First time RepublicBricks made “custom” figures, I already knew most of the parts were knockoff since I had many of them. AliExpress >>>>> RepublicBricks.
You certainly have a lot of experience with knockoffs so I’m guessing you knew how cheap they cost compared to how much he charges for them😂

I was worried his products would stand out too much for a “fake Lego” video but so many of his minifigs used knockoff parts that it weirdly fits😂
On a serious note, I hope he fixes those product listings that say “UV printed on all official Lego parts” when the minifig being advertised has knockoff parts. It’s a simple fix that could improve his reputation a bit
@@micahnike18 Yeah that's a good point, and not only is it misleading to consumers but it could get him into legal troubles because he's technically claiming counterfeit product is real. Also LEGO doesn't allow counterfeit product to be sold at all, it's a wonder he is still able to offer knockoff parts with his figures.

I always knew Republic Bricks' quality was bad, but WOW. Timmy has zero care for his product, or maybe this is just part of the Republic Bricks x Temu collab
Going into this, I thought the Republic Bricks hate was exaggerated but I wasn’t impressed with the majority of his minifigs. I hope he takes the time to focus more on upping the quality of his products and starts making changes to make his business practices more ethical

The visors on the Aliexpress clones are wierd because they put the helmet holes in "the right spot", according to you and MandRProductions. If you actually look at where the visors attach in the movies, it's above those nubs, not on them.
Tbf to MandR, I assume he wants the visor to be remolded so it works with the lore-accurate helmet hole placements

Best Chinese knockoffs figs are from WM Blocks, XINH and Koruit. WM Blocks is the best among these three. You should really buy the galactic marines and 104th clones from WM bricks. The quality is like CAC but all with knockoff parts.
I might have to check them out at some point! Some knockoff molds can be cool but it’s really hit or miss from places like AliExpress
@@micahnike18 there is a RUclipsr WASTELAND who makes videos about these knockoffs, but he speaks Russian. But I think you should watch some vids only to see how these figs look in reality. Also he compares these figs to other knockoff brands and customs like CAC.

@@micahnike18 WM Blocks have some of the best molds for commander Bacara’s helmet and clone engineers.
yep. I have literally hundreds of them now. Koruit, Xinh (G is also Xinh) and WM are sooo good. I got basically most of the cool star wars chars already. Its awesome.
TV is trash for star wars, their lotr figs looks better though ngl.

I'll say what i've said in a few shorts: Republic Bricks is shady. Long story short: shipped me sets (over a month late) that I didnt pay for and threatened to take me to court over it.

I bet Republic bricks justifies it with something like "the unofficial parts are pad printed" instead of UV printed or the like.
As for the elvis hair,to be 100% fair, Revan didn't wear a full mandalorian helmet, as the Neo-crusader he took it from wore a mask and a neo-crusader hood. Thus, it's plausible, but it doesnt look good.

Yeah, I’m not sure how Republic Bricks justifies his claims but he needs to be more transparent with his products. Even if it takes extra time, his customers would appreciate it

I was considering buying that minifig until I remembered that some of my viewers are younger. I also didn’t want any comments specializing Lego minifigs because that would be likely to happen with minifigs like that💀

The fake battle droids are actually pretty good, I have some of them myself and they feel a little sturdier than the official ones in some places 😂
I have some fake battle droids too so I know exactly what you mean! The joints seem much more sturdy so in some cases knockoffs can be decent! It’s just hard to find good ones when there’s a slew of bad knockoffs in the way lol
@@micahnike18 Yes that is very true, for example I bought a knockoff p1 Rex for funnys and the helmet was so bad so ig it just comes down to specific molds and plastics that make these better

Some of them weren’t bad considering you don’t have to spend much money to get them! Just be on the lookout for sellers who make consistently good minifigs and you might be able to avoid some of the problems I encountered in this video
