I find it hilarious that one of the most badass final boss songs short of something like Dancing Mad/One Winged Angel, with music comparable and similar to SaGa2's awesome "Save The World," track... Comes from an indie h-game series.
It came out in America for Gameboy as "Final Fantasy Legend 2" but in reality was named "SaGa2," which came out before the Romancing SaGa games. For gameboy games, the music is exceptional, and I compared the two because this song follows a similar pattern/rhythm to Save the World, the final boss song in the game.
To be fair, this kind of hilarious scenario was the same with the first MGQ game. Ilias final form boss theme is still one of the coolest pieces of music in otaku-centric medium period. Glad to see they continued the tradition with Paradox.

Everything is pretty much more fucked up than the original tho... The characters are literally TRYING to to the story from the original trilogy, but new stuff keeps coming. You really should play it.
You know, with the patch out now... This song kinda really got me emotional when I reached this point of the game... q_q;; We can't let *her* sacrifice be in vain... Oh god, it all just hits you at once.
Lapin Mort i feel like the scene would've had more power to it if Chrome freaked out once she found out it was her sister and she was going to die, as she had spent the majority of the first part looking for her.
In the H-scene, Luka's essence gives her free will somehow, essentially making him the "father" of a deity. We're talking creation myth level events here, like Uranus (sky) mating with Gaea (earth) to form Saturn in Greek mythology. One would presume an entirely new world would be created, all because of Luka losing! Is that really a bad ending?
Even I could tell that, even though it was all untranslated, I could immediately tell that this "final boss" beared a vague similarity to a certain familiar character... (that I won't spoil... ) >:D ( I always keep a literal eye on, well, here "eyes", always with a matching smile... ^^ ) Promestein, Chrome, Nibi (Kitsu)... *Let us dispel this anguished anomalous remnant of sorrow!*
+HTankGlory I still feel like a traitor for choosing Illias... But that Demon's Lightning skill, *so good!* My team consists of Luka and Illias as damage dealers and Saki and Mini for support. (Saki was the succubus dancer and Mini was the Phoenix-girl, in case you play the game full japanese.)
(Yeah, I remember their names so no worries :P ) And yeah, I understand perfectly well and i'm so glad I never chosen that genocidal bitch (yes, I realize that in Paradox she doesn't do as such but that is still no excuse for what her original self did, no question! >_< ) and went classic MGQ-style!
+HTankGlory That's actually the reason why I chose Illias... Alice had her turn, she's next. I'll admit, when I played through the game the second time, Nero stopping time and taking away the Angel Halo was hilarious. (I also found out you can outrun Nero in Illiasville, at the beginning of the game with fast speedsetting, and doing so will cause a little scene in which Nero gets offended and uses Time Stop to catch up to you.)
heh It isn't that much of a loss if you don't choose ILLiASS tbh since, from what I hear, you can gain all of the skills that ILLiASS teaches in Paradox via Angel NPCs (i'm guessing from the Chaos Labyrinth itself if not anywhere else since i've learned a few skills via other Monster Girl characters from some areas in the Chaos Labyrinth so it's not a far-off guess to say that the same can be said for any possible neutral Angel NPCs in some of the randomized Chaos Labyrinth maps, thus making ILLiASS completely unnecessary, and besides... Once one figures out how the Race/Job class works you can see that Alice can actually hold VERY INVALUABLE Race/Job classes that let one have access to important skills such as Time Warp Dance and so forth, making Alice all the more reason/more worthwhile than ILLiASS, seriously... XD lol ) most likely from the Chaos Labyrinth via the neutral Angel NPCs on floors most likely past floor 100 i'm guessing since I have yet to meet one that teaches the skills that ILLiASS herself teaches Luka, which is, once again, all the more reason why ILLiASS is actually more worse off than Alice is. So much for the Holy Magic negation trait from the original MGQ-trilogy, eh? :P And yeah, it was even more badass once I learned, even though it's untranslated and I had to search for it via sources such as these for instance: manyeyedhydra's archive , that Nero and Neris are the son and daughter of a certain "canon MGQ coupling" from the original Trilogy it seems... ^^ So much for the Angel Halo saving the day like it did in the original Trilogy countless times, ah well... Stupid Nero! XD lol
+HTankGlory So, I just unlocked what appears to be called a "Dragon Palace Dance" for Alice, which appears to boost Sylph's Aero to deal whopping 42.000 damage against Sphinx if I use all stat boosting skills, as well. Dear god.
I expected to be challenged more by this boss. My two OP Kitsunes which I got way earlier than I was meant to and some OP imp girl were with Luka able to defeat her before i could even get done with the first loop of the music :( I'm like oh shit yes guess I'm ready for chaos dungeon hahahahahaha nope.
Main game can be completed on very hard difficulty or lower without really worrying about going into the nitty gritty details of the game's combat system, and just grinding out a party of anyone sorta works. LoC requires a level 30 team of characters who have good resistances, traits that work with their skills and the very best equipment
You can get past a couple layers of LoC with just capped characters, not too much special prep. Good luck with the supers, though - or ANYTHING if you don't have good casters. Stupid 100% counter chance... Also, bring seven people who can actually fight. One merchant in the back is fine (nay, almost mandatory the longer the raid goes), but you REALLY don't want to be stuck with less than 4 frontliners up at any time during a fight. Even the random mobs can and will wipe your team if you get worn down to 2 fighters. Honestly, I"m kind of amazed people can even clear the super bosses. You're forcing characters to perform at about 3x their current level, without even having that tier of races/jobs available.
Robbie Martini I didn't know where to go when I played mgqp because no translation so I ended up grinding chaos dungeon before you had to beat her to get there let's just say the fight was so underwelming that I oneshoted her on hell difficulty because of how many seeds luka ate lol
Too Few Secrets Exactly and then there's the grim reaper enemy. She is the hardest enemy in the game. You literally need to use a specific team and class setup as well as specific equipment and items to even stand a chance against her and even then it will likely not be enough. She is like dullahan from the golden sun series where even if you were using the best equipment and had everything, it may not be enough in fact that's what makes me think of when I talk about the grim reaper for this game because both enemies are extremely difficult.
I just finished the first boss fight against her in paradox 1 yesterday, then I went into hades and repeated the fight like 5 times because this theme is so epiiiiiic. The build up for this fight was cool as well, amped up the epicness with this ost. Btw my team for this fight was Luka, Ilias, King of San Ilia and Saki, what was yours?
I ran Luka, Alice, Barbun and Promestein and ended it in 1 turn via armor break + Barbun skill. I didn't even know the condition change also had defense as a part of its criteria so I couldn't enjoy the theme so much
Well, the thing is, torotoro is planning on making a collab with some other eroges', into Paradox part 2, currently. In which they are already in play testing and debugging phase. And from that, my assumption is, part 3 may be coming out sometime in the spring of next year at the earliest, although this assumption is a bit of a stretch. Some speculates that it may take another year or two. But because torotoro haven't really been updating us on the progress for part 3 on their blog recently I can't really say for sure.
This is what I might as well hear the moment I come out to anyone otherwise any video game boss theme for that matter but especially ones like this if push really does come to shove.
You know you can buy large quantities of food items cheaply and give them out as presents, right? It's much faster than grinding manually and if you're only going for request thresholds it shouldn't be that much of an economic strain, either, even without Chef and preparing the best food items.

