.
Awesome video hoping to get mine in a week or so same as yours but gytr turbo 3 pedal
@@geraldhawkins2643 thank you. I debated back and forth about getting the full manual but I really like the sport shift, like driving a Lambo, haha
How's iron mountain? Thinking of going there is there any places there to just rip and haul ass plus nice fun fast trails with views?

Indian Mountain is hands down best riding around unless you make a 3 to 4 hr trip to Windrock, that's a whole different world.
