Thanks for that one, most tutorials are about jumps and lack steps explanation. I got all the 3 turns already, but I'll be thankful for forward rocker explanation, I'm struggling to keep my balance after the turn :-)

I am planning on doing a couple rocker videos!

Nice. Are you actually a coach? The way you broke that down, it makes sense to me straight away.
I typically have to watch multiple videos numerous times, to understand a new move- the feet, leg, and arm positions, when the weight transfers and blade edge changes occur etc. However, following watching your video instruction ONCE, I know from having walked it through in my socks that I will be able to do this on the ice tomorrow morning.
You have a style of teaching that is brilliant for my way of learning.

Hi! Yes I am a coach! I am glad the videos and explanations are helpful. Sometimes I feel like I kinda just keep talking and going on some tangents but doing what I can to make them straight to the point but explaining them as well as I can. Thank you!

This is so helpful I didn’t even know about these😂 could you do a video on flexibility position for I spin and y spin and biellman or spins on an Edea e spinner? I’m so happy you said about the lutz corner I go so mad when there’s the skaters who just end up behind you when you’re about to lutz😂

Those are great ideas! I will add those to the video list! Yes I wanted to mention the lutz corner! Stay outta there unless you’re doing a lutz 😂

This is a great breakdown! Looking forward to applying what you have said and showed in this video to the ice tomorrow! P.S. Where’s the lutz corner? 😬 Thanks!!

Hi! So if you are in the middle of the rink looking down ice, the lutz corner is the right circle at the end of the rink. Typically the skaters do that jump in that corner and when you have spinners or skaters working on their turns on that corner circle, there can be some crashes which we want to avoid!

I fell backwards on this turn & broke my wrist. I’m healed now but my fear of falling backwards again is hindering me. Any suggestions appreciated.

Ouch I am sorry to hear that! Have you tried the turn standing in place holding onto the wall? Sometimes doing that will help you get the feeling of your 3 turn. Also you can try this turn on 2 feet as well to get that feeling down and to gain more confidence

@@ShellySkates my back 3s are excellent on 2 feet and on the wall. I guess I need strategies to be rid of the fear. And no drugs please - lol