I wondered the same thing. It has decent sales on the JP dlsite though. Probably has one or two more distributors too so they find the money. English sales on dlsite are too low. For the artwork, the commissions are probably not too expensive. Assuming the artists are not salaried.
DL Site works for this, and you can patch over the official patch with Rogue's translation, as well. It's more complete and from what I've heard it's generally better, but I don't know if that applies to the requests that Rogue ended up copy-pasting from their defeat scene equivalents to mixed results at best. I don't quite know how MGQ or other eroge like this get made, but I'd imagine the majority of their art is in-house, and payments are probably lower than commission work in most circles due to how niche the games are. Though MGQ at least makes a fair bit more money than most, so...
Best thing to do for part 1 is just to go buy the game (belive me they deserve the support, been following them from MGQ trilogi and that was a long time ago. And then just to go to some pirated site and download it like Erogedownload bcs when you buy the oficial and try to patch tends to spawn some bugs not for all but for some yes. They can just make MGQ Paradox anime because Paradox have less lewd and not have unavoidable h scene except the like of Lilith sisters massacre which can be showed just by black screen with voice or change camera angle.
they could also make original MGQ anime too, if you take into account the canon luka, he would never have lost any battle because losing is you know what, so a canon timeline anime would have luka winning and well, not so much H scenes as well

Wonder if it's just a coincidence that her and Sonya look similar. I know it's the same artist, but still, I can't shake the idea that there's something more to it than that.

