MSM sax orch concert sampler Dec 2023

This fall at the Manhattan School of Music, the saxophone studio enjoyed amazing good fortune. With the help of colleagues and alumni, our sax ensemble became a saxophone orchestra of 17 plus percussion! That allowed me to create an ensemble from sopranino to contrabass and to explore the full tonal resources of the group.
The good fortune continued, as we were given Neidorff-Karpati Hall, the great performance space in the school. It is used for orchestra and opera productions and has fabulous acoustics.
I created a program to highlight the sound of the saxophone orchestra as well as to feature all of the instruments, including the sopranino and contrabass.
