Love your pliers, I have all sizes of the cobras and plier wrenches. In most of the comments I saw the mini twingrip mentioned, would be instant buy for me. 👍👍👍👍👍. Hi @FoodOnCrack, cutting with the StepCut XL is noticeably easier than with compact cable shears --> up to 60% easier cutting of multi-conductor cables.

The StepCut XL cuts solid copper or aluminum cables up to 35mm² (approx. 2 AWG) , stranded cables up to 70mm² (approx. 2/0 AWG) and fine stranded cables up to 120mm² (approx. 250 AWG). If you want to cut 2/0 AWG copper you can only cut stranded cables. If you want to cut solid cables, it's not possible with 2/0 AWG.

I really like those tubing cutters - they figured out a way to eliminate two of the most annoying parts of using tubing cutters.
