GEORGE BLACK because if you dont have the looks, the right music genre and age to attract enough revenue for record companies(pop music), you have to rely on EXCEPTIONAL talent, i mean pioneering the fields of untouched planes of creativity.
This guy is a talented singer/guitar player, however these abilities are only a vessel/tool to express creativity/art.
Now im not saying this guy isnt creative, but he's gotta be making exceptional original music/art to "get a record deal" or "make it".

I have heard a thousand covers and am a musician myself with 40 or so youtube covers. You have the most amazing voice I've ever heard (listened to half a dozen of your covers). Your vocal control is what my voice sounds like in my head. It must feel amazing. It is awe inspiring and frustrating as hell to listen to. Why are you not famous?
@MrUbercool12345 Yeah, it kinda did. But I tried desperately to learn other ways of trying to hit these notes. If you try hard enough, without killing yourself, you can learn other ways of using your voice that you never knew were possible. I'm still learning completely new things all the time.

It's crazy how much you sound like Layne in this cover.
For all those who wish him to sing in another style or variety, singing the song this way would nothing but honor Layne, AIC, and those many artists from the 90's and elsewhere who opened up and let it fly. This is a great rendition of a killer track. If you want originals, stop looking up the songs from your past and find another forum. RUclips is a wide open for musical exploration. After listening to this a few times the " original mtv unplugged" version doesn't sound as good as it use too and its one of my fav mtv unplugged songs.

I believe its called electrically managed synthetic or EMS>>> check his down in hole video .. you can hear a lot of reverb and echo within the laid down recorded vocals on the track........ bit like Ciara in a hip hop video .. if u get my drift.. but saying all this . great rendition and I do enjoy listening ... coz I fuking love this track ! 10/10 for effort!

Great cover, but man an acoustic cover is supposed to be raw. Unplugged. Why use editing on your voice? It's already great, doesn't need to sound pitch perfect. Still amazing though, had goosebumps the whole time. Layne would be proud