BUt man still, i just hope the next part is more harder part 1 was easy after u get High Angel on Ilias and Hild and Naruko as makina and guner.
Try PARADOX mode. Also, Alice instead of Ilias - Yoma's a good race, but not really as good as Valkyrie. Maybe avoid using the power races (Chaos dwellers, Angels, Yoma, Chimera) entirely, if you feel like a real challenge. Or you could just max the ostrich girl's AGI, set her to Battle Master, and kill Adramelek in one move. That works too.
I just dont know mate ok considering that the first boss of MGQ was gnome who was also very easy this game was a little to much for me i dont know, even though i was using nuruko as makina it was still easy (after i saw the tentacle skills it just went kid mode) and plus i was playing on hard dificulty i just hope the 2 part gives me more of a chalange. And yea i need to play thourgh the game with alice as well the only problem is i hate chibi alice, even from the original MGQ, sexy Alice yes, chibi alice no no
Just don't run from combat and don't reduce encounter rate and you should end up pretty overleveled as you travel Sentora. Though 21 is pretty underleveled considering surrounding enemies recruit for some level 24 at that point. There's a lot of ways to break Paradox when you get into the nitty gritty, though for what it's worth Adramelech is a lot more threatening than anything before her even if she doesn't have the bulk to back it up.
Before I begin, let me state that I really do like Paradox. However, in my view, Paradox is not as good as the original Trilogy. I would say that for the feel of the story and cast, the original trilogy is head and shoulders above Paradox. Problem is Paradox relies on you already knowing the cast through the original, and the way it's presented isn't in anywhere near the same level of cohesiveness as the Originals were. The original was very much a massive emphasis on a small amount of cast, and truly fleshed out the charecters in a way that was believable and emotive. Paradox doesn't do that, primarily because of it's plot being what it is. Even the new cast are just left up to being enigma's and don't have enough development (arguably YET) for us to care enough about them in comparison to the zany personalities that the Four Knights had. Gameplay is also an issue, primarily a fault of the RPG elements. The original had a surprisingly tactical amount of depth to it, as you often had to learn exactly how the enemy fought and how best to respond, with even minor mistakes being punished harshly. Paradox ditches that in favour of the exp/class/race system that denies the need to even bother with half the tactics used in the originals, I mean, who even bothers with the Spirits? In comparison to how absolutely vital managing them in the original was? Like I said, I like Paradox, it's fun to play, the new plot interests me greatly and the new cast are at times quite good. However I can never, ever say that it matches up to the original trilogy, at least as it stands right now. Maybe Parts 2 and 3 of Paradox will blow this opinion away, but as it stands now, originals trump Paradox.
I have been a veteran of the series ever since the first part of the original Monster Girl Quest, as such I feel I have a position to make my own opinion on Paradox compared to the original. Let it be known that I enjoyed the story of the Original, but I love the RPG elements of Paradox. I will break this down similarly to the way VC did. In terms of story and cast, I will concede that you unfortunately NEED to have gone through the original Monster Girl Quest for most things in the game to make sense while at the same time being able to easily determine that something is going on that is very wrong. I do not advise Paradox without having run through the Original first. Although personally that is a letdown if the Original's story cant grab you quickly, the reason I will specify next. In terms of the gameplay of the Original, one could say that it is Visual Novel with RPG elements, however saying RPG is a very loose comparison due to the fact that most difficult battles are very linear in sequence and construction. Second issue with the Original's gameplay is the issue with the grapple binds that are very predominant in the Second and Third part of the original. There are many grapples that throw you for a loop since instead of needing you to struggle free form them, they need you to Attack your opponent to break free, and at least in my experience, outside of part one, the in battle prompts do very little to nothing at all to actually tell you when such a situation arises, which involves guesswork at that point. The reason this personally is a problem for me, (And understand this is purely my opinion and it might contain slight spoilers.), is due to the fact that, in parts 2 and 3, you run into a lot of monster girls that, in all honesty, either are not attractive at all, have serious lethal consequences if you lose to them, or both. Vore is a big thing in the middle to late game. Granted I know that there are many that enjoy that kind of thing, and I respect that, but its not my cup of tea. So my issue here is the following. I dont want to see those loss scenes. However, despite having the ability to turn off vore scenes, it still irks since you still see the initial non-vore scenes which give you an unwanted image of what is to come, and you HAVE to at least speed through said images if you want to get to the evaluation on how to beat the opponent. In short, if you are the kind of person that does not want to experience that, you are forgoing an easy explanation on how to beat them. I applaud paradox for its true RPG system since, in all honesty, if you run into an opponent that you would NEVER want to tap at best, and pure Nightmare Fuel at worst, you can just unleash your most powerful skills and strategies to pound them into the ground and move on with the story. If anybody has actually seen the Apoptosis lurking in the Third Tartarus they know what I mean. For opponents in the original like the Flytrap Systers, Cassandra, and the more grotesque Angels you do not have that luxury. However, I am rambling at that point so moving on. Direct rebuttal to VC's comment. Spirits were not managed in the original. You don't summon them, your dead. You summon the wrong one, and your dead. In paradox part one (spoiler but any fan sees this coming), you get sylph and gmome. Both spirits in paradox give you decent buffs and add their element to your attacks, which might not be significant in the main game but if managed right, they can get you far in the post game dungeons. I personally remember taking down one of the superbosses in the same dungeon by using Sylph, since she was the only magic attack and effect I had. So I personally feel that you have greater management in paradox. Again, personal opinion. Bottom line, so far, I feel Original wins in story, and Paradox wins in general gameplay and giving the player the choice of what they want to experience. One thing I WILL say though is that we NEED to see the Heavenly Knights in some shape or form in Paradox Part 2. I feel there is a general consensus with me on this point.
Before I start, Paradox is a Trilogy, dunno why you would say it's only one game, Part 2 is literally out in a few months time...... Now, Part 1 fulfilled for me exactly what it needed to. It was the start point, the moment when Luka as a fresh faced hero that we didn't quite comprehend started off from. It really played up the idea of him as an innocent protagonist starting on the usual cliche(-ish) journey to being the Hero. The odd mystery was thrown in here and there (Meditate, Luka's mother, the ring, the bizarre power he awoke when unconscious), but overall between Alice's rather obnoxious self interest attitude and Luka's fresh faced innocence, it created an unassuming opening act. That in itself gave the series a nice platform to evolve from, with the eventual discovery of the depth of Luka's so called innocent goal revealing to be martyrdom to redeem the sins of his father, and Alice's character development as another broken martyr hidden behind her attitude. Sure, it isn't as engaging or emotionally investing as Parts 2/3, but in itself it created a necessary balance to allow the later parts to shine better. It was inferior in a way that allowed the story to shine later on, that in itself was gratifying. Problem is, Part 1 Paradox doesn't have this benefit, because we all know what the story is. It needed to innovent itself and create a new and engaging cast to make up for this issue, but it kinda failed......Neris and Nero are an intriguing mystery, as well as the new villains, but none of the above really star strongly enough for us to engage with them, certainly not anywhere near the same level as Granberria/Tamamo/Alice did in Part 1 original.

