Watching the old non on water videos which I never should have skipped. Top tip, par boil the sweet potatoes and squash. Less time in microwave and think you'd still have gotten what you were looking for. Not judging, but probably needed another bottle of wine, Jen!!! Turkey overrated on Thanksgiving, but essential day after for carnivores. :) Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to the 3 of you. Have awesome comment coming on the next new video that drops.
Loved seeing both of y’all cook! This was such a fun video idea. Definitely laughed out loud at the generator saga and the zoomed in shots of Jenn with the wine 😂😂 And those dance moves 💃🏻🕺🏻 All of the food looked AMAZING and we are glad the cute pups got a little treat too! 😍 Way to go y’all! 🙌🏼
Good Friends - Happy Dogs! Love watchiing the two Chefs in their tiny kitchens. ❤ Such a DELICIOUS looking feast! and then amazing pumpkin pie! What a FUN video!
I’m fortunate that we have a 56 foot Hatteras so I have a full size galley. But We have had a sailboat with a really small galley and a powerboat with a moderate galley so with determination you can cook on just about anything. Food looked awesome. We have had many thanksgiving dinners aboard the boat and always a great treat to have friends that share in the festivities. Keep up the fun and enjoy your life. We might just be starting our adventure this fall. Who knows.
Really enjoyed your Friendsgiving video on Pivot. Seriously, I smiled the entire 28.5 minutes!! Looked like a lot of fun was had. You two are great inspirations of positive attitudes making happy times!
Question...what does the piece of teak that Is hinged to the bottom of the helm seat that Jen is almost touching with her right hand at 27.0 min, do? Is it just a seat extension that a small cushion goes in to get you closer to the wheel when piloting the boat?
Exactly! We hinge that up when we want to sit at the interior helm station. We don't have the insert cushion so we just shift our existing cushions down and it does the job! There is also another teach hinging footrest that comes up closer to the floor. Cheers Captain Rosie!
@@SchoandJo okay, I may build a copy of that for our Nordic Tug. The bench seat in her is also to far away from the helm, which is done to give you more walking room of course. Thanks.
We are presently on the loop and in Tarpon Springs getting the bottom of our Ranger Tug scraped and painted. I appreciated that Elliot scraped the bottom of barnacles, such hard work! I think that was your other video. I hope we get the chance to meet you on the Loop. We had a Trawler in the past (1978 Californian) and your boat is really cute.I too love my kitchen and love to create and bake. Keep the wonderful videos coming!!
Really enjoyed the video. Jen great use of the "Nerve Settler" or as most guys would say "internal alcohol rubdown" to get you through the meal prep. If you have a grill aboard Pivot remember you could use that as an oven as need be. Great choice for that would be something like a Holland Companion Grill if you could find one. Do not forget to let you genny cool down for a bit unloaded before shutting it down. Be safe and Stay safe.
Haha thanks Jeffrey! Great tips on the Holland Companion Grill - they seem really cool and an a fantastic option! We have a Magna onboard but it only has one temperature, HOT. Will have to keep an eye out as a possible improvement :) Good tip on the genny - we started doing that recently after I read about it in the manual... Should have been doing it all along! Cheers!
Looks delicious!!! Good times... I wouldn't run the oven and battery charger at the same time. Might be overloading your genny. I'm lucky, my boat's genny is an 8k. I can run the main AC unit and cook all at the same time. Cheers!!!!!!!
It was most definitely delicious! I'm 90% sure that the issue is our secondary fuel filter, I think it lets some air into the system. Since this it has been running really well! It is a 5k genny so not too shabby 😄 It should run our AC but when our AC starts it goes back to our batteries for a bit and our wires are not suitable for it. Batteries are plenty but wires are not so oh well!
My convection microwave in my truck is way better than a microwave but I hate it. It does ok cooking for 1-2 ppl but cooking a bigger casserole doesn’t work it’s normally raw in the middle no matter how long it cooks🤬🤬🤬
@@SchoandJo I was going to suggest and insta pot too. I believe they have new ones that also can do some kind of air frying or something. It really expands the number and type of recipes you can do.

Aww thanks y'all!!! Jenn coaxed "Annie" the generator through the most intense day yet 😁 We will have to cook another feast when we hangout again!!

Sounds like you've had the gamut of galleys! You can really appreciate the differences once you've experienced them... Thanks for watching David!

Aww thanks so much! It was really fun making this video too! ❤️
I wasn’t hungry before I started watching this. You messed me up 😉
Haha shoot - hopefully you had something good 😁
Amazing!
Everything looked delicious. Great job with your Friendsgiving dinner. Ollie and Aiden are wonderful together. ♥️♥️♥️
Thanks for the recipe ❤️
Great job girl awesome food
Thoroughly enjoy your videos. Thanks for all the hard work and great content.
Thanks so much Jeffrey!
Jennifer, I like your attitude towards cooking sort of a Julia Child vibe. Everything is better with wine and wine!
The grinds looked yummy and delicious!
They were! Thanks T Mac - hope you're feeling well!
@@SchoandJo I'm starting to feel better. Will take some time to build my strength back up. So, I'm just taking if easy.

Damn, that all looked good! Well except for what looked like brussel sprouts
Haha the brussel sprouts were delicous too 🤣 thanks for watching Casey!
Annie needs her points clean in the regulator a very very small file will do the trick.like a finger nail file
Annie was a champ today!! 😁 thanks for the tip!
I look forward you 😃

I use a insta pot or crockpot for bigger meals now it turns out much better
Ah nice... we definitely aren't a big fan of it but it serves a niche... An insta pot is our number 1 though!

@@rfdinesen4027 for sure! We use ours a few times a week at least. We don’t have the air fryer model unfortunately but we still love it!
So 2 out of the 4 are vegetarian, why is it always the omnivores that have to give way and not eat meat?
They don’t have to give way, they choose to give way.
Vegan is an old Indian word for bad hunter!
