Sunbeam and Nightheart talking seemed more like friends on Sumbeam's side to me. Like she did not expect any of what he did at the end of the book. Also I really want a medicine cat to become leader, there isn't a big reason why they can't since leaders don't need to hunt or fight.
I was litterally begging the writers to do something other than travel arc into romance plot... I enjoyed Nightheart not being a firestar suckup, but I was hoping hed turn into thunderclans mediator. I was hoping Sum and Night wouldnt be like... an obvious ship and kind of creepy seeing as their first meeting was when he was an apprentice but.... whatever. Its whatever. Still hope they go full Nior for Riverclan and get over the shadowclan misunderstanding shit arc. Damn.
They only met one time when he was an apprentice, and he was old enough to be made a warrior considering his sister was already one. He's a full-grown cat, just held back from their coming-of-age ceremony. A real-life analog to this is an 18-year-old meeting a 20 or 21-year-old once at a social event, then meeting up again at a camping trip almost a year later, then hooking up not long after that. Most people wouldn't bat an eye at that. What people _could_ justifiably do a double-take on is if Flamepaw was younger (a little over halfway through his apprenticeship or younger) and he and Sunbeam had an established relationship that she cultivates with the prospect of becoming her mate. But this isn't the case, Sunbeam didn't entertain any romantic notions until Nightheart earned his warrior name.
Spoilers for Sky... Going in, I didn't like Nightheart after seeing some spoilers from Twitter and seeing a few things taken out of context. Now though, I don't like him, but I don't hate them. I just hope that Night X Sun doesn't happen when it seems like it might. Sunbeam was showing feelings during the journey, the book called night handsome in her pov I might be reading into it too much. Not to mention how she felt when Night mentioned being in Shadowclan. I just hope that Night stays in Shadowclan, they wrote Squirrelflight and Sparkpelt out of character just to mistreat him and I don't want that to be a major plot line. Over all I enjoyed the book as a warrior book, but I think the authors should try and be a bit more careful with their wording. A lot of Nightheart scenes taken out of context really made me hate that cat.
That’s kind of a continuous issue in recent books. Warriors characters keep getting their personalities changed just so they can oppose the opposition, even if it makes no sense and defies their previous characterization. Mothwing in Broken Code is an especially good example of this, with her treatment of Shadowsight. I feel like Warriors just needs to soft reboot at this point so they can establish their own new characters, rather than tarnish the personality of old ones for the sake of convenience.
Sometimes I think that Bramblestar and Squirrelflight aren't actually mad at each other. They're just really into angry sex and their foreplay sometimes gets out of hand.
here’s my opinion about the cats: Sunbeam : I liked her in the beginning but in the end she just irritates me it’s like she has no brain sometimes and she’s kinda bipolar in some scenes. Which i guess is okay since I myself am quite bipolar. Night heart: Nice character but kinda wish he didn’t leave ThunderClan. I guess it was for his own good. Frostpaw: If she actually becomes a warrior i’m gonna be mad. Idek why she is still a good med cat to me even if she can’t reach StarClan. Overall the character I dislike the most is Sunbeam. She irritates me as I said before like I just can’t. I also now dislike Tigerstar. I wouldn’t be surprised if he ends up like the first one. Fav one out of these characters is probably Frostpaw. She’s a kind cat but she wants to become a warrior and i’m angered by this. We always need a medicine cat as one of our main characters. Plus, she wasn’t a bad medicine cat either. She just interpreted it wrong. (P.S. I think tigerstar is ridiculous to have had his cats attack riverclan. He knows very well that if riverclan had a good leader and deputy then they wouldn’t have been easy to beat. sure they’re a bit fat but that doesn’t change anything they’re still good fighters. I’m sure this next book’ll be funny. There is definitely gonna be a lot of changes.
I'm surprised Frostpaw became my favorite of the three after this book! Both Night and Sun were annoying for their own reasons (which is fine for their characters but they weren't as enjoyable to read). I like how sweet Frostpaw is and I also hope she stays a medicine cat! If both she and Mothwing can't reach Starclan they can bound over that... I do hope ONE of them becomes the leader though... mainly Mothstar please!! And then Frostpaw would have to stay the medicne cat so Riverclan has one. :)
i personally think ivypool would be a horrible leader. the way she’s been consistently written when dovewing is involved just makes her come across as … idk, childish. petty. lionblaze also wouldn’t be great. i think it’d be nice to see a more unknown cat get fleshed out and become leader, but with how often lion’s been made fake-deputy i wouldn’t be surprised if it were him.
I feel like it's absolutely okay to be childish or not as mature with your family - dovewing was not the pinnacle of maturity either. Family matters from conflicts so deep as childhood affect your skills and leadership little. But also, considering how every cat's personality gets rewritten constantly anyways, it probably doesn't even matter
@@kinrateia in this case it would tho as dovewing's mate who ivypool personally hates is leader of ShadowClan, i think this would cause a very personal and irrational hostile relationship with shadowclan
@@jetwingsdaydream on the other hand though, if we trust ivypool to be more or less professional, this will bring so much fun flavors to politics where leaders kind of get to tease each other at the gatherings - in the lieu of the way onestar and firestar or crookedstar and bluestar were. It's more fun when leaders have another dynamic behind them
The only instance of a nickname is Lionblaze calling Jayfeather, Jay.
Sweetpaw is referred to as sweet by I think her sister.
Reena called Tallpaw Tall and Shrewpaw Shrew, as much as they didn't like that.

Um I'd argue that leaders should be able to fight the most to protect they're clan
@@Blaze_the_cat_ I mean, yeah, but they don't really.

Do you have bipolar disorder?
I think you should talk about the Clans downfall
Since Firestar died in the great battle the Clans just have way too many isues
Heck yeahhh Kid Icarus: Uprising music!
I'm really confused why they called this book Sky. SkyClan didn't really play much of a part? Unless I'm forgetting something

I agree - I like Ivypool as a character but her (well-written) flaws mean I don’t think she’d make a good leader.
