Bubbling Cauldrons, Glass bottles making tingly sounds, smoky atmosphere!
i think this one deserves a Snape roleplay in the future hehe
SLUGHORN'S classroom. Professor Horace E. F. Slughorn. He was a good guy. Let's brew up some Amortentia. I can smell 1) wood, 2) the metal that flue pipes are made from, 3) ivory, 3) leather, & 4) parchment. (materials that make up a pipe organ, & leather & parchment for the music books). I can also smell cinnamon, ginger, & pumpkin spice (Christmas fragrances) & various evergreen trees. I can also smell a handsome choir director's hair & shaving cream (my men are always clean-shaven) & the fabric of his choir robe. There's also Felix Felicis brewing, & I will drink some to ask the handsome maestro on a date. Because IRL I wish I had a handsome choir director boyfriend. (Or girlfriend, since I'm bi, but there are more male choir directors.)
How'd you like my long story about what I smell in the Amortentia? I hope I don't get any "hate" comments or rude snark. I know you wouldn't give me a hate comment or snark because you're not a troll; I mean *other* RUclipsrs. If anyone trolls me for this comment, I'll ask them if they smell ammonia & bleach in the Amortentia *because I am going to make them scrub the floor in each of the common rooms.* No magic either; elbow grease.

If you would put it on spotify or allow us to buy the sounds... I would 100% do it without blinking. There’s something off about being on youtube while studying- sometimes the algorithm can be a bit distracting. Have you thought about it? You already have a shop!

Its amazing I have tried that and you can't get closer to Hogwarts at your own house than to do that
It can also help to light scented candles but that can be kinda wasteful if you're a quicker reader than I am

or slughorn i liked the potion class scene in half blood prince its like a class on how to cook soup but with magic but sadly in the movies we never actually got to see snape teach a potion class with actual intructions and brewing... tho snape preferred a quiet classroom

Imagine:-
It's your sixth year at Hogwarts. Voldemort has been on rise and now everyone believes Harry. It's your first potions class with Slughorn, after years of experience with Snape it is much better. You and a Hufflepuff work together to make the potion. As you brought the ingredients you partner started heating up the cauldron. And you quietly open your potions textbook to see the recipe. After you read it you handed the ashwinder eggs and rose thorns to your partner. She started cutting them and put them in the potion. You take the moonstone dust and put it in next. After a more of preparing which included cutting, crushing and mixing the potion was ready. You waited for it to become the original color while turning pages of your book. Your partner went to wash her hands and potions kit while you take a look around the room. There was a few Slytherins, Griffindor, Your fellow Ravenclaw and Hufflepuffs. Where ever you look people is either mixing their potions or hurriedly adding something. Even though it is sticking hot and you are sitting with a stranger everything is going in peaceful harmony in this classroom......
It's not a real potions class without Snape though ;)
@@almoores8309 tbh I would rather have them with Slughorn probably. Snape was really snobbish about potions, not to mention he was rude to the kids who weren't doing great - like Neville. And making fun of the kids is just... not right. I'm not saying that Snape wasn't talented or something but I personally as a student feel like I would feel better, safer and much more encouraged with Slughorn. Also Slughorn had this fun way of rewarding students, like with the Felix Felicis. It's fun. :) But I do respect your opinion, I can understand that there are people with different needs if it comes to the teachers.
@@Xyliaaa lol it’s ok I agree with u, I don’t think Snape was a very good teacher in terms of connecting with his students, but I do think he was an effective one. He knew what he was talking about and u could rlly learn a lot in his class if u rlly applied yourself. I don’t think he would be my first choice as teacher unless I was in Slytherin, but I just happen to favor him bc he’s my favorite character lol

I request before saying this please try to understand him..a person mentally harassed, depressed from childhood..his parents never loved him..cared for him..he had no friends no one..only one person he had was Lilly she was like a bright light in his fully dark life whome he lost due to his own mistakes and not only that she died also due to his mistakes..this is really great pain my friend..he wanted to die after Lilly's death bcz he had lost his one and only reason of living then..continue living with all this pain of loosing her forever and hating himself for being the reason of her death is very very difficult..
For us who is seeing everything impartially from outside it's very easy for us to say that he's behaving rudely with innocent students that means he's a bad person..No,it never means he's actually bad..PAIN CHANGE PEOPLE..when a person got too much pain, lost his everything this feels his mind with bitterness and hatred..he then strated hating everyone, behaves very rudely with everyone without realizing that they actually innocent they never did any harm to him..it's unfair of course bad of course but if we try to understand him, his pain, remorse,his never healing wounds we should realize what made him doing this bad thing..
Blaming, hating, judging someone is very easy my friend but try to realizing his pain, feeling his suffering, seeing things for his prospective is very difficult..not everyone can do this..
It's happen in real life too..situation, pain change people made them doing wrong thing..
Imagine if he didn't made that two mistakes for which Lilly left him, then she would've stay with him..they married then they would've one or two children..then Snape would've been happiest person in the world living with his small family then he never behaved that way with anyone or any student..he would've been then a normal teacher like Slughorn, mcgonagall and other teachers..
So the thing I want to say is the way he behaved with his students was wrong of course but his pain made him doing this..so it wasn't his fault..
And again the way he behaved with Neville and ron and harmonie was actually drama bcz he was undercover double agent..he could never reveal his true colour to anyone except Dumbledore..as we only can see his true nature in prince's tale..for his job he has to pretend to be a villainous bad man..and in class infront of the sons of DE in Slytherin like Draco, Crabb and Goyal he couldn't behave nicely with their enemy Neville, ron, harmonie..think how their parents would've take that their fellow DE is behaving very nicely with their enemy's children it will raise questions to his loyalty to Voldemort..he did everything what it takes to continue his job still Bellatrix doubted him in HBP and also Draco became angry with him just bcz he gave detention to Crabb and Goyal..
So the way he behaved with the students have some reason..Before hating him and blaming him please try to understand the behind facts..

Judging by the colors and the mixing of liquids, I can assume that these potions are complex, designed to have multiple effects on the consumer. And the potion on the far right is an antidote. Is my assumption wrong or is it correct?
