The show's format features five stages of competition: producers' auditions, blind auditions, battle rounds, knockouts (since 2012), and live performance shows.
A combined 438 singers have won The Voice, The Voice Kids, The Voice Teens and The Voice Senior in 145 countries/regions. Each winner is given a recording contract, a monetary prize, and a title as that nation's "Voice".

While the mentors recognize Rashmitha's exceptional tallent and his potential to go beyond the SL industry, he will never be able to win a contest based on the popular votes. I dont think SL music fans or atleast the ones who vote, has got their music taste broadened to that extent yet. I feel Ashka or Thilina will win this competition (which isn't a bad thing at all) but Rashmitha will win the world one day.

I feel the same. Is there anyway people living away from Sri Lanka to vote him? Theres no other contestant has this kind of talent. Surely there are other great performers but Rashmitha is another superior level. I am a huge fan.
I think time zone are playing a huge role when it gets to voting for a live show..
And you can't sacrifice your sleep every weekend when you also feel there might be another agenda. As to how on earth Ridmika win over Ravindu. That's the day I decided I won't sacrifice my sleep to vote this show.. to make rich people (Sirasa) richer.. but I still appreciate the real talent from the bottom of my heart 😊

I am a huge fan Rashmitha. But I'm worried about the diction of Malayalam chorus that was sung right at the beginning. It could have been a lot better. I am mentioning all these because you're one of versatile talent this show has got. Also, I was expecting the jiya jale in a higher octave as you've proved that you don't have limits in singing higher notes. It would have been more effective. Again the diction of Tamil words at the end could have been better, but what I expected was brought out at the end, I loved the performance on the whole. If these things also could be improved, you'd be a perfect professional singer. Hope to see you in finals..
While I wouldnt have a clue about the the diction, I do agree a higher octave would have suit him better.