GOAT OST ... NEVER HEARD PEAK BUT THIS IS 10 / 10
Me the first time I fought her.
"Okay, what is this music, is she like Dracula or some-" **SUDDEN DROP**

Me the first time I fought her.
'' Meh, I expected the final boss to last more than one round ... ok back to the labyrinth of chaos. ''.
> ok *back* to the labyrinth of chaos.
You can go to the bonus dungeon before clearing the game!?
Mike Rider No, you can't. Labyrinth of Chaos unlocks when you defeat her. This guy probably fought her at max lvl
You know, with the patch out now... This song kinda really got me emotional when I reached this point of the game...
q_q;; We can't let *her* sacrifice be in vain... Oh god, it all just hits you at once.
Cirque du Croix! Come, it's our last performance!
Still very impressive how La Croix did 90% of the dmg to Adrelmech
The whole administrator tower part was kind of depressing, and on top of that I had Chrome in my party, wich made the encounter worse
Her last performance was so beautiful 😭😭😭
Lapin Mort
i feel like the scene would've had more power to it if Chrome freaked out once she found out it was her sister and she was going to die, as she had spent the majority of the first part looking for her.
I actually got this recommended nice. I was looking for this for a while now
Why do such games have such great music?

In the H-scene, Luka's essence gives her free will somehow, essentially making him the "father" of a deity. We're talking creation myth level events here, like Uranus (sky) mating with Gaea (earth) to form Saturn in Greek mythology. One would presume an entirely new world would be created, all because of Luka losing! Is that really a bad ending?
my anus is the sky?

