This episode went by SO FAST. I really love hearing Cynthia and Xabder talk about their characters. I wished we had Club Auspex for LA by Night because they had so many interesting moments with their previous characters.
Cynthia's moment when Nelli had the chunk of building pulled out of her-taking her out of Torpor-Sorry Uma Thurman, that beat to hell the adrenaline needle bit from Pulp Fiction! That was a scream goes through your fucking SOUL.
Great to see Xander and Cynthia Marie back at the table! Agree with Cynthia that as a dancer she can really explore the physicality of her character. I'm liking Brawn 1.0 too, Xander has the old school NY accent down. The inclination might be to play into the humor of the Alpha, which certainly had me cracking up. But, I also got the sadness and anger just laying under the surface. I think exploring those emotions would help to give Brawn some weight.
Loooooved the first episode of this season. Everybody's energy was so on point! Cynthia I love watching you play and I think about Nelli in her crown outfit way back from the early days of LABN at least once a week.
My group just started a Camarilla game (Tremere represent!) in Atlanta, so im looking forward to seeing how the characters and Mr. Carl weaves the story. SO FAR SO GOOD! Keep up the good work!
I just finished watching Endymion's gate, DMed by Ash, so seeing her back to the present again is kinda funny. Always nice to see the behind the scenes, I wish LA by night had it too. Cynthia and Xander are really a treat. And Cynthia's favourite clan being Lasombra is such a surprise, she must have envied the camarilla brothers and later Noura in LA.
I found LA by night too late, and it was so much to catch up on, I needed the Spotify lists. Then, they stopped updating them. So glad to be in on the ground level for this.
@@RoyalMudcrab I dunno, Brawn is a trained fighter, I'm guessing he was some kind of boxer before the Embrace, so, odds might be on his side. But the dice...(This is the biggest dice pool ever rolled-bestial failure moment) I felt so bad but had to crack up.
Coco defiantly stands you but I loved the Lucita and Nelly characters too :D you realy selling these character incredibly well its even hard to recognize its you :D your debs and variety of role playing is incredibly. Coco also is so risk taker, or bold, and stíl clever nice combination :D

What is it about clan Lasombra that draws so many people, cuz I'm in that boat too lol I'd probably be a good fit for it as a player since I naturally like to stick to the background and play the quiet observer.
Am I the only one who noticed that Coco isn't a fledgeling? She can do arms of ahriman whitch reques potence 2 And does have compel from dominate. She also used a cloak of shadow (obfuscate) but it could have been mistaken with shadow cloak. I wonder what's her story. Apparantly she has been vampire for some time
they both got shit done. Anarchs first night defeated the Puttanesca people 9or whoever they were), collected wassname's finger as requested, even got their hands on precious materials/info, and got their very own territory at the end. Also Serif got to chat with dogs which by itself is a huge win.
That's one thing I've never understood. I mean, a game is a game. What happens in a game happens in imagination. Ok, if someone has experienced something really traumatic (such as sexual violence) it might be (likely would be?) a painful subject. We're all built differently, but I think that some people are just too touchy. Sometimes when they actually aren't. And yes. I've had quite the traumatic experience myself when I was watching my son die (he eventually pulled through, which was a bit of a medical miracle, but my and my ex-wife basically started looking though coffins). While I will most likely carry the pain and trauma for the rest of my life, I find that nothing in a game that causes any kind of discomfort. Because it's a game. Of course the main point is that everyone is having fun, but when you're going deep in horror, discomfort is something that should be taken as a must. The first episode of NY by Night, Season 2, was absolutely brilliant and I think that Xander stole the show hands on. Can't wait for the next episode!

She can still be a fledgling it would just be Jason giving them a bit of starting exp. Potence 2 is 10 exp and that's not a lot.
