@martinjugolin2087 What are you on about? The game set in the Middle East just so happens to sound better and be more immersive in Arabic. I'm not Muslim, and I also don't hate Christianity, lol.
I dont like Ali's arab dub, but agree 100% that is immersive to play the game as such (especially Basim's voice in arabic) since i own it & finished all of the game under 7 days (took me that long cause of finding collectables, side missions & taking breaks) And yeah it sucks that you can teleport in the game, but it did prove useful when i wanted to finish the game as quickly as possible since the Story was mid when i saw it on youtube 😂, im glad i spoiled myself, cus i would have been upset if i found that out while playing. Edit: change my mind a bit, Ali's dub is fine
When I heard Mirage would have an Arabic dub I was so excited, and haven't even considered playing in English. Just like AC II and Brotherhood in Italian and Unity in French (which is also IMO the only way to play that game - I mean, English accents????), it just adds so much immersion and authenticity. I'm a dumb 'Murican who's hardly an expert on Islamic history and culture, but I feel they've done a fantastic job with this game and I feel like it's taught me a thing or two. And yeah the teleport sucks and is stupid and immersion breaking ("But the Animus-" screw the Animus), but you can also just not use it. I sure don't. There's one tutorial where you're required to use it, and then you never have to use it again.
Ngl I prefer Odyssey's assassination teleports to this. Mirage completely takes you out of the game and immersion with it, at least in odyssey it was a little more smooth / done off screen.
I remember playing Ezio games in italian and unity in french just because to be more authentic... even tho I didn't understand like 90% of the words said.... i also was leaning to play Mirage is arabic but I'm kinda fed up with trying to have 4 eyes .... get enough of it when watching foreign stuff - movies and series in English sub...
Played most of the assassin's Creed that allowed the actual language of the setting using said language. Origins i kinda get the difficulty but they could still use some Greek.