music plays: fuck the hentai !, let's save the world and get some waifus aphostosis
Best mgq music ever
Adramelek is already one of my favorite new characters based on her theme alone
IT IS OUT IT'S HERE.
But that Demon's Lightning skill, *so good!*
My team consists of Luka and Illias as damage dealers and Saki and Mini for support.
(Saki was the succubus dancer and Mini was the Phoenix-girl, in case you play the game full japanese.)
(Yeah, I remember their names so no worries :P )
And yeah, I understand perfectly well and i'm so glad I never chosen that genocidal bitch (yes, I realize that in Paradox she doesn't do as such but that is still no excuse for what her original self did, no question! >_< ) and went classic MGQ-style!
+HTankGlory
That's actually the reason why I chose Illias...
And yeah, it was even more badass once I learned, even though it's untranslated and I had to search for it via sources such as these for instance: manyeyedhydra's archive , that Nero and Neris are the son and daughter of a certain "canon MGQ coupling" from the original Trilogy it seems... ^^
So much for the Angel Halo saving the day like it did in the original Trilogy countless times, ah well...
My two OP Kitsunes which I got way earlier than I was meant to and some OP imp girl were with Luka able to defeat her before i could even get done with the first loop of the music :(
I'm like oh shit yes guess I'm ready for chaos dungeon
hahahahahaha nope.
I don't think Supers are really meant to be beaten in the LoC, they're more of a send-off saying 'See you in part 2!'
That intro be giving me some DOOM vibes.
**Ripping N Tearing intensifies**
I just finished the first boss fight against her in paradox 1 yesterday, then I went into hades and repeated the fight like 5 times because this theme is so epiiiiiic. The build up for this fight was cool as well, amped up the epicness with this ost. Btw my team for this fight was Luka, Ilias, King of San Ilia and Saki, what was yours?
Mimic. It's too strong in the early stages. In the later stages, this place is given honor to the king of Grangold.
I ran Luka, Alice, Barbun and Promestein and ended it in 1 turn via armor break + Barbun skill. I didn't even know the condition change also had defense as a part of its criteria so I couldn't enjoy the theme so much

Somebody knows when MGQ Paradox part 3 could be ready? I feel like a really long time has passed and there's no info

You know you can buy large quantities of food items cheaply and give them out as presents, right? It's much faster than grinding manually and if you're only going for request thresholds it shouldn't be that much of an economic strain, either, even without Chef and preparing the best food items.
I just hope it gets translated soon. I wanna play it so bad!!!

Just beat this boss \o/
I was probably a bit overleveled for this fight due to all the grinding I did.
My current main party is:
Luka lvl 45
Melk lvl 49
Pilate lvl 49
Sully lvl 43
Pumpkin lvl 44
Chirp lvl 41
Deiji lvl 31
Ashidaka lvl 28
For the fight against Adramelek I had switched Melk for Radio since I wanted her to be present for the boss.
While I wanted Melk there, Radio did end up delivering the killing blow with a shotgun. So it was worth it.
I just beat this boss yesterday, wow I think you were really OP, my team isn't as strong.
I had Luka lvl 30 (human, lowly angel and valkyrie lvl 10, high angel lvl 1) / (warrior, a-hero, hero, swordsman lvl 10, guard lvl 9)
Ilias lvl 29 (lowly and high angel lvl 10, cupid lvl 9) / (hunter, bowmaster lvl 10, priest lvl 2 and time mage lvl 9)
King of San Ilia lvl 25 (human lvl 10 cyborg lvl 8) / pope lvl 9 (i don't remember his other default classes)
Saki lvl 22, all of her default classes and races, active race and class lvl 8 both
Then in reserve I think I had, Lime lvl 18 (i don't actually use her for combat, just for chest opening), Promstein lvl 19, Nanabi lvl 30, and Gnome lvl 23, I didn't need to use the reserve though, main team was enough.
@@MrSasukeSusanoo I see, sounds like a good team. I hope you enjoy the rest of paradox!

Yo paradox part 3 is in 4 days
How the hell do you get this game? It's one of the most elusive ones I've ever seen. Don't know how they continue to stay in business lol.
For the rest of the series... i have no idea i didin't want to feel like i felt when i was waiting for MGQpart3 that year was the worst in my life.

And yea i need to play thourgh the game with alice as well the only problem is i hate chibi alice, even from the original MGQ, sexy Alice yes, chibi alice no no
I was at like lol 21 when I fought this boss, how did you get to lvl do? Did you take off the monster ward bracelet?
Just don't run from combat and don't reduce encounter rate and you should end up pretty overleveled as you travel Sentora. Though 21 is pretty underleveled considering surrounding enemies recruit for some level 24 at that point.
There's a lot of ways to break Paradox when you get into the nitty gritty, though for what it's worth Adramelech is a lot more threatening than anything before her even if she doesn't have the bulk to back it up.

the Paradox sucks I like the original better make another one but in the spot that this one in and make it just like the old one.
im assuming you dont like to actually think
I feel there is a general consensus with me on this point.
vc180191 I mean, the original trilogy is 3 games. Paradox is only one game. Part 1 of the trilogy honestly wasn't nearly as good as part 1 of paradox.
